00:01Previously on Project Runway.
00:03You will be creating a design inspired by your heritage.
00:07Really make it matter.
00:08This challenge is the perfect opportunity to show yourself.
00:11Pick up!
00:12Mommy!
00:14Help me, help me.
00:15Okay.
00:16That's getting Christmas-y.
00:17Yeah.
00:18I hate prints.
00:19Why is this not turning out?
00:20I feel defeated by this fabric.
00:23I look at this, I see an homage to a menstrual cycle.
00:26Can't believe Tim said that.
00:28She looks like a Hawaiian airline hostess.
00:33With that print, Pac-Man is eating her crotch.
00:35Dimitri, you are the winner of this challenge.
00:37We loved your jacket and how beautifully it showed off your print.
00:40Then, you gave us something that we've seen from you time, time again.
00:44Gunnar, your jacket was poorly designed.
00:47You're out.
00:48I gave it my best effort.
00:50And that's winning for me.
00:53Welcome to Season 10 of Project Runway.
00:56The winner of Project Runway will receive $50,000 in technology and office space from HP and Intel to bring their creativity to life and run their business.
01:05A fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine.
01:08A 2013 Lexus GS 350.
01:11$100,000 from L'Oreal Paris to start their own line.
01:14And the chance to design and sell an exclusive collection at Lord & Taylor.
01:19The model paired with the winner of Project Runway will receive a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine and $25,000 from L'Oreal Paris Ever Style.
01:28We're all meeting Tim at this unknown location.
01:35And we're approaching Radio City Music Hall.
01:39And I am like, oh my God, I hope we're going in here.
01:43I am in heaven when I see Radio City Music Hall.
01:56It's somewhere I've always wanted to go in my life and I've never been to.
01:59So it was like a dream come true.
02:01I see Tim.
02:02I see all these Rockettes.
02:03It is a wow moment.
02:06Designers, it is my honor to introduce you to the Rockettes.
02:10Ladies, take it away.
02:19Pow!
02:20Rockettes!
02:26Wow.
02:29Center, first row, watching the Rockettes.
02:32There's nothing better than that.
02:35I'm dying!
02:41I need my inhaler.
02:42I can't breathe.
02:53Yes!
02:55It is a surprise to see Heidi in her little green dress.
02:59Hi, designers!
03:00And the way she moves.
03:02Oh, baby!
03:03How thrilling is this?
03:04Hi, Heidi!
03:05Hi!
03:06This is very exciting!
03:07Mwah!
03:08You guys get to design a new costume for the Rockettes.
03:09And the winning designer's costume will be produced and worn by the Rockettes in one of their future shows.
03:23Can you believe this?
03:24No!
03:25How thrilling!
03:26No!
03:27Nope!
03:28Well, designers, in order for you to better understand the particulars of this challenge,
03:32Heidi and I want you to meet the director and choreographer of the Rockettes, Linda Haberman.
03:38And Linda has an extensive background and she was an assistant choreographer for the renowned theatre and dance icon, Bob Fosse.
03:46Isn't that amazing?
03:47Wow!
03:48Isn't that amazing?
03:49It is!
03:50So Linda, we're so thrilled to be in your home!
03:52Oh, you're welcome!
03:53First of all, I want to say how excited we are to have you guys here.
03:57As you probably know, the Rockettes star in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, which appears here every year right on this stage.
04:06But they also do lots of special events throughout the year.
04:10And that's what we want you to design a new look for and something that is versatile enough that they can wear it year-round.
04:18I'm nervous. I have never made a dance costume in my life.
04:21And you also have to think about all the people that are far, far away in the balcony, right?
04:26So it has to be spectacular up close, but also for people, you know, who have tickets very far away.
04:31So when you're conceiving of your design, think about the glamour and elegance of this environment.
04:36At the same time, the Rockettes are performing in front of a contemporary audience.
04:40So we want you to embrace a modern aesthetic.
04:43I am so excited for this challenge!
04:45I know!
04:46So designers, you have a lot of work to do, so we're going to say goodbye to Heidi and the Rockettes.
04:51Thank you all so much!
04:52Have fun, design away, and I'll see you back on the runway.
