00:00Previously on Project Runway.
00:05Designers, look around you.
00:08This is where the final judging and elimination will take place.
00:12One designer will be cut every week until three remain.
00:16Those three will show their line at Olympus Fashion Week.
00:19Then one winner will be chosen.
00:21The winner will receive a spread in Elle Magazine,
00:24a mentorship with Banana Republic Design Team,
00:26and $100,000 to start their own line.
00:29The first challenge is about innovation.
00:32Welcome to your first challenge. These are your supplies.
00:39There. Done.
00:40Is Mario smarter than me because he bought a shower curtain
00:43and he made it in 15 minutes?
00:45My model's not here.
00:47Go to the street and go get a model.
00:49Excuse me.
00:50My agency just dropped me.
00:53Welcome to the runway, where your first challenge will be judged.
00:59You have made our decision.
01:09The winner is Austin.
01:12That means that you save for the next challenge.
01:15Wendy.
01:16I just wish I would have seen more clothes.
01:20I was standing up there with a garment that I actually did not feel I could defend.
01:24I don't want that to happen again, I'll tell you that.
01:27I didn't have any confidence in myself.
01:29I thought I was going to go home.
01:31Daniel is out.
01:41This is a search for the next big fashion designer.
01:44It's a cutthroat business.
01:45The competition was fierce.
01:47Twelve contestants, three finalists, and one winner.
01:52Three designers will make their runway debut at Olympus Fashion League.
01:56I plan to make it to Fashion League.
01:57I think I'll be number one.
01:58And the winner of Project Runway will receive everything they need to start their own label.
02:02I think I deserve to win.
02:04People are going to start getting pretty bitchy.
02:06Oh my.
02:07For these twelve contestants, Project Runway is the chance of a lifetime.
02:23I didn't have enough time to get to know Daniel.
02:25So when Daniel left, it was just kind of like, hey, see, I'm going back to L.A.
02:29Daniel is from a different planet maybe.
02:31The planet L.A.
02:32He always had like jazz fingers.
02:34Yes.
02:35This elimination will change everything.
02:40It is going to be tough this time around to see somebody else.
02:44At the last elimination, I thought I was going to be going home.
02:49I love fashion design and it just, it makes me so happy to do it.
02:53Since I've been here away from my job, I've had this opportunity to just think about what I'm doing with my life.
03:00I feel great and it is a relief to know that, you know, I will be immune, as they call it.
03:07For this next competition, I cannot be eliminated since I won the last.
03:13But I still want to win every competition.
03:16Are you all ready for your next challenge?
03:25Yes.
03:26Good.
03:27This challenge is all about vision.
03:29You will all start from the same place, plain, white, cotton.
03:35The official fabric of Project Runway.
03:38You will each work with a bolt of white cotton fabric to design an outfit.
03:42Your guiding inspiration for the design is one word.
03:46Envy.
03:47Envy.
03:49Of course, I immediately started to rack my brain for what on earth I should come up with or what envy meant to me.
03:56And your outfit must reflect this theme.
03:59You now know the challenge.
04:01Let's move on to the models.
04:03You know how important the model is.
04:05So you should pick the right model to get you through the next challenge.
04:09Let's bring out the models.
04:12It's really getting more important for Heidi to pull your name out of the bag first.
04:17Because everybody wants the same models.
04:19Martinique, Olga, and Melissa.
04:22But I would never choose Morgan again.
04:25I don't care how great she walked.
04:28She was three hours late.
04:30Morgan, this is really bad.
04:34I just want to say to the models that this is a competition for you as well.
04:38There's 12 models on stage now.
04:40And there are 11 designers left.
04:42One model will have to go.
04:45In the end, the model paired with the winner of Project Runway will receive an exclusive fashion spread in Elle magazine.
04:54Elle magazine is a huge magazine.
04:57That would be like a dream to be in it.
04:59Our last challenge was won by Austin.
05:02So Austin gets to pick his model first.
05:05This time, I think I would like to work with Martinique.
05:11I got Austin. I got Austin.
05:18The next one is Mario.
05:21Olga.
05:22She has this don't with me kind of attitude that I just love.
05:26Robert.
05:27That would be you, Melissa.
05:29I'm nervous. I was late.
