00:01Previously on Project Runway...
00:03For your next challenge, one of you will design my gown.
00:09Vincent is the team leader.
00:11I am not inspired by his vision at all.
00:13You have to move three feet away from me.
00:15It's hell for me.
00:17It's looking kind of like it's carved out of a big log.
00:24I can't tell where the action's going.
00:26Did you guys work well together?
00:28It was horrific.
00:29I didn't like this dress.
00:31The winner of this challenge is Cain.
00:34Cain, you won this challenge and you have immunity for the next challenge.
00:39Milan, that means you're out.
00:41Auf Wiedersehen.
00:43The winner of Project Runway will receive a spread in Elle magazine,
00:46a mentorship with Ink International Concepts Design,
00:49a 2007 Saturn Sky Roadster,
00:51and $100,000 to start their own line.
00:54Furnished by Tresemme Professional Haircare.
00:57This is Project Runway.
01:00Fashion is my life.
01:02I'm going to win.
01:03Fifteen contestants.
01:04I'm fabulously glamorous.
01:06I've got mad skills.
01:08But only one can be the winner.
01:10I'm better than they are.
01:11You gotta be kidding me.
01:12For these fifteen contestants, Project Runway is the chance of a lifetime.
01:17I am so excited about getting immunity.
01:29Like literally, I can send anything down the runway I want and not even have to worry about it.
01:33Of course I will not do that because this is just another chance to have something fabulous walk down the stage.
01:38You really feel now that every few days somebody's going to go.
01:42It's just weird because you start to get to know people and their personalities.
01:46And he was like a really nice roommate.
01:48I am upset that Marana had to go.
01:50I don't think he deserved to go home.
01:53But I don't think I was responsible for what happened with our dress.
01:57For your next challenge, you will be designing an outfit inspired by one of fashion's hottest accessories.
02:15Tim will fill you in on the details tomorrow morning.
02:19Okay, let's bring out the winning and losing designers models.
02:27Models, this is a competition for you too.
02:31The model paired with a winning designer will receive a spread in Elle magazine.
02:36Cain, you were the winner of the last challenge.
02:38So you have the option of swapping models with your fellow designers.
02:43Your model was Katja.
02:45And if you decide to stay with her, that means Moon, Milan's model from the first challenge, will be out.
02:52What do you want to do?
02:54I'm going to have to stick with Katja.
02:58Katja, that means you're in.
03:04Sorry, it's Moon, that means you're out.
03:08Okay, you have your models.
03:14I would say you get some rest.
03:16Because you have a very early start tomorrow morning.
03:19Have fun, and I'll see you on the runway.
03:22Bye.
03:23Bye.
03:25Okay, kids.
03:26What's this challenge going to be tomorrow?
03:28What's America's one favorite accessory?
03:31I don't know.
03:32I guess a cell phone.
03:33Of course, we were all like, oh my gosh, what is it?
03:35What is it?
03:36Maybe a belt or shoe.
03:38I don't know.
03:39I hope this third challenge is something where we can really do something.
03:44Yeah.
03:45I think that they want to see versatility.
03:47I was just excited and waiting to hear what the word would go on to the next challenge.
03:52Hey girls, we have a message.
04:04Allow our directions, please follow them and meet me for details on your next challenge.
04:09Sincerely, Tim Gunn.
04:10Make your way uptown along the west side of Central Park.
04:14Guys, it's horses.
04:17Are horses a fashion accessory?
04:22I didn't know how far we were going.
04:25We really weren't, you know, clued in on any of the details.
04:29When we went to Central Park, we didn't know what the hell was going on.
04:34I thought there was a nice, uh, brunch buffet waiting for us, but that wasn't happening.
04:40Who was there?
04:43We don't know what we're in for.
04:48We were waiting for Tim to arrive, and it was cold as .
04:53So, we wait.
04:55And, uh, Tim Gunn comes over, right over this little knoll.
05:00Oh, my God!
05:09Oh, my God!
05:13Oh, my God!
05:18Fantastic.
05:19I just was like, oh, my God, am I witnessing this?
05:24It's unbelievable to see Tim with all those dogs.