04:55Hi!
04:57Hi!
04:58Whoopsie!
05:01So you have 30 minutes to sketch here.
05:04We want you to examine the costumes that are on the dress forms and really learn from them, okay?
05:11Your 30 minutes to sketch starts right now!
05:14Hi!
05:15The construction is serious.
05:16The beading, obviously, was beautiful.
05:17You know, that was really great to see, but now I'm going to take that and take it to the next level and make something that's very modern.
05:33Elena, did you see these shoulder pads?
05:36I want to give them a little bit more sex appeal, but, like, maybe in a more athletic way.
05:42My wheels are turning.
05:43I know how to put a dance costume together.
05:44I've done it before.
05:45It has to be functional, and it has to be something really eye-catching.
05:49Designers, sketching time is up, so let's head off to mood.
05:56How amazing is that?
05:57I need a tough-ass zipper.
06:10All right, designers, one minute remains, and one minute everyone needs to be at the counter ready to pay.
06:19Time is up. Everyone needs to be at the counter, please.
06:24All right, designers, let's head back to the work room.
06:28Thank you, mood.
06:33All right, designers, you have today and all day tomorrow for this challenge, and today you have until 7.30.
06:43Because you're going out for a lovely dinner.
06:48We're celebrating our final seven.
06:50It's going to be a really nice break from sewing till 11 o'clock at night and going home, eating cold food, and then going to bed.
06:57This is going to be so fun. I'm so excited.
06:59I'll see you tomorrow.
07:00This is just crazy.
07:02This is going to be the death of me. I mean, mine is going to look like a ice skating outfit.
07:07So what are you doing? I saw your color, but what are you doing with it?
07:18I just wanted something that reads strongly, so I'm keeping, like, modern lines.
07:22I think the trick is not to over-embellish.
07:25Are you sure?
07:26I just feel like only has to look good from far away, not up close.
07:30Which is why I'm keeping the clean lines on the front and the back neck lines.
07:34It's going to be good to, like, get out and not think about these dresses because I think that everyone's stressing at some level.
07:49It's a lot of fun just, like, sitting down and having some food and drinking some wine and just talking about anything other than this competition for a change.
07:56I wish I had a more time in mood.
08:06Tomorrow, all day tomorrow.
08:10More time in mood, I said.
08:12I wish that instead of dinner, we were just working later and I was just, you know, really getting a head start on this outfit.
08:19Because it's hard to get in the groove.
08:21All right, you guys. Cheers.
08:22Good luck, everyone.
08:23Cheers.
08:24Cheers.
08:25Lucky seven.
08:26Lucky seven.
08:27Lucky seven.
08:28Lucky seven.
08:29Lucky seven.
08:30Lucky seven.
08:31So we walk into the work room and I feel like everyone is so off their game.
08:43A lot of them are looking really generic, costumey, not even dancey sometimes.
08:49I don't know who's going to be in the bottom and who's safe.
08:52Melissa is crazy.
09:09Her dress has 18 pattern pieces.
09:12That's insane.
09:13How is everyone?
09:14Good.
09:15Really?
09:16No.
09:17Well, I'm here to check in with all of you.
09:18Okay?
09:19Okay.
09:20All right.
09:21I can read you across the room.
09:34You seem very disabled.
09:36Yeah.
09:37What's going on, Sanjay?
09:38I started playing around with the bottom part and I made the skirt with the feathers and
09:43now I'm just like trying to find a way to make this top.
09:46What's the neckline way to be like?
09:48I don't know.
09:49This is why you make me so nervous.
09:53You don't know.
09:55Look where we are time-wise into this challenge.
09:57I know.
09:58You really don't know what you're going to do with it.
10:00Start cutting.
10:01All right.
10:02All right.
10:03Coming up on Project Runway.
10:08Yikes.
10:09It's a short dress.
10:11What's the impact?
10:12Bitch slap that bitch.
10:13I know I will, Tim.
10:15I can't even believe that I'm saying this.
10:17AKA, you're all .
10:24That's some stare, Elena.
10:27You said something to me at Mood.
10:29You said that the contents of the Mood shopping bag looked like a band uniform.