05:32So, you know, designers think that I'm not going to be professional and they probably won't want to work with me.
05:38The next one is Wendy.
05:40Erin.
05:41Joy.
05:42Audrey.
05:43Next one to choose their model is Vanessa.
05:53I pick my big strong walker.
05:56Morgan.
06:02I chose Morgan.
06:03I don't care if she's late.
06:05She's really good on the runway.
06:07And she only has to get there two minutes before I need her.
06:11Jay.
06:14Eeny, meeny, miny, moe.
06:17Catch a model by the toe.
06:20Allison.
06:22Rock on.
06:24Kevin.
06:25Jenny.
06:27There's only one button left and that is Cara.
06:30And there's two models left on the stage.
06:33Josie Ann.
06:35And Mary.
06:37One will get eliminated.
06:39Cara.
06:41Good job, girl.
06:42Good job.
06:43Good job.
06:44I felt awkward standing up there and I just let it go and say I just wasn't right for that person.
07:02Sorry.
07:03You're out.
07:04Auf Wiedersehen.
07:05Good luck to all of you.
07:06Bye.
07:07Bye.
07:08Oh my God.
07:09It's okay.
07:10It's okay.
07:11It's okay.
07:12It's okay.
07:13You are amazing.
07:14Yeah.
07:15Oh my God.
07:16Y'all are making me cry.
07:17It's rough.
07:18Okay, I gave you a challenge.
07:19I wish you good luck.
07:20And I see you on the runway.
07:21Bye.
07:22Good morning everyone and welcome to your second challenge.
07:38What you see roaming around the room and wrapped around everything is cotton jersey.
07:43This fiber is your blank canvas.
07:46Heidi gave you the word envy.
07:48You need to be creative and think about how you can project envy into that canvas.
07:53We are very, very pleased to have Linda DeFranco who is the director of the trend forecasting
07:58for Cotton Incorporated here with us today.
08:01Linda, come in.
08:02Good morning everybody.
08:03Cotton is the perfect fiber to dye for color.
08:08So you can really morph it into anything that you choose.
08:11So I would definitely say good luck and I look forward to seeing the end product.
08:17All right everyone, grab your scissors, start cutting.
08:22I know everybody wants to do an equal amount of fabric.
08:25I have a small business in a small town in Virginia.
08:28I just don't have that many opportunities that are going to come to me like this.
08:33I think we should agree that everybody gets at least four and a half yards.
08:38Wendy's our den mother.
08:39If you have that calming agent in a group, it makes the whole group dynamic.
08:42A lot more unified.
08:44But we should get the people with short dresses to cut first.
08:48OK.
08:49It's 57 yards.
08:50Everything I do in this competition is strategic.
08:55I know that exploiting my role as a mother, it's kind of evil, truly.
09:01But if it's going to help me get to the end, you can believe that I'm going to do it.
09:06I need as much as I can get.
09:08You have until midnight tonight and you have two hours tomorrow.
09:17You've got to be kidding me, Tim.
09:18Can I have a few pages?
09:19After Tim met with us, he then said we were going to go on a field trip and we had $50 and one hour to buy everything we needed for this dress.
09:32OK.
09:33I'll take two yards.
09:36I need a light brown.
09:38Wow.
09:39My goal in Project Runway is to do the best that I can.
09:45Everybody wants to win, you know?
09:47I mean, it's a dream come true, really.
09:49All right.
09:50You know what?
09:51I'm going to buy more of this.
09:52What I want the most, other than doing really well in the competition, is to gain respect from the fashion world in the future.
10:00I'm trying to make like a blood splatter.
10:02A lot of us got dyes with which to dye the white cotton.
10:07Good luck.
10:14Dyeing the fabric took a very long time.
10:17I need to get my fabric in there.
10:20Well, you should have bought just plain water out here, then pour the dye safely in there.
10:25You have to carry it back.
10:26It's the same thing.
10:27No, it isn't because I just cut your chances.
10:29No.
10:30Yes, you did.
10:31You cut your chances in there.
10:32I think since the elimination, everyone's been really competitive.
10:37The stakes right now are really high, and I think that's one of the reasons that people are starting to get paranoid and delusional.
10:46Strange.
10:47Kevin was running around here.
10:49Someone took my black dye.
10:51That's Chase.
10:52Hey, did you see my dye?
