"Learn how to make South Indian Filter Coffee. South Indian coffee, also known as filter coffee is a sweet milky coffee made from dark roasted coffee beans. Its popular in the southern states of India. Its made typically in a Coffee Brewing Utensil which is a metal device that resembles two cylindrical cups, one of which has a pierced bottom that nests into the top of the tumbler cup, which leaves enough space underneath to receive the brewed coffee. The upper cup has two removable parts: a pierced pressing disc with a central stem handle, and a covering lid. Its simple to make and easy to brew home made filter coffee.
Ingredients: 3/4th cup Water 1 tbsp coffee Sugar Milk
Method: - Heat the water in a Pan - Meanwhile in a south Indian coffee maker, pour the coffee on the upper part of the maker. - Pour half the quantity of boiling water on the upper part of the south Indian Coffee maker - Let the concoction be collected in the chamber below. - In the meantime, heat the water again by adding milk and sugar to it and stir till the sugar gets dissolved. - Pour the coffee concoction in a cup - Add milk, water & sugar mixture in the same cup and its ready to be served hot