10:34It did.
10:35Yeah.
10:36And it does.
10:37Yeah.
10:38So is this a self-fulfilled prophecy?
10:39Because I feel like you should go to the Lord and Taylor accessory wall and look for
10:42a baton.
10:43What's it like in the back?
10:46Yikes.
10:47Well, at least it's a 360-degree experience.
10:51Do exactly what you were doing when I arrived at your table.
10:54Stare at this and figure it out.
10:56Okay.
10:59Dimitri, you've done a lot of work.
11:01Well, I'm trying to keep the simple geometry, but give it a little bit more kind of wow factor.
11:08Well, you want a wow factor.
11:10Why are you not building up the skirt more?
11:12With more fringe?
11:13I will definitely add it.
11:14Okay.
11:15Thank you, Tim.
11:16Thanks, Dimitri.
11:18Fabio.
11:19Hi, Tim.
11:20How are you?
11:21The sequins being a bitch to me.
11:23Why do you feel that way?
11:25Just because it's a hard material to work with.
11:27I couldn't work with it whole.
11:29I would have to cut it up.
11:30Can you just pin up one layer of sequins over some of the illusion?
11:36Yeah.
11:37Left side versus right side.
11:38Mm-hmm.
11:39It's no contest.
11:40Yeah, no.
11:41Not to me either.
11:42So in a way, it's good that that bitch was fighting me.
11:44Well, yeah.
11:45Yeah.
11:46Bitch slap that bitch.
11:47I know.
11:48I will, Tim.
11:49Yeah.
11:50Hi, Christopher.
11:52How are you?
11:53Talk to me.
11:54It's the New York City skyline and fringe for the bottom so that they can move.
11:59Is that the length of the skirt?
12:01It's super short.
12:02It's like crotch exposing.
12:04I just don't think this wants to be fringed.
12:06Thank you, Christopher.
12:07Thank you very much.
12:08See you soon.
12:09You will.
12:10How are you, Melissa?
12:11I'm just worried that I don't have enough sequins and I have to do a lot of hand-beating.
12:14So I want it to be strong enough from afar.
12:16Where are you placing them?
12:17Through here on these lines.
12:19And what about this?
12:21Anything that speeds up this process so you don't have to do everything by hand.
12:25I don't know if this is enough.
12:27Mine just has no sequins or shine whatsoever.
12:30It just looks completely different than anything in a room right now.
12:34I guess I just have to trust my gut and just move forward.
12:39How are you, Ben?
12:40Hey, Tim.
12:41How are you?
12:42Talk to me.
12:43What's going on?
12:44You know, I really thought about it compared to previous challenges.
12:45It's a different approach with the direction and the color that you don't usually see.
12:48So this is seam allowance?
12:49Yeah, this is just extra.
12:51Is there a possibility of keeping this effect?
12:55You don't want to.
12:57I wasn't intentionally...
12:59It gives it some detail that the garment's not going to have otherwise.
13:04And then what is it?
13:06It's just a short dress.
13:09What's the impact?
13:10You know?
13:11Like right now I'm thinking, I may keep here, I may not.
13:14Think about this very thoughtfully.
13:16Designers, can I have your attention, please?
13:19I am deeply concerned about your resources and I'm going to add this.
13:23Each and every one of you needs to proceed with more of a sense of urgency.
13:29There's seven of you left and the win for this is huge.
13:34It's a big, big, big challenge.
13:37I want you to succeed.
13:39So, I can't even believe that I'm saying this.
13:43Oh God.
13:45We're going back to mood.
13:47You have $100 to spend and 15 minutes to shop.
13:51All right?
13:52And we're going now.
13:53AKA, you're all .
13:55Change all your fabrics.
13:57Get in the van.
13:59I have a question.
14:00Yes, by of you.
14:01I am pretty satisfied with the fabrics that I got before.
14:04Can I stay behind and work?
14:06You may stay behind.
14:07Does anyone else want to stay?
14:08I'm going to stay.
14:09You're going to stay?
14:10Then...
14:15You can get some more stuff.
14:18Yes, you can.
14:23Can I get two years of that?
14:28Designers, you have one minute remaining.