10:53And he kind of like just blew me off.
10:55I didn't use it.
10:56I got my own black.
10:58If I used your black dye, my stuff would be black right now, not purple.
11:02It's impossible for me to have stolen your dye.
11:05You bitch.
11:07I didn't take the bitch's dye.
11:09That's for sure.
11:10More stuff.
11:11Coming up on Project Runway.
11:12I think things are changing.
11:13What's this feeling, Vanessa?
11:14Don't interview me.
11:15No, I feel like so right through my finger.
11:16The dye seemed to, like, mysteriously disappear.
11:17It was pretty stressful.
11:18Things are fine when, you know, when there's no pressure on or, like, when nothing's happening.
11:25Everybody's, like, the nicest person.
11:26But then when you're given a mission, people's true colors start to, um, to shine, you know,
11:35to come through.
11:36Mario, he's, like, the one I go to to kind of chill me out.
11:40He's very affectionate, very supportive.
11:56Kind of had a bond with him since the beginning.
11:57He's convinced I stole his dye.
12:00I'm not a liar.
12:01I'm not a stealer.
12:03But I want to be.
12:05I want to be.
12:06Why you try it?
12:07I'm not a liar, I'm not a stealer, but I want to be, and I want to play one on TV.
12:16Sweetie, it's right here.
12:17Awesome. Thank you.
12:19Great. Thank you.
12:21I just found it right here on the corner.
12:25He found it, yeah.
12:27Sorry, I said no.
12:30You're an asswipe.
12:37The challenge was to take white cotton and make anything we wanted to under the title of Envy.
12:46I tried to dig deeper and really think of something that would be relevant to women, and so I chose Pregnant Envy.
12:52I'm making a maternity gown.
12:55I would love to win. I think I deserve to win.
12:58I'm very skilled and I have everything that it takes to be one of the top designers in America today.
13:07The first thing that rose to my mind was the idea of the evil queen from Snow White.
13:16I think there is a little evil queen in all of us. I think I have a little evil queen inside me.
13:22I chose long, sleek, somewhat severe silhouette.
13:28I went a little bit abstract and I strategically placed cutouts in order to highlight little areas that people would be envious of.
13:42I'm really happy with this design because point comes across without writing envy across the front of it.
13:48I'm making like a jumpsuit. It's actually inspired by these models we're working with.
13:55It's going to have things handwritten all over it. Like, my agent told me I need to lose a sixteenth of an inch on my hip.
14:02And it's going to say, like, bitch. It's going to be like this walking social commentary on how these girls feel about themselves.
14:08I'm just going to have a plain white hoop dress. Keep it simple.
14:17I don't dwell on things too much. I don't premeditate. I just think, you know, what would be fun, what would be interesting.
14:23Some people are too serious about fashion.
14:25I struggle with envy a lot. I often find myself looking at other people who I think are more successful than me or that have skills that I don't have.
14:39Wendy told me the other night that when she thought of the word of envy, she thought of me.
14:44She has said to me, I have so many more chances in my life and this is her last chance.
14:55All right, guys. I'm done for tonight. I'll see you guys at the apartment.
15:02Bye, guys.
15:04Maro's garment is really simple. It's like one of the very first things you learn to make when you become a designer.
15:11If he doesn't pump it up a little bit, I don't think he's going to be here.
15:25Kara, how are you doing?
15:29So it's going to be long.
15:31Sugarbottom's going to be skirt shredded, like deconstructed, ferrying, civilized war.
15:38My father spent his whole career in the Air Force.
15:42That's how I came up with my theme for envy.
15:45Envy, it's destructive and it turns into eventually war.
15:50How are you feeling about the time constraint?
15:52I have to put a move on it, Ash.
15:53Okay. All right.
15:55Everyone, you have about an hour and a half tonight.
16:00You'll have two hours tomorrow.
16:04See you tomorrow.
16:05The physical act of sewing is extremely stressful.
16:14And we had to have the stroke of midnight until we had to finish.
16:19And I just think that factor put everything on edge.
16:22Ow.
16:24Chill out.
16:26No more negative energy.
16:28I can't chill.
16:29All right.
16:30Even myself was so rushed and frazzled that I ended up wounding myself.
16:35Are you okay?