05:27Designers, Heidi told you you'd be designing an outfit for one of today's hottest fashion accessories.
05:32And here they are, 13 of them.
05:34Each dog has a jersey with their name on it.
05:39I want you to come forward, choose a dog, and get to know your muse.
05:44I'm not a dog person.
05:46When you're 42 years old and you have five children, you just don't have the emotional energy to care for, you know, an animal like that.
05:55I'm very happy with Einstein.
05:58I couldn't have picked anything better.
06:01And if I would be a dog, I would be a dog like Einstein.
06:04I can tell you that everyone picked themselves when they picked their dogs, especially Keith.
06:10I like to make rare things.
06:12This is a rare dog.
06:13This is great for me.
06:14I was like, Morgan, yes, come to Papa.
06:17I'm not a poodle.
06:18I'm more inspired by the poodle.
06:20I'm not, so...
06:21Okay.
06:22And Bradley came walking over to me, and he was like, what am I going to do with a poodle?
06:26And I looked at Stanley, and I was like, yeah, Stanley really looks like you, Bradley.
06:31So Bradley and I switched dogs.
06:33So I don't have to touch it.
06:37I actually did not pick my dog.
06:40My dog was the last dog left.
06:42Okay, designers, we're going to walk back to Parsons, where I'll give you more details about the challenge.
06:52Designers, for this challenge, you will make a women's wear outfit inspired by your dog.
06:58We want you to think narratively.
07:00That is, we want you to use your dog as inspiration for a story about its owner.
07:05What kind of woman is she?
07:06Where is she going?
07:08One more thing.
07:09You must design a complimentary outfit for your dog.
07:13All right.
07:15You will have two days for this challenge and a budget of $150.
07:19You will have a half hour to sketch, and that half hour starts now.
07:26Sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit.
07:29Stay, stay, sit.
07:31Sit down and be good.
07:33I'll figure this out, okay?
07:39My idea for Pepe's owner is like a fashionista, a girl who travels the world,
07:44and then Pepe's getting a mini jacket, kind of like a mini motorcycle jacket.
07:49It's going to be hot.
07:51Stay, stay.
07:53Patty cake, patty cake, look over here.
07:57My story is about a British headmistress of an art camp in Paris, and the camp is called Jubilee Jumbles.
08:07So she's throwing a big party for Patty cake.
08:10Stay.
08:11Stay.
08:12Okay.
08:13So just stay right here.
08:14Okay, just stay right there then.
08:16This dog is just super exotic.
08:20I'm definitely doing like a big collar on her and a chain, and I think that's all that Morgan needs.
08:25Please don't make me make something stupid for Morgan.
08:28You're so handsome.
08:37You're a good boy.
08:39Shhh.
08:40Is that a good outfit?
08:41That's a good outfit?
08:42Oh.
08:43Hi, everybody.
08:44Your 30 minutes is up, and we're going shopping.
08:49I knew what I wanted.
08:54I knew what I wanted.
08:56I knew I wanted linen, silk, and leather, so I found those sections right away.
09:02I'm going to make a really colorful dress, something kind of a cool print.
09:08Not everybody could wear or would wear, which is a little bit of a risk.
09:13I need a nice, expensive looking, but very inexpensive fabric for a top.
09:18We only had 30 minutes to shop at Mood.
09:21Luckily, I knew exactly what I wanted.
09:23I pulled out this gorgeous Missoni print.
09:27Like, gorgeous.
09:28Isn't that gorgeous?
09:29That's great.
09:30It's Missoni.
09:31Look at this beautiful tweed.
09:33It's like Jackie Kennedy and Barbie all rolled into one.
09:35It is.
09:36That is like Pepto Barbie and Jackie Kennedy.
09:38God, mine's so tasteful compared to you guys.
09:40Oh, Laura, always mistaking taste and style.
09:43I know.
09:44Laura said, you have no taste, and I said, hun, you have no taste.
09:48I said, yours is vanilla, mine is Rocky Road.
09:52Our time's up, and we are leaving.
09:55Thank you, Mood.
09:56We love you.
09:57This has got to be, like, a perfect Garmin.
10:08Yeah.
10:09I've never done a dress like this before.