14:30A minute.
14:31You need to be here to check out.
14:34Thank you again, Mood.
14:35Thank you so much, Mood.
14:48You like it?
14:49Yes.
14:50I knew it was going to be small.
14:52I am still very behind on this garment.
14:55Then I'm thinking, I have a lot to take in on her in the back.
15:01I don't know how I'm pulling off this one.
15:02At this point, I'm freaking out because I don't have a top for her to wear.
15:06But I didn't come this far just to say, oh, well, I give up.
15:09Good luck.
15:11Bye.
15:12It's so hard to be in a situation and to go through constantly what you're going through on a day-to-day basis.
15:19Because it's hard being away from your friends and family and boyfriend.
15:24Hey.
15:25Hi.
15:26Hey, babe.
15:27What's up?
15:28Good.
15:29How are you?
15:30I'm good.
15:31How about you?
15:32Stressing out.
15:33Most stressed out I've been since I've been here.
15:36You know, regardless of what, you know, what comes out of this, you know, you don't disappoint anybody.
15:42I mean, we're like, so excited and so happy for you.
15:46I miss you.
15:48Oh, I miss you too, baby.
15:50Nah, I love you.
15:51I love you too.
15:52I'll talk to you soon.
15:53Alright, alright.
15:54Mwah.
15:55Thank you, babe.
15:56Alright, bye.
15:57Bye-bye.
15:58Talking to him definitely made me put things into perspective and remember why I'm here and what I'm fighting for.
16:05Oh, hey guys, I think it's 11 o'clock.
16:13Gotta get out.
16:14Nightmare.
16:15Come on.
16:16Come on.
16:17Come on.
16:18Coming up on Project Runway.
16:23Oh my God, my zipper just flew off.
16:26How am I gonna get her in this dress?
16:27I don't have time to sew in another invisible zipper.
16:30Oh my God, there's another one falling off.
16:32Holy moly, I might go home for this.
16:34We are going down to the runway right now.
16:37This is not good.
16:49I'm excited.
16:50I think it's definitely gonna read well.
16:53So three in the top, three in the bottom, one safe?
16:56Yeah, I'm not, I don't have high hopes for this either.
16:58Pick up your arm as much as you can.
17:03It's okay, I put, oh no.
17:05What happened?
17:06It rift.
17:07I'll just sew it quick.
17:08Don't worry about it.
17:09Good morning, designers.
17:10How is everyone?
17:11Good.
17:12You have two hours to send your models to the L'Oreal Paris hair and makeup room.
17:14And to prep your models for the runway.
17:15All right, work hard.
17:16All right, work hard.
17:17Wow.
17:18Wow.
17:19I want to keep it very clean.
17:20I want to keep it very clean.
17:21I want to keep it very clean.
17:22It's okay.
17:23It's okay.
17:24I put, oh no.
17:25What happened?
17:26It rift.
17:27I just sew it quick.
17:28Don't worry about it.
17:29It rift.
17:30Let me see a logo.
17:47I want to keep it very slick.
17:50DR.