16:36No, I feel like sewed right through my finger.
16:39The first aid.
16:40He broke the needle and everything.
16:42I've never, ever, ever had an accident like that.
16:44But I sewed right through.
16:45It was horrible.
16:47Ah!
16:56F***.
16:58Does anybody have anything to fill this with?
17:01Have anything to fill this with
17:15Being here it's not easy at all
17:18Okay, it's a competition, but it's it's being televised. It's like a out-of-body experience. I'm not amused by this
17:27It's not fun. It's stupid
17:36When do you don't interview me for the camera please I
17:41Have been unfolding a strategy I was going to get people to confide in me
17:47And I would make sure to be there if they seem to be in a weak spot
17:51Anything that I thought in later in the game I could use to my advantage if I needed to
17:57Get them out of my way
18:00Vanessa, why are you why is it you've decided not to be nice to me anymore?
18:05She pisses me off Vanessa. You don't think I'm worthy of you being nice to me?
18:09What have I done to you?
18:13I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you
18:16You just dismissed me
18:17I've never said anything to you except kind and caring and how are you and what can I do for you and you say
18:24Don't interview me
18:26Why are you laughing?
18:28I'm not laughing
18:30I
18:32Think things are changing because Wendy really believes that this is her only crack at fashion
18:37If you can't be strong you cannot be a fashion designer
18:44Wow after a day of sewing it's nice to come home
18:55Is this supposed to harden a little bit?
18:57Yeah, it'll dry and yeah sort of harden
18:59It feels like my face is shrinking
19:01Austin is a unique, unique individual
19:04I feel like I'm looking into a mirror right now
19:06He's a great great great individual great guy and stuff so there's like no way opposites attract
19:27Today's the day
19:28I'm not insecure about my design I'm insecure because you really don't know what the judges are looking for this week and what their moods are
19:36I feel very strong about my garment but everyone always gets uneasy on the day of elimination because you just never know
19:49I like the way the designs coming along and just press for time
19:52I'm worried I'm gonna get everything stitched on
19:55To me envy is saying something that you don't have but you want
20:00I barely made it last time
20:01So for me when I look around at the other contestants they're doing things that I'm envious of
20:07To me that that drives me
20:09Because I want to stay in the running till the very end
20:11Everybody get your garments and meet me outside
20:22Right now
20:24Interesting
20:26We thought we were supposed to be showing these designs on the runway in like an hour
20:30And now we don't know what's about to happen
20:38We weren't told where we were being taken we were just told to bring our garments
20:42We're sitting in the van and we're all guessing what are we gonna do here?
21:01None of the designers had any idea what was going on
21:03I know you're all wondering what we're doing here today
21:18Well fashion is a business
21:21It's about communicating your vision and more specifically about selling your vision
21:25And that's why we're here today
21:27Our host is Paul Berman
21:30He's going to tell you more about it
21:32Hi everyone
21:34Welcome to 30 Van Damme
21:35It's New York's most exclusive retail store dedicated to selling the work of America's best up-and-coming designers
21:40Today we'll be participating in the silent auction
21:43So shortly some of New York's most fashionable people will be coming to the store
21:47And they'll be bidding your garments in the silent auction
21:50So let's hope they bid a lot
21:51Tomorrow on the runway we will learn which garment received the highest bid
21:58That designer will be the winner of this challenge
22:05The rest of you will be judged on the runway according to the quality of your work
22:10And one of you will be out
22:12When it was revealed to market yourself and explain your vision
22:21I was looking for the exit
22:24I was kind of horrified at that because you know I'm making a maternity gown
22:29So unless somebody walks in who's bloody pregnant I'm completely screwed
22:34So good luck everybody come forward and find your name tag
22:43Marketing yourself is extremely important
22:47If you can't sell yourself like you believe it, who else is going to believe you?
22:51I used to sell cars, that wasn't very good but I used to do that, believe it or not
22:55So selling a dress shouldn't be a problem
22:58I'm Jesus, I couldn't have picked a better day to be like the king of the world
23:02I'm going to just rock on and be Jesus, you know
23:06And freak out these ladies with twin sets on, I can't wait for that part
23:10Hello
23:15Where are my designers?