10:12My clothes are mostly, like, casual sportswear.
10:15Before the last runaway challenge, I was worried about going home.
10:19I really have to prove my design style and my taste.
10:23I want to be one of the best designers here, if not the best.
10:26I knew I wanted a silk taffeta for the skirt, and it had to be springy color because Patty Cake was born in the spring.
10:34And I just went completely balls out and got all of these different printed fabrics, so to make my little rosettes.
10:40I do have a concept and story.
10:42My girl is a Park Avenue princess who's just checked into rehab and needs someone to take care of her tiny dog for a weekend.
10:49I have this thing about stories.
10:51I hate them.
10:53I think they're stupid.
11:08I don't know about Bradley because he's in his own little daydreamy sort of world, and I think he's got time management issues.
11:17But I'm feeling behind right now.
11:20And I quickly found out that these lines that I'm making were going to be really hard to sew.
11:26So I spent a lot of time adjusting from my original idea.
11:30The more I thought about it, I was like, you know what?
11:33I'm going to change the whole thing.
11:35It's fine.
11:36I can shift.
11:37Tomorrow's going to be hectic.
11:40I'm going home!
11:42Coming up on Project Runway.
11:48Enough.
11:49Not this morning.
11:50Up, up, up.
11:51Keith.
11:52He's really just become a major head.
11:54The top's got to be redone.
12:07Hurry it up, boy.
12:08I'm ready.
12:09You ready?
12:10I'm my eraser.
12:11I'm a pattern ready.
12:12I love the shades.
12:15This is the second day of the dog challenge.
12:20You know, it's going to come down to the wire.
12:23There's no doubt.
12:26It's absolutely no different to design for a dog than it is a person.
12:29You know, you just design what you want to design for the being that you're designing for.
12:34I just think everyone has their distinct style.
12:36You know, it's really kind of fun to look around the room.
12:39And I just happen to love mine more than everybody else's.
12:43When I get going, I don't stop.
12:46Check him out.
12:48Good little boy.
12:53People are underestimating the importance of the dog outfit.
12:56I hear people over and over again saying, well, you know, this is my girl here.
13:00I don't know.
13:01For me, if you can't put both of them together, it's not going to work.
13:05What are you doing?
13:10Let me go to work.
13:15How's your new design coming, Bradley B?
13:20Do you think you're good on time and all that stuff?
13:23Yeah.
13:24Good.
13:25As long as it all goes smooth.
13:28And last night, I abandoned my original idea.
13:32So I have had to start all over.
13:35Hey, everybody.
13:36Bradley's birthday tomorrow.
13:38Oh, my gosh.
13:40Let's give him a happy yak.
13:42What if Bradley goes home on his birthday?
13:44That's all I'm saying.
13:46He'll probably have a birthday party somewhere else.
13:50Happy birthday.
13:51God help us all.
13:52I hope Bradley's not out, but he is taking way too long with his garment.
13:56I don't know what the hell's going on.
13:57If he would have just gone with his vision, it still couldn't have been any worse than anything that Angela did.
14:07She's making an outfit right now for the dog show.
14:09It's like a big bag of Skittles.
14:12Purple and pink and scary.
14:20Is this one in working order?
14:21Do you know?
14:22It's not.
14:23It's not in working order.
14:24Why is that?
14:25It's just not.
14:26And this is Angela's.
14:27No one wants to turn with Angela.
14:28Keith.
14:29That dude's head is unbelievable.
14:31And who's on this one?
14:32Anyone you know?
14:33I'm on that one.
14:34Well, there's some green thread here.
14:37Who's on this?
14:38I've had a problem with Keith over the last week or so.
14:42Because he told me he had a seam this long to sew.
14:46That's what he told me.
14:48Yeah, well, and he's using our thread?
14:50Yes.
14:51I just noticed him just kind of like take over those damn sewing machines.
14:56Do you really have a problem with that?
14:57No, I don't need the machine right now.
14:58It's just that if...
14:59So what's the problem?
15:00Because I'm worried about Michael.
15:01I need the machine.
15:02Because I did.
15:03You didn't have a problem.
15:04I just thought...
15:05No, I told you.
15:06I was like just...
