Clams Masala is a tasty, easy and quick Maharashtrian main course recipe where clams (tisrya) are cooked in onion, tomato and aromatic spices. The dish is served with bhakri or roti in Karwar.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp Oil 1/4th inch Ginger 4-5 Garlic cloves 2 Onions, chopped 1 Tomato, chopped 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder 1 Cup Khube (Clams) 3 tbsp Grated fresh Coconut Coriander Leaves Salt to taste
Method:
- In a pan heat some oil. - Add half crushed coriander - ginger - garlic. - Then add chopped onion and tomato. Give a stir. - Then add red chilli powder and mix well. - Add khube (clams) and again mix well. - Then add grated coconut, salt and coriander leaves. Mix well. - Let it cook for 5 minutes. Once it becomes dry the dish is ready. - Serve Khubhyal Sukka with roti or bhakri.