23:17Wow
23:19Nice
23:21Well, this is a real store
23:24And there are some real people out there
23:26So let's let them in
23:28The store is open
23:29Look
23:31I don't think that they can see it properly
23:33People just walk straight past
23:34So I have to stop grabbing it
23:36Can I show you mine?
23:37Sure
23:38Come with me
23:40Who wants to talk to Jesus?
23:42Okay, fashion people, put out the dollars, the checks, the credit cards, and bid for your favorite designer
23:58You gotta use your smile, you know?
24:01No
24:04Me and Alexandra, she would draw all the men in and I would try to draw all the women in
24:08And we would try to exchange them
24:10And your name?
24:11Nicky
24:12Nicky, pleasure to meet you
24:13Rob had about 20 women over at his outfit and none of them were looking at the outfit
24:17What you see is what you get
24:19That could be arranged
24:20Well, it was funny that today's challenge was about envy because I felt like I was experiencing a lot of envy today
24:30When I was looking around and I was seeing Alexandra and Rob, you know, they're very young and they're very attractive
24:36And they seem to have a way about them that is very magnetic
24:41I became really anxious
24:46I'm your favorite bidder, I have to get me stressed
24:48I know, I hope you get it, seriously
24:54A lot of designers chose to do sort of the object of envy, I wanted to do sort of envy personified
25:01This is a wonderful piece, huh?
25:02Thank you so much
25:03Something very special
25:04Number one, surprise
25:05Oh, wow
25:07Gosh, I really appreciate that
25:12The concept is envy, so what I'm trying to convey is that they're sort of like tumors
25:18Wow
25:24Where are these ladies?
25:30Why are you people looking at this stuff?
25:31I think this is just wonderful, very very creative, thank you very much
25:44Vote for Jamesus
25:45Okay, vote for Jamesus
25:46Vote for Jamesus
25:47Hi everybody, I just want to let you know that we've got about a minute left to put in those bids and support these fabulous designers
25:59This showed up my weakness, okay? Marketing and promotion is my weakness and I don't like my weaknesses to be on display
26:16I don't
26:22None of us do, but that's
26:24Barron all here
26:26I just know not to ever dress as Jesus for something like this again
26:35Because people are thrown off by religious icons
26:38They do not want to talk to Jesus
26:40I should have at least come as one of the apostles
26:42Good morning everyone
26:53Good morning Tim
26:54Good morning Tim
26:55We have just a few hours ahead of us before we have our runway judging
26:59And you all have a lot to do
27:01Your models need to go to the L'Oreal hair and makeup rooms to get prepped for the show
27:05Do any alterations that you need on your clothes
27:08And get everything ready
27:10There are 11 of you now
27:11This evening there will be 10
27:14So, good luck to all of you
27:16And I'll see you on the runway
27:18And then when you give the finger at the end
27:47Give them your tongue ring
27:48Go like
27:49And then walk off
27:50Can I have everyone's attention?
27:53Alright
27:54You're ready to rock?
27:55Coming up on Project Runway
28:00Your work looks a little unfinished to me
28:03You're like talking a good game
28:05But I don't see it realized
28:07And now the winner
28:09The winner of the silent auction
28:17Welcome back everyone to the runway
28:20As you all know
28:21Fashion can be a real bitch sometimes
28:23And it really
28:24It's all about being in
28:26Or being out
28:28Austin
28:29You won last week's challenge
28:30So you will not be out this week
28:32But you're still eligible to win this challenge
28:36Your challenge was to take plain white cotton
28:38And use the word envy
28:40As a theme for your design
28:41Then we ask you to sell that vision
28:43And the winner of this last challenge
28:45Is the one who had the highest bid
28:47At our silent auction
28:49The winner then also
28:50Will have an automatic in
28:52On the next challenge
28:54And one of you
28:56Will be out
28:58And the judges for today
29:00Are
29:01We have Nina Garcia
29:02She's the fashion director of Elle Magazine
29:04We have Paul Berman
29:06From 30 Van Damme
29:07And also we have Constance White
29:09She's a fashion journalist
29:11And the style director for eBay
29:14Our judges will be scoring you
29:15On their originality of your design
29:18Its wearability
29:19And the concept
29:21Let's start the show
29:22I don't feel I would be eliminated
29:36But you never know
29:37The judges might think completely different
29:52My envy was
29:53Leg envy
29:54When I looked at Heidi
29:55She was a supermodel
29:56And she has great legs
30:11I wanted the dress to exude envy
30:15I have a snake coming right down at the base of her back
30:19To symbolize that envy will always bite you in the ass
30:35I mean I did what I wanted
30:36And at the end of the day I'm happy
30:39All the other people seem to like what I've done
30:42I don't think I'll get eliminated
30:43I worked a little bit with Martinique
30:50To get the slinky liquid wok
30:55She got it
31:06I really liked my concept
31:08And what I chose
31:09Because it's so dear to me
31:10I would love for my family to see it
31:13And know that I'm thinking of them
31:25I really loved my idea
31:27But you know
31:28On a runway
31:29The judges might be instantly put off
31:31By the fact it's for a pregnant woman
31:32I'm not sure
31:33My confidence in the garment that I've made
31:48Has escalated to a point where
31:50I think that I could win
31:52My inspiration was Venus, the goddess of beauty
32:05And the colors green and gold
32:07Because those colors signify envy
32:10And this time I feel like I was able to take the concept
32:14And work with it
32:15And make it something that has the concept
32:18But is also wearable
32:19And make it something that has the concept
32:20But is also wearable
32:21into something that has the concept, but is also wearable.