15:07I'm just trying to protect my man.
15:08He's really getting very competitive and he's starting to be mean to a lot of people.
15:11Not this morning.
15:12Up, up, up.
15:13He's really just become a major head in the workroom and very arrogant.
15:18Laura.
15:19Oh, my God.
15:20She's bad mommy.
15:22I had a good mommy.
15:24She's bad mommy.
15:25There's some spiciness going on.
15:28But I don't know.
15:30I'm just trying to finish my garment.
15:32I'm trying to stay clear of any storms, you know?
15:41Hey, everybody.
15:42Hi, Tim.
15:43So, Katherine.
15:44Hi, Tim.
15:45How are you?
15:46Good.
15:47All right.
15:48So, I've got the dress all put together.
15:51I'm going to see how it looks on Amanda in the morning.
15:53And what's Tallulah wearing?
15:54She's going to be wearing a little hooded doggy sweater.
15:58It's made out of this so it matches, but I didn't want it to be like with this same trim,
16:03you know?
16:04No.
16:05What's the matter?
16:06Well, the only reason that you should be at all concerned is because it's a pretty basic dress.
16:12I could whip up like a little hoodie jacket.
16:14Shrug.
16:15Katherine.
16:16Do it.
16:17I will.
16:18All right.
16:19And then she'll be matching Tallulah.
16:20Yeah, exactly.
16:21Uli.
16:22Hi, Tim.
16:23How are you?
16:24I'm good.
16:25How are you?
16:26I wanted to tell you, I saw you with the fabric at Mood and I thought, what are you doing?
16:30And now I see.
16:31And it's really beautiful.
16:32You know, he's like a funky, cool little guy.
16:35So I wanted to make her also kind of a funky, cool girl.
16:39Like, yeah.
16:40I mean, I think it's beautiful.
16:43And?
16:44He's finished Pepe's little coat.
16:46This is the back.
16:48A little torpedo.
16:49A little sculpture.
16:50Same.
16:51Yeah.
16:52Closure here.
16:53This is great.
16:54Yeah.
16:55Gorgeous.
16:56Looks beautiful.
16:58Good.
16:59This is a beautiful dress.
17:00And it's very innovative.
17:01And you're just doing the little spats for Morgan?
17:02Yeah.
17:03I have the image of this woman in my head so well.
17:06She doesn't dress her dog up.
17:08She's got this gorgeous...
17:09Yeah, but it's part of the challenge.
17:10I know.
17:11I know.
17:12I just don't want people to pick on you with this beautiful dress because the dog's under-designed
17:18for.
17:19I know that this challenge is about accessorizing the dog.
17:22But it's so lame.
17:24Is that Angela?
17:26You know what?
17:27This doesn't look like it's come very far.
17:29But look.
17:30I know it has indeed.
17:31You know what happened.
17:32I got a little...
17:33A little obsessed with the inside.
17:34So I made it perfect.
17:35Well, almost perfect.
17:36But why?
17:37Because I wanted to have a little bit of structure underneath.
17:40You're really going over the top with this.
17:44Think about who she is in terms of describing her to the judges.
17:49I was concerned about Angela's outfit.
17:51Because I hadn't seen it put together, I just saw all these crazy little flower things
17:56and I wasn't sure what it was gonna be.
17:58All right, carry on.
17:59Okay.
18:00All right.
18:01Bradley.
18:02Hi, Tim.
18:03How are you?
18:04All right.
18:05And where are you?
18:07This is what I have done so far.
18:13I don't get it.
18:15Tell me more.
18:16I mean, I really...
18:17I don't understand it, to be honest.
18:19Well, the top is like reflecting Stanley, you know, a little bit shaggy.
18:25Yeah, but you know, if it's not pretty, it doesn't matter.
18:28Uh-huh.
18:29That top's gotta be redone.
18:34Yeah, that's how I feel.
18:35Yeah.
18:36You all have an hour.
18:38Finish up as much as you can tonight.
18:40All right?
18:41Good night.
18:42Good night.
18:43Good morning.
18:44Carry on.
18:46There was quite a frenzy in the room.
18:48And you have the clock ticking and chaos and all those people around.
