00:00Previously on Project Runway, your challenge is to use the color blue and create two designs.
00:08For this challenge, you will be working in teams of two.
00:11About this long.
00:13Okay, do the sides and I'll show you the front.
00:15Team challenges are just so much work, I'd rather just do it myself.
00:19I'm a little worried we're not going to be sending finished garments down the runway.
00:23Irina, you are the winner of this challenge.
00:32This truly looks like a bridesmaid's dress with a shower loofah ruched up the front of it.
00:40Louise, you're out.
00:42This is Project Runway.
00:45Of course I'm the best.
00:46The search for the next big fashion designer.
00:49I have to win.
00:50I'm in, you're out.
00:52I'm the best designer here.
00:53I have no fear.
00:55Make it work.
00:56That's my one.
00:57This is my dream.
00:58For these 16 designers, Project Runway is the chance of a lifetime.
01:03The winner of Project Runway will receive a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine,
01:08a Paris vacation courtesy of Avion, and $100,000 from L'Oreal Paris to start their own line.
01:22Four boys.
01:23Four of us.
01:24Four boys.
01:25So Louise is gone.
01:26It's just sad to see someone who's so talented leave.
01:27You know, we've reached that point, and it's just going to be sad from now on, and people
01:40aren't going home for lack of talent, that's for sure.
01:43I came to America with nothing.
01:45Now I have everything.
01:46I don't want to be in a position where I'm older, and I'm like, why didn't I ever try
01:51something, you know?
01:52I'm like, if I lose everything, at least I have my health, I will start again.
01:56I think the rest of the group isn't too happy about me winning two challenges at this point,
02:06because a lot of them haven't won any, or been in the top for that matter.
02:10They're all smiling to my face.
02:12I don't know what happens when I turn around.
02:15I probably don't want to know, actually.
02:17Irina seems to have this more sophisticated taste that's been appealing to the judges.
02:23I think that winning a few challenges and not really being in the bottom has boosted her
02:28confidence up, and she almost feels like she's better than a lot of us.
02:31Let's go.
02:34I'm not going to stop, stop.
02:37Again.
02:39After the last challenge, it's really very, very important for me to pick myself back up.
02:45I really have to be extra creative and extra particular with this, because I can't be in the bottom again.
02:51If I'm in the bottom again, I'm at risk.
02:59Hello.
03:00Hi.
03:01Well, I think it's time to hear about your next challenge.
03:03And I have a little surprise for you.
03:06New models.
03:10All right, let's bring them out.
03:12I've been dreading a wedding challenge this whole competition, and the ladies are so out there in their looks.
03:31I don't even know, like, what to expect at this point.
03:35As you can see, these women are in their wedding dresses.
03:39But they're not preparing to walk down the aisle.
03:41In fact, they already have.
03:44All of these women are recently divorced and want to turn these wedding dresses into hip, cool outfits that they can wear in the next chapter of their lives.
03:53So it's going to be your job to make that happen.
03:59First, let's meet them.
04:02Hi, I'm Leah, and I've been divorced for three months.
04:06Congratulations.
04:08Hi, I'm Beverly, and I filed the petition almost eight months ago.
04:12Hi, I'm Charlie, and I've been free for six months.
04:14Hi, I'm Annie, and I've been divorced for 16 years.
04:18Marilyn, and I've been divorced one year.
04:22Hi, I'm Alyssa, and I've been in the process for three months.
04:26Hi, I'm Lisa, and I've been divorced for two months.
04:28I'm Stephanie, and I got divorced 14 years ago.
04:31Hi, I'm Robin, and I've been divorced three months.
04:34Everything goes through your mind when you are, like, watching these ladies.
04:37And if you are lucky enough to be picked at the beginning, you might have more fabric to work with.
04:42Irina, you won the last challenge, so you get to choose your model first.
04:50I think I'll choose Robin.
04:55You got your lace.
04:57Okay, now, when I draw your name, you can choose your model.
05:03Epperson.
05:04I would like to go with Melissa.
05:06Thanks.
05:08Logan.
05:09I would love to work with Leah on this project.
05:15Ooh, there was a lot of hiding there in the back.