32:40Nina gave a shot and somewhat offended facial expression.
32:45I'm not going to apologize for it.
32:46I never apologize for my work.
32:49Will the designers please take the stage?
32:57We've tallied your scores.
32:59When I do say your name, please step forward.
33:09Mario.
33:15Star.
33:20Nora.
33:27Cara.
33:37Wendy.
33:38Robert.
33:46The designers' names I did not call.
33:48Your scores have qualified you to stay in for the next challenge.
33:52Please lead for the runway.
33:54You're in.
33:55All remaining designers here on the stage represent the worst and the best.
34:10Let's bring out the models.
34:12Mario, can I ask you, how does this represent Envy for you?
34:24Getting to know each one of these models, they're very nice to each other, but at times they can
34:29also be very catty, calculated and competitive.
34:32And I was with one of the girls backstage, I won't say which one, but we were flipping through a magazine.
34:39And she was commenting, oh, I slept with this one's boyfriend.
34:42Oh, this one has bad acne.
34:44So that's why I incorporated the red beading.
34:48Like, you know, they were envious of her beauty.
34:50So they killed her.
34:51Robert.
34:52Yes.
34:53Uh, where is Envy in your outfit?
34:54They came up with, this is a penis Envy.
34:55And to be honest with you, my mother wears the pants in the family.
34:58She actually has the balls in the family.
34:59I like your detailing.
35:00I like your cut and the fit, and I think that's very important.
35:02Wendy, I was wondering if part of your design was this unfinished effect.
35:05I felt like that.
35:06Well, she did.
35:07She did.
35:08She did.
35:09She did.
35:10She did.
35:11She did.
35:12She did.
35:13She did.
35:14She did.
35:15She did.
35:16She did.
35:17She did.
35:18She did.
35:19She did.
35:20I felt your work looks a little unfinished to me.
35:24She...
35:25And I didn't understand whether this was part of your design process or this is just the
35:29way it is.
35:30Because the previous challenge, I also felt you were a little bare, so...
35:37She, for me, represents the goddess of envy.
35:40And so wherever she goes, she spreads envy because of the bareness of the dress in the back.
35:47For me, you're like talking a good game.
35:49Yeah.
35:50I agree.
35:51But...
35:52I don't see it realized.
35:54This just feels not well executed.
35:58Star, tell us where the envy is in your dress.
36:04I see you've used a lot of green.
36:06I started thinking about it in a very negative way.
36:08Like, as if it's a cancer that once it gets in you, it sort of goes through your blood to
36:12where you're almost like taken over by the disease.
36:15Now, did you think that that was going to be possibly difficult to sell at the silent auction
36:19when you started describing cancer to people?
36:23This is something that needs to be something beautiful because that's ultimately your goal.
36:32Kara, I want to know what you were thinking.
36:36What is envious about this?
36:38Envy turns into greed and greed turns into destruction and war.
36:44And so that's how I came up with the sort of military thing.
36:49Great.
36:51Um...
36:52Nora.
36:53Hi.