18:52Time goes by so quickly.
18:55Oh, my God.
19:00That's so cute.
19:01What does it say?
19:02Hi, ladies.
19:03For the judges.
19:05Dude.
19:06Do an A-line dress, no sleeves, and you'll have it.
19:10Speed it up.
19:11Yeah, I'm a little stressed out.
19:12I had to start abandoning this whole thing and start all over again.
19:16You know, Bradley is definitely Bradley.
19:18He likes to jump off bridges and find things as he falls.
19:22It's horrible.
19:23Dude, you got the spurred on.
19:24But I'd rather turn in nothing than have something.
19:25You can't turn in nothing.
19:26You get it?
19:27Why can't I?
19:28Because you just can't.
19:29I didn't finish.
19:30You know what I mean?
19:31So it's a forfeit.
19:32I'm not gonna show something, you know, that I'm embarrassed to have go down the runway.
19:47I'd rather show nothing.
19:48I'm in the water.
19:50I mean, tomorrow's my birthday, and I'm planning on not showing anything at this moment.
19:59You know, that's like, that sucks.
20:03Coming up on Project Runway.
20:05Here they come.
20:06You have an hour until your model gets here fixed up.
20:34What am I doing today?
20:36I even forgot.
20:37Dog challenge today.
20:38That's what I'm doing today.
20:39A couple of mates that we're worried about.
20:42Bradley's one of them.
20:43I think Bradley wants to just give up or something.
20:46Well, I am screwed.
20:48What's at stake today in the runway?
20:50Challenge is going home.
20:51Either I stay or I go.
20:53It's Bradley's birthday today, and we just don't want him to go home.
20:56He can't go home on his birthday.
20:58Let's go to Parsons, kids.
21:00I don't feel so good.
21:03Ready for the runway.
21:06Good morning, everybody.
21:07Hi, Tim.
21:08How are you?
21:09Good.
21:10Good.
21:11Good, good.
21:12Your models are coming in in an hour.
21:14You'll have two hours to fit them.
21:16Send them to the L'Oreal Paris makeup room, the Tresemme hair salon, and get them ready for the show.
21:22It's going to be quite a judging.
21:24Hey, happy birthday.
21:25Thank you very much.
21:26How are you doing?
21:27Scrambling.
21:28Yeah?
21:29It sucks.
21:30So, I don't know what I'm going to do.
21:32How did this turn out to be such a mess?
21:35Um, that's a good question.
21:38I dare not even ask about poor little Stanley.
21:41Right.
21:42Did you do anything for him?
21:43No.
21:44No?
21:45Yeah.
21:46All right, worry about her first.
21:47All right.
21:48Okay.
21:49All right, I'm going to leave you alone.
21:50Thanks.
21:51Bradley is running around crazy like a man without a country.
21:55Mayday, mayday.
21:56I have to finish the blouse, number one, and do the dog outfit.
21:59I'm not in a good spot with this.
22:01I'm just totally screwed.
22:04Hi, baby.
22:06Hi.
22:07We have fun today.
22:09Hello.
22:10It scares me.
22:11It looks like a dog.
22:12It's awesome.
22:13Should I get ready with Charlie?
22:15Yes, yes.
22:16Hi.
22:17How are you doing?
22:18How are you doing?
22:19Um, I'm kind of troubled.
22:21I don't know.
22:22This is going to be, yeah.
22:23You may not have anything, but I'm doing everything I can.
22:26I might be going naked.
22:28Well, I don't know.
22:29We might not be going at all, but I'm going to see how this turns out.
22:32I really don't want to go home.
22:34Seeing her reaction, I realized like, you know, someone else is involved in this now,
22:40and it motivated me more.
22:42Do you want to go get makeup?
22:44I want it to look like a sort of, on a clear day, you can see forever mom.
22:53As long as you come back.
22:54Yeah, exactly.
22:55When you don't see me, then send me a consolation gift.
22:58Oh.
22:59I want it to kind of come down a little bit and be like that.
23:02I was thinking more just cool.
23:03Just back.
23:04Yeah.
23:05Straight back.
23:06I really like to win this challenge because I'm so passionate about it and really confident
23:10with the outcome of my designs.
