Makar Sankranti is a major harvest festival celebrated in various parts of India and to celebrate this festival we are the making the most loved and most cooked recipe of Til Chikki. It is a popular Indian Sweet enjoyed during winter months especially during festival of Lohri and Makar Sakranti.
Ingredients: - 11/2 cup of Sesame Seeds - 4tsp of Ghee - 3/4th cup of Jaggery - 1 tbsp of milk - 4 powder of cardamom pods
Method - Roast sesame seeds on low flame for 4-5 minutes - Allow them to cool down for a bit - In a pan add ghee, jaggery and milk - Add the roasted sesame seed into the pan and add cardamom powder - Mix until all the sesame seeds are coated with jaggery - Put the mixture in a tray with baking parchment & level the surface - Before the mixture cools down, cut it into square shape