05:18You can make four dresses out of that.
05:20Nicolas.
05:22I'm gonna go with Stephanie.
05:26Carol Hanna.
05:28I'm going with Lisa.
05:29Oh, thank you.
05:31Christopher.
05:33I would love to work with Beverly.
05:37Jordana.
05:38I would like to work with Annie.
05:42Althea.
05:44Both of you ladies have awesome attitudes that I think make up for your lack of yarn.
05:48Marilyn, you have the applique, which I've got to go with.
05:55So, Sharon, this is your wedding dress.
06:00I have to go with the girl with, like, the least yardage and the most simple dress with no applique, no beating.
06:08I mean, nothing.
06:09I've got nothing to work with.
06:11Good luck.
06:12And I'll see you on the runway.
06:14Bye.
06:15Bye.
06:16Bye.
06:27I ended up picking Robin, who had the biggest dress possible.
06:32There is, like, about five tons of acrylic.
06:36You know, it's acrylic lace and acrylic lining and acetate.
06:40So, um, it should be fun and crunchy cutting it.
06:43It's not a lot of dress.
06:45It's not a lot of dress.
06:47It's probably, like, two yards total.
06:50I realize it's 100% polyester, which means I won't even be able to dye it.
06:55And if I do dye it, it's not gonna look good.
06:57Designers, while you're still sketching, I wanted to give you a nice announcement.
07:02The winner of this challenge will have immunity.
07:05It is the last immunity for the duration of the challenges.
07:09And you have until midnight tonight to complete your look.
07:13It's a one-day challenge.
07:15And I am standing in your divorcees right now.
07:17Oh, that's great.
07:18Okay.
07:20Look at you without this dress.
07:22Oh, whoa.
07:27I need to represent myself as a designer.
07:30And, plus, meet the expectations of any.
07:34Can we take it and just, like, totally wreck it, make it, like, more punk rock?
07:38Or, you know what I mean?
07:40I want something fabulous.
07:42Like, I'm a performer, something super fly, funky.
07:46Okay.
07:47And, like, I like to shimmy.
07:48I don't want anything that's gonna be real full that comes way out.
07:51I want to kind of keep it, you know, streamlined within here.
07:53Yeah, okay.
07:54Anything to show my...
07:56Show you you.
07:57Show my me, show my figure.
07:58I want to use only cruelty-free fabric.
08:00Absolutely.
08:01So, no wool.
08:02No snow.
08:03Okay, no wool, no leather, no fur, obviously.
08:05Obviously no fur.
08:06No animals have to suffer, yay.
08:08Can we do feathers?
08:09You want feathers?
08:10Like a headdress?
08:11I'm trying to be polite and I'm trying to give Charlie what she, you know, wants.
08:15But at the same time, there's no way that I can't give her what she wants.
08:20I'm thinking Cher half-breed.
08:22First of all, because I don't want to get kicked off.
08:25And second of all, I don't want to make a Cher costume.
08:27And third, I can't make a Cher costume with a yard and a half of white fabric that I can't dye.
08:33It's impossible.
08:41Okay, designers, you'll have a budget of $25.
08:46You can get up to two yards of fabric and then anything else you need for this challenge.
08:52You have 15 minutes to shop.
08:5415 minutes starts right now.
08:57Go, go, go.
09:04How much are these a piece?
09:05A dollar?
09:06Thank God.
09:07I need a cutter.
09:08Could someone cut fabric, please?
09:12With these challenges, you have to go along with it.
09:15You don't have time to think about, it's not going to work.
09:17Get in there and get something, because it has to work.
09:20There's no excuses.
09:22We can only buy up to two yards, so this is pretty limiting.
09:26You know, they're trying to get us to use as much of the wedding dress as possible.
09:30I found this really great wool that the yardage is actually super wide,
09:34so in a yard and a half, I can make a pair of pants out of it.
09:38My gosh, she's going to look like a big peacock.
09:40I can't believe this.
09:43She really wants a share dress with a headdress and, like, peacock feathers everywhere.
09:51I just grabbed whatever I could, and I figured I can make it work later.
09:55Anybody?
09:59Time's up, everybody.