23:12Have you seen the model?
23:13Okay, this is what I'm looking for.
23:15He's like, oh, use your best judgment.
23:18I'm like, not quite done yet.
23:23Designers, I have an announcement to make.
23:26I'm sending in your other models.
23:29Here they go.
23:31All right.
23:34Hi, little girl.
23:38Her hair.
23:39I felt pretty good about the dress I made.
23:42It was little crazy colors and I put two weird fabrics together, but that's what I do when
23:48I'm sewing at home.
23:50I was pretty confident about the outfit.
23:53Oh, look at you.
23:57Sophia was actually very patient when I was trying to put her little doggy outfit on without
24:02strangling her or anything.
24:03Are you seeing how perfect this looks with the fur around her face?
24:07Perfect.
24:08Let's see.
24:09Let me see how he looks.
24:10Oh, my God.
24:11Forget it.
24:12It's all over.
24:13Let's see if this collar is going to fit you.
24:15I don't know if it will because your chest is a little bigger than I thought.
24:18My model and my dog, they're stunning winners.
24:21I'm an excellent designer, so I have a very good chance of winning.
24:24That's so cute.
24:25You're so cute.
24:26Let me get another picture.
24:28When Tim came in last night, he suggested making up, like, a hooded jacket and I had
24:33almost finished it this morning, but I needed to focus on getting Tallulah's outfit done.
24:38I don't think I needed it.
24:40Okay.
24:41Did we pull our little bows out and stuff?
24:44Yeah.
24:45I decided that I'm just going to use what I already have and put the lining in it.
24:51Okay, bud.
24:52You're getting a collar.
24:53I'm happy with it.
24:55I would love to hear what the judges have to say.
24:58Designers and models, it's time.
25:01We're going down to the runway.
25:03All right.
25:04All right.
25:09Coming up on Project Runway.
25:14This is how I see it, and this is how she dresses it.
25:18If you want to give us a hard time, I'm going to give you a hard time right back.
25:26Hello.
25:27Hi.
25:28Welcome to the runway.
25:30As you know, in fashion, one day you're in, and the next day, you're out.
25:34There are 13 of you now, and after tonight, there will be 12.
25:39For this challenge, we asked you to create a women's wear outfit,
25:42inspired by one of fashion's hottest accessories, a dog.
25:47We asked you to come up with a story about its owner.
25:50We also asked you to make a complimentary outfit for your dog.
25:53Let's meet the judges.
25:56Sitting in for Michael Kors, we have world-renowned fashion designer Vera Wang,
26:01fashion director of Elle magazine Nina Garcia.
26:04Hi.
26:05And the fashionable Ivanka Trump.
26:08Hello, everyone.
26:09Vice president of development at the Trump Organization.
26:13We will score your designs as they come down the runway.
26:16One of you will be named the winner, and one of you will be out.
26:22Let's start the show.
26:23I felt so good about Katya and Molly's performance.
26:36Katya was strutting that outfit and just being the rich bitch that she was supposed to be.
26:40When I saw Lindsay coming down the runway, I felt pretty confident.
26:56My outfit fitted with the story I wanted to tell.
27:00Danielle came down the runway with Chanel at her heels, and they both looked amazing.
27:17I felt really proud.
27:19Chanel seemed like a natural-born star.
27:22When I saw Tony walking down the runway, I loved the entire look.
27:35Pepito had a matching vest, and he looked adorable.
27:52It was a great birthday because my model didn't go nude down the runway.
27:58As long as I don't get swallowed in the jaws of the judges.
28:11I did something beautiful and elegant and sophisticated and perfect in its own way.
28:17It's all about Morgan.
28:19She doesn't really need any accessories.
28:21I thought mine looked fabulous walking down the runway.
28:31It was everything that I wanted it to look like.
28:44I really liked my garment when it was on the runway.
28:47I thought it looked good.
28:49I thought the dog and Amanda looked great together.
29:01When I saw Carly and Alexandra walking down the runway, I was like, damn.
29:07I absolutely loved everything about it.
29:20Little A just tried to get that hat off his head at all stakes.
29:24I was just sitting there.