17:51So to get the shine you want, what I'm going to do is use the Evers donc Smoothen Shine
17:54sunshine cream and serum if you do it from the front it's going to look more
18:00like a look more like a turban yeah I like that so this is the fabric and I
18:10really want to focus to be the eyes start with a highlight right in the
18:13center and then fade it out to a color oh this perfect this is the color of the
18:19sequin and this is the feathers with it I think now is the time to break out the
18:25infallible shadows I love combining these making beautiful peacock eyes oh my god
18:34my zipper just flew off the whole thing came off how am I gonna get her in this
18:40dress I don't have time to sew in another invisible zipper then stress is for a
18:47lack of a better word under design and how can you do like a like a spin like a
18:52yeah it's gonna look so beautiful with the light and stuff I heard it splitting
18:59guys I have to sew it her into this dress the zipper in the back oh my gosh you
19:05can see that oh my god there's another one falling off come here I'm feeling very
19:14nervous you know it hits me right then and there holy moly I might go home for
19:19this designers and models we are going down to the runway right now thank you
19:28you're set I'm still feeling uncertain about my look I mean I think she looks
19:33super cute but they're gonna either love it or hate it thank you very much all
19:38right that's it
19:44hello welcome to the runway as you know in fashion one day you're in and the next
19:53day you're out there are seven of you here and after tonight there will be six
19:57for this challenge we asked you to create a costume for the legendary Rockettes
20:01wasn't it amazing to have a private performance just for us at Radio City
20:06Music Hall yes they even invited me to do a little dance with them I loved it I
20:11had so much fun the winning designer will have their costume reproduced for the
20:16Rockettes to wear in a future performance this is a huge payoff so I hope you
20:22blow us away you had two days and 250 dollars to put your costumes together I
20:26know Tim also gave you a second mood trip and $100 to make sure that you could
20:32really amp up your designs and I'm very excited to see what you've put together
20:36okay let's meet the judges first we have CFD a lifetime achievement award winner
20:41Michael course everyone fashion director for Marie Claire magazine Nina Garcia and
20:48our guest judge for today Emmy award-winning actress and star of smash
20:53Debra missing hi we will score your designs as they come down the runway one
21:00of you will be named the winner and one of you will be out let's start the show
21:07I love it the beaded French moving like there is no tomorrow and it looks very
21:21expensive and very sharp it's modern it's clean it's elegant and it's very very glamorous
21:37how did I not see that I had color-blocked in black sequence a number one across her chest
21:49I just think this is the funniest thing I've ever designed in my life
21:57I definitely like the way it looks it definitely reads strong it has great movement
22:13the fabric reads so strong from a distance
22:23when she comes out on the runway I realized just how many sparkles they put on the outfit in the
22:36workroom it doesn't look as shiny it looks so overwhelming and it just started worrying me even more
22:53I am so proud to put my name on it it's everything that I wanted it to look like and more
23:06I'm so excited I hope that they love it she's too cute
23:10I am slightly concerned for myself
23:19I'm wondering are the judges gonna think she looks like a big purple bird
23:29but will they think she looks hey this nice elegant feathered beautiful woman who knows
23:35I am about to jump out my chair right now because it looks amazing I love the way that it's shimmering
23:50but it looks fluid
23:57the skirt has a lot of movement when they kick that skirt is gonna go flying in the air
24:11so
24:13Fabio congratulations your scores have qualified you to move on to the next round
24:19you can leave the runway thank you pleasure to meet you nice to meet you
24:23the rest of you have the highest and the lowest scores
24:30one of you will be named the winner and one of you will be out
24:36all right let's bring out your models
24:51Sanji tell us about your look I just wanted to create something really fun and flirty and slightly different than probably what they normally were
24:58yeah that's it when I think of the Rockettes it has to be like wow showstopper
25:04you can make it really magical and I don't have that with this
25:08she's completely covered up does the skirt give when she moved
25:12you know I sold in the shorts and I made sure that
25:15so it is not a skirt it's shorts or they're shorts under it so she can move she can flex
25:20she can bend she looks very boxy she does not look like like a sexy woman
25:25can we have a look at the back again I think for practical reasons your costume might be a little difficult
25:35she can kick she can kick baby girl yeah but feathers are very fragile
25:39it's like a little purple bird I just think that functionally that might be very hard for somebody that has
25:45twice a day wear this costume I've worn a gown with feathers before they fall off just walking and
25:52just sitting and eating they fall off just sitting so a molting you know group of Rockettes is not really something that would be great
26:00this costume has no movement it doesn't come off glam enough for the stage I think it comes off more cocktail than costume