36:54Tell me about envy here.
36:56Um, basically, I wanted to show through the sheerness like some parts of the body in which people envy.
37:03The dress as a whole I find to be as simplistic as your explanation.
37:08I don't know.
37:09I was expecting more from you.
37:13Okay, models and designers, you can leave the runway.
37:22And we have a little chat.
37:26Let's check.
37:29Who do we hate?
37:31Well, there was Star.
37:34Star, I felt had, you know, I really felt the emotion in those clothes.
37:39It definitely looked like cancer.
37:41There was something...
37:42Yes, it did look like cancer.
37:44Wendy's felt unfinished to me.
37:51An unacceptable work.
37:53Unacceptable.
37:54I felt the first time that she delivered no clothes.
37:57You know, just a bikini bottom.
37:59I felt like she didn't really put work in there.
38:03She made mention that she didn't like my thing last week.
38:06And she said she didn't like it this week.
38:08I think Nora's dress, I think it lacked a bit of personality though.
38:19Mario's got this small little outfit and there's not much substance there.
38:23He only made this tube that was from here to here.
38:26The dress was not sexy.
38:28Mario's dress was not sexy.
38:29The girl was sexy.
38:30No, but seriously, I need everybody's numbers
38:32because I'm scared that I might be like...
38:34You want to be voted, guys?
38:35Hopefully, though, give me like a second to see you guys
38:38and just like take me away from the herd really quick.
38:42I just want to get...
38:43Did you shave your lines?
38:44So you guys want to know who had the highest bid?
38:46Please tell us.
38:47Yes.
38:48I'm not surprised.
38:49I'm not surprised either.
38:50I guess we know we're in the right track.
38:51We're not that far off.
38:52No.
38:53No.
38:54No.

39:13No.
39:14No.
39:15No.
39:16No.
39:17And that's why we're in the right track.
39:18We're not that far off.
39:19No.
39:20No.
39:21So let's spread the news.
39:22No.
39:23No.
39:24No.
39:25No.
39:26No.
39:27No.

39:38now this is the hardest part in fashion you either in or you're out there are
39:46six of you left one of you will be the winner and one of you will be out Robert
39:57you in you can leave the runway star you in you can leave the runway and now the
40:21winner the winner of the silent auction is Cara son your dress received a bid of four hundred and
40:32five dollars you have an automatic in for the next challenge you can leave the runway I was
40:41ecstatic I was happy I really was cuz I love the dress and I feel great about winning the challenge
40:46because of course you get the end for the next challenge and it puts you one step closer to the
40:52final three now it's down to three and the judges felt that you three were the weakest
41:04Nora you're in for them to tell me that I was one of the weakest after going from one of the best
41:20the week before that was rough
41:42Wendy while your design had vision it looked completely unfinished
41:50Mario you didn't put in enough effort and your design was too simple
41:55and you received the lowest bid at the silent auction
41:58Wendy
42:01you're in
42:05that means Mario out
42:12it was an amazing experience for me it was definitely a test of strength and I think I'll take that with me that and my 11 roommates
42:31I couldn't believe my little buddy was gone I have not cried like that in years decades even
42:46it kind of felt like it felt like a death in the family
42:48it kind of felt like a death in the family
42:51I do what I like
42:56I like to be outrageous I like to be crazy and I think that had a lot to do
43:02with my elimination
43:13but I feel that everybody should stand firm in what they do
43:19good or bad they're your choices and you have to deal with that
43:24next on project one way
43:27now that we know how everything works around here that's only going to get worse
43:30Jesus Christ Rob how are you gonna take?
43:48you start looking at people as be weak when you started not like them as much
43:50say it to my face Kevin
43:52say what?
43:53I do not like them as much.
43:55Say it to my face, Kevin.
43:56Say what?
43:58.
43:59She's having a new breakdown.
44:01Each time you go into the next challenge,
44:03it raises the stakes.
44:04And it's only going to get more cutthroat,
44:07people bitching at each other.
44:09I'm frightened.
44:10I really am.
44:11Go ahead, man!
44:13I can handle my liquor, you know?
44:14Some people can't.
44:20Can I get everyone to gather around, please?
44:23A letter has been delivered.
44:24The stakes rose a million percent.
44:27I was saying, oh , oh , oh .