29:26I was like, holy God.
29:27And there goes the whole, you know, the whole outfit.
29:29The whole outfit.
29:38I was surprised.
29:39In the end, I did get over the fact that I was designing a dog costume.
29:42Sofia was actually kind of cute.
29:44Sofia was actually kind of cute.
29:45I felt so incredibly proud.
29:58The whole outfit.
29:59The whole outfit was unlike anything anybody else had done.
30:10When I see the garment coming down the runway, I think it's beautiful.
30:14It fit Javi perfectly.
30:18Flex got a little wild, I think.
30:20We've scored your designs.
30:40Will the following designers please step forward?
30:43Alison.
30:44Bradley.
30:45Keith.
30:46Angela.
30:47Catherine.
30:48Uli.
30:50If I have not called your name, congratulations.
30:52Your scores have qualified you to move on to the next challenge.
30:58You can leave the table at the table at the table.
30:59You can leave the runway.
31:03You can leave the table at the table.
31:20The six remaining designers have the highest and the lowest scores.
31:23the lowest scores one of you will be named the winner and one of you will be
31:30out let's bring out your models
31:40okay I would like to start with Uli you were supposed to tell a story about
31:45where she's going what kind of woman she is I created an outfit for a young hip
31:50girl who is not afraid of color she likes partying actually she went partying last
31:55night and she got up at 12 o'clock and now she's meeting her fabulous
32:00girlfriends and they're gonna go to lunch and then they're gonna go shopping
32:03for more fabulous clothes I like your story it just works for me I like that
32:08you have patterns I like the mixture of the pattern I like the fit of the dress
32:13that kind of dog is usually a little bit more butch so to see her looking sort of
32:19so feminine is kind of an interesting twist can we see without Jack I think
32:25the back is fabulous when she turns around it's a beautiful dress on it fits
32:30great it's very playful Katherine tell us a little bit about where she's going to
32:38Lula has this like hidden sporty side so her owner is gonna be this very simple
32:44modern woman who needs to dress up on occasion maybe to go to like a Sunday
32:49brunch with the girls and tools got a little like hoodie I have to say I like
32:54to Lula's outfit more than so do I outfit it's very wearable I just think it's so
32:59simple it almost seems like you put a lot more time into Lula's outfit it was
33:04kind of the look I was going for like very clean and simple I feel like if I'm a
33:08designer I want to come up with something that stands out something that is
33:12amazing to me it's very blah I'm wondering I don't know if you guys can
33:16see it but the ham is supposed to be like that yeah it's it's really the only
33:21finishing that works with the machine we have up there I think there's something
33:27to be desired for the execution Alison tell us please the story okay well
33:34Pepito inspired me to design an outfit for a young woman who I see as a Japanese
33:40woman who works in the fashion industry she travels religiously with her dog
33:43and she's here in New York during fashion week to work as a buyer I love
33:48the idea was that hairdo on purpose for the model in your credit I definitely
33:53think you saw a lot I thought it was a touch that was unexpected I think as a
33:58whole I thought it was a very modern chic cool new look I would like to
34:04continue with Angela to me it looks like your model is going exactly where you're
34:08going well she's the assistant director at a kids art camp in Paris and she's
34:15throwing a birthday party for the camps mascot patty cake and how old are the
34:20kids six through twelve that is a hot-looking mama to work with kids I was
34:25that skirt is super short belly out boobies out I am it's a little
34:30inappropriate if the kids are are as young as six I don't get it I don't get
34:35your explanation about the assistant to the director to the art camp in Paris
34:38I don't even know what to say it is very raunchy in a way the skirt is
34:45beautifully draped I just think you've maybe got a focus more on styling Bradley
34:52your Stanley is very loud yes you've been such a bad boy tell us where your model
35:02is going who she is what she's all about she's an architect confident and
35:08appreciates simplicity and structure I love the idea of this outfit like the
35:17honey color with the gray and the pumps love the hairdo I like the play on volume
35:22can I see that profile because I'm sure it's fantastic what is Stanley wearing
35:26then he's got a collar with a little accessory on it very daring of you and I
35:31think it looks amazing I could see shooting that for Elle Keith I would like
35:38to know where your lady is going she's modern sophisticated elegant she's got a
35:46dog that's a rare breed and she doesn't want to dress it up in baby doll clothes