26:10Dimitri tell us about your look I wanted to create something a bit more modern a bit more athletic but still glamorous at the same time
26:18I love it I love it too
26:24this looks very different than anything else they've danced in before I think it's very edgy
26:30I love blue and black together I love the lines that you gave her
26:34I always love a fringe especially like a beaded fringe because it moves I think it's amazing
26:38can I see the back one more time it's beautiful how the stripes you know the lines kind of just hug her behind
26:44I think you did a great job thank you exciting polished
26:50impeccably made can I still tell who designed it it looks like you you didn't get lost in the challenge
26:58the attention to detail is perfect I mean it looks like a couture quality garment I think it would be a
27:04really new modern take for the Rockettes thank you I love the choice of color I love the fact that it's bare yet covered up I think the fact that it moves is very important and it's modern chic
27:22thank you thank you Ben tell us about your look I wanted to create a silhouette that read far from a distance and I call it that was unexpected
27:28so I found a netting that from far away it looks like glass so I just wanted to do something that was interesting when she turns around because you do a lot of spins
27:36so it's modern and classic at the same time I think that the fabric is really nice
27:40but I think that it has no design to it I think it's really boring the dress also has to sing and dance on its own doesn't tell a story it's just a dress that sparkles
27:52what did you get on your second trip to mood well I didn't go on the second trip to mood because I just worked with the fabric because the fabric really shows well on stage
28:02I understand simplicity and love simplicity but you never want simplicity to turn into a yawn it looks like an evening dress just chopped off
28:10even the back I mean that's fine like on a t-shirt it's just very glamorous mother of the bride chopped her dress off
28:18I would have liked a little more drama it's not giving me that that I think a staged dress like this needs
28:26I disagree with them I love the movement of the dress I like the simplicity as I said I wanted to combine modern and classic
28:35my biggest concern with it was the hemline that seems to be a little bit uneven the hem's not great
28:42Melissa tell us about your look this was my first trip to Radio City Music Hall so I was immediately inspired by Art Deco
28:51so I just kind of wanted to do my own take on that it definitely is a showstopper but the longer I look
28:58at it I find things wrong with it you know like for example I see this gigantic one on the front and I
29:03never thought I was going to do that but otherwise I like the pink and the black it probably is a little
29:09bit too short for them can we have a little look from the back again you have to have your bits covered you
29:15know to me that is a little bit too short for you and I love for her it's long so what did you buy on
29:20your second trip the black sequence and this trim and those little details make a difference I mean
29:26you could be in the last row and you're gonna see her so it's dramatic and it's graphic I like the edging
29:34that you put around with the rhinestones what I don't like it's a little bit like a cocktail dress
29:40chopped off I think you were clever in your styling but the one is driving me crazy so you've got the
29:47impact it's graphic but I think it's I don't know it's a little awkward I think it's the most vibrant
29:53color to me she looks almost like a cigarette girl but other than that I think this is a real miss okay I
30:00was very confused by this design I wasn't sure what woman you were trying to put forward it seems like an
30:08awkward neckline for a big dance number I think putting the sparkles in was fantastic in that I think
30:16you did a great job thank you Christopher tell us about your look there's a couple reasons I decided
30:22to do the New York City skyline one being that New York City never gets old silver and nude very classic
30:30I feel that so many people come here like to make it it's a celebration for New York City
30:36I love it I love the message and I think all 36 rockets would look stunning in this
30:43I don't even know how you did this this is the fabric what I did was put it vertical which is the buildings as you see
30:50tacked it hand sewed it and then I took this trim and just outlined it when I knew what I was doing it was fast yeah and I made her earrings her bracelet
30:59just like a really fun feminine I love this dance I think it's a great idea I think she looks stunning thank you
31:07the illusion is beautiful up here you have that skyline it's New York at its best I love it thank you
31:17you've got a great idea that if you didn't execute it well it would be hideous but you did it so impeccably
31:27it's a Bob Mackie moment and I like that when she turns around you get the surprise of the Empire State Building in the back
31:35the toughest thing is to find something that has that stage presence but still has chic and this is that combo
31:45it is celebratory and dignified it's magnificent thank you Deborah Messing
31:53Elena I knew that movement was number one seeing it from far away was number two
31:59so I wanted to also use a color that I don't use overall that's what happened to me she looks like a Las Vegas cheerleader