35:50that's why you're telling me straight away why your dog has no outfit because
35:54that would have been my next question well it's not that it doesn't have an
35:56outfit it's definitely styled it is accessorized this is how I see it and
36:01this is how she dresses it I think this is a fantastic dress I would just have
36:06expected a little more from you I made many many outfits for the dog and I
36:13thought about it a long time how are we supposed to judge you when he has no fabric on
36:18that you actually made well there's a little sash over here you made that well
36:23okay give us a hard time gonna give you a hard time right back can I see this
36:28necklace what are you talking about you made this you made this no just this
36:33little tiny sash over here yeah you make it sound like you made this whole thing
36:37this is a bracelet oh I thought that was me no it's not made at all idea I spent a lot
36:42of time on that I find it a little hard to judge when there is no outfit on the dog
36:48okay we've heard what you had to say now we're gonna have a little chat and then I'm gonna call
36:54you back onto the runway thank you let's start with Bradley Baumkirchner with little Stanley it was
37:07interesting I like his play with volume the silhouette most original yeah it was rather
37:12beautiful fully she has a good feeling for the colors and pattern yeah putting that together she
37:22thought about the dog and I think that really it came across Allison every other designer couldn't
37:32get a grasp on the full look she got the full look I like the hairdo the black tie sense she
37:40definitely has a vision Catherine I think we all love the hoodie on the dog and that's about the
37:49long and the short of it there's lack of creativity there I think it would have been a lot easier had
37:54she sewed it better Angela I really did not like this at all the top was beautifully made as was the skirt
38:06but somehow the styling was just so off her model to me looked like a street walker
38:12Keith what do you guys think about his look and that he did not have a outfit for his dog he was very
38:22also very standard fish no I didn't like his attitude at all I don't know that I believe he could have done
38:26something right like I want to go see the tape to see if he actually made four outfits but I do have
38:32to say that his clothes look very well presented and look impeccable so we made our decision let's bring out
38:44the designers the six of you represent the best and the worst one of you will be named the winner and one
39:00of you will be out the six of you represent the best and the worst one of you will be named the winner and
39:19one of you will be out and now for the winner of this challenge congratulations Uli thank you we
39:36loved your design the choice of color fabrics you did a great job you have immunity for the next challenge
39:44and cannot be eliminated thank you you can leave the runway
39:48I was surprised that I won getting immunity for the next challenge I think it's the biggest thing you
39:59can have Alison you're in you can leave the runway
40:10Bradley you're in you can leave the runway
40:30Keith you might have won this challenge if you would have made an outfit for your dog
40:48but you're in you can leave the runway thank you
40:53I didn't win like that doesn't make any sense there wasn't any good execution
41:00on the stage except for mine
41:01Catherine Angela one of you will be out
41:12Catherine the outfit was poorly executed and uninspired
41:21we felt that it did not have a story to tell
41:25Angela Angela your outfit was well constructed but it was way too over the top we really question your taste level
41:36Angela
41:44you're in you can leave the runway
41:51that means Catherine you're out sorry to hear that
42:02it was a little bit of a shock to be honest when Heidi said that I was out
42:14I never think I'm gonna win but I I thought I did a pretty good job so you have to go upstairs and clean up your space
42:24take care
42:25the judges said it didn't feel inspired but it was actually out of the three things I've worked on the most inspired piece I've done since being here
42:34so I disagree with them and I liked it
42:40if I have to go home and it's a time when I enjoy what I made and I liked it then that's the best way to go
42:46next on Project Runway
42:50we want to put you inside a real world industry experience
42:54I get a chance to redeem myself
42:56we obviously just can't stop her from hanging herself
42:58I have an announcement to make and it's a very serious announcement
43:02there's some things going down that I just I want to know the truth
43:06it has been explicitly clear what we're can and can't do
43:12we have very clear and concise rules for our designers on Project Runway
43:18we're gonna have to ask you to leave
43:20visit bravo tv.com to learn more about the fashions you've seen on today's show
43:36you