32:09I mean it's just tacky the color the fabric the way the skirt is cut the cutouts if I was sitting
32:17in the audience and I wasn't this close I'd be like oh where's her nipple and then this necklace piece
32:23it's really gaudy can we see the back it's busy and tacky it's like you just never stopped it felt like
32:35it would actually be a beautiful costume for the circus your biggest problem was the choice of fabric
32:45on top of it you decided to match everything including her bracelet and her shoes it looks like even more ridiculous costume
32:55it's really cheesy I mean that's what I wrote cheesy Las Vegas mall I mean that is a real cheap looking fabric
33:03fabric I love glitter and I love sparkles but the whole thing just sparkles and glitters it is not sophisticated
33:11enough I guess the second trip to mood wasn't that great for me I mean it does not feel very Elena
33:19I don't know I've been fighting with myself to make things more wearable like using more colors and
33:27I don't know designers before you leave the runway I just want you to know that when we make our decision
33:37that we don't take this very lightly there's only so few of you still left and you're all very very talented
33:45so this is hard for us thank you you can use the runway
33:51okay let's talk about the designers that we liked today let's talk about Dimitri it's taking the
34:03Rockettes in a very different direction we're in a whole new era it's modern his whole vibe is very
34:10architectural so you really get to see Dimitri in this costume yeah he figured out a way to make it
34:17move that skirt is so fun and flirty you were going to drop it to the floor I mean hello that's going
34:23to the Oscars let's talk about Christopher executed fabulously chic sleek sophisticated but it has a
34:31story to tell it is a great idea divine I think it's perfection but it's got no movement the whole
34:37image of Christopher's down to the shoes there is something iconic about that vision it's very Chrysler
34:44building it's very radio city it's very New York what about Melissa's dress Melissa was okay from afar
34:52I liked it more when I walked on the runway I like the shine and the color combo but okay it was so stiff
35:00but graphic yes and in a weird way the wink to the cigarette girl with the little hat and the veil there's
35:06some charm to that of course I like the attitude I like the idea let's talk about the designers that
35:12didn't do so well today let's talk about Sanji I've got the crazy disco turkey this good it's disco turkey
35:20I don't know what else it could be do you really want to see feathered asses no it would only live
35:26through one performance because the whole thing would fall apart and molt picture if you had a bust trying to
35:32wear this outfit you like your boobs would be like just mashed like armor you look like a like a pigeon
35:39chest this is a crazy cocktail dress not a costume for the Rockettes let's talk about then the curtain
35:46parts 36 blahs come out I think the kids would freak out we asked him to do something different I mean he
35:58didn't do this origami flower festival for a change every time there's no origami rose like that could be his
36:05drag name origami rose you could have he doesn't know what to do am I right yeah then when you took away his
36:11origami pleading is there much of anything what about Elena I've got Vegas twirler the ugliest
36:19fabric Elena wins the fabric curiosity award and then she kept embellishing the ugly she really wanted to
36:26please us I'm gonna prove to them I like color and I'm gonna put it all on one outfit it's gonna sing and dance
36:33all by itself a costume is like heightened reality it's supposed to make people look even better than they look
36:41when you look at Elena's you've got this fabulous looking girl she made her look like she wanted to crawl into a hole
36:47what is worse if you have 36 beautiful girls in a really boring dress or in this blue madness at least the circus lady
36:55might get noticed or we send Sanji home at least there was texture there two different fabrics that actually
37:02were interesting together okay so we've made our decision great let's bring them back out the six of
37:15you have the highest and the lowest scores one of you will be the winner of this challenge one of you
37:23will be out the six of you have the highest and the lowest scores one of you will be the winner of this
37:36challenge one of you will be out Melissa you're in you can leave the runway thank you
37:48Christopher you are the winner of this challenge oh my god oh my god your New York City skyline
38:03costume was a true showstopper iconic original and modern the Rockettes will wear your costume in a future
38:11performance I can't believe they're all gonna be wearing that it is a huge huge win huge
38:17I can't even I and we're also very proud thanks guys congratulations you're in you can use the runway
38:26so lovely meeting you nice meeting you thanks guys I can't believe it I'm so happy
38:33even walking into radio city and getting that excitement I just bottled that up and put it right
38:39into my garment and now the Rockettes will be wearing my garment while kicking their asses off
38:45Dimitri we also loved your look great job you're in you can leave the runway thank you very nice
38:54Elena then Sanji one of you will be out Sanji you're in you can leave the runway

39:21Elena your costume is crazy but we're also pleasantly surprised that you actually tried something other than monochromatic shoulder pads