10:00She's done.
10:01I'm done.
10:02Okay.
10:03Thank you, Mood.
10:04Thank you, Mood.
10:05I make most of my living making wedding dresses, so to chop one up is kind of like running
10:26into a church and swearing at the top of your lungs.
10:30Fly away, my child.
10:32Oh, my God.
10:37That's so funny.
10:39Oh, my gosh.
10:40I think the whole concept of, you know, turning your old wedding gown into something new
10:47so you could move forward in life is sort of empowering.
10:51Well, that's awesome.
10:55Goodbye, wedding dress.
10:57I was married before I got the worst.
11:03When I came into this challenge, I knew that I needed to be mentally strong.
11:09I needed to focus on what I'm here to do.
11:12I have children.
11:13I know that they are fine, but on the other hand, it's so hard to be so disconnected for
11:19your normal daily life.
11:25Today is Saturday, so hopefully I will have opportunity to talk to them because I have not
11:30spoken to them since I came here.
11:32Hey, Garrett.
11:33It's me.
11:34I just miss you guys so much.
11:35And, I mean, I know I'm crying, but everything is okay.
11:48I'm okay.
11:49I'm having a great time.
11:51I just thought of the kids and I miss you.
11:55So, can you just tell them I love them?
11:58And I will call them later.
12:00Okay, bye.
12:03Oh, my gosh.
12:06I didn't know I would be so emotional about this.
12:09I mean, it's kind of embarrassing.
12:12Sometime our emotions get triggered, you know, by things that we don't consciously think about.
12:19And maybe in this challenge, I got a little bit triggered by all this.
12:24So, I don't know.
12:35I'm planning to use as least amount of that dress as possible.
12:38You know, you won't even know that it has anything to do with a wedding dress.
12:41I just want her to just feel proud to wear a new look.
12:46It's so awful.
12:49Looks like a bad Vegas outfit.
12:52I'm just really stuck.
12:54And it stinks because it's hard to show design when you don't have any fabric.
13:00At this point, I'm just, I just got to find a way out of this.
13:04Coming up on Project Runway.
13:05This worries me.
13:06I think they look like you just put them on.
13:07Right now, I'm feeling really stuck and helpless.
13:09This is the last challenge that anyone could get immunity, so everybody seems like they're
13:11going nuts.
13:12I mean, a lot of people are dying.
13:13This is the last challenge that anyone could get immunity, so everybody seems like they're
13:19going nuts.
13:20I mean, a lot of people are dying just because it's white.
13:21You know, there's only so much you could do with white.
13:26So, how is everyone?
13:27Hey Tim.
13:28Great.
13:29Really?
13:30this is the last challenge that anyone could get immunity so everybody seems like they're going nuts
13:37I mean a lot of people are dying just because it's white you know that there's only so much
13:44you could do with white so how is everyone hey Tim great really stress sound convincing that
13:56sounds right yeah I'm gonna make some rounds okay that's fine Christopher Tim I'm worried I know I
14:04know and I knew you'd say that right away this is not the end what is this I wanted to do a black
14:10and white kind of a sophisticated little dress for her to go out to functions in and be able to meet
14:15new people okay so this is really infrastructure yeah no that's it it's not supposed to be seen
14:20it finishes by kind of bubbling under there and then with that lace I did a belt and you know
14:27this kind of comes away from the body a little bit she wanted a shorter skirt really and I said you're
14:32gonna meet the wrong kind of people yeah that's exactly right okay Christopher thank you thank
14:36you I appreciate it Irina how'd you get this gorgeous color oh gosh I don't know I left it
14:43there for a long long time beautiful this is a hundred percent acetate oh a hundred percent not
14:50even 99 so don't get a match near it it's sort of gonna be like a slight sort of short little kimono
14:56I think what you're doing is very exciting keep going thank you Tim my idea was to use is less
15:04fabric as possible from the wedding dress and as little as possible as little as possible here's
15:08my issue the core of this look has to be from the wedding dress right I mean this looks a very lab
15:14Cody to me I had it all pinned up because I was gonna do a short jacket try it see what happens anyway
15:21Epperson you have a lot of decisions to make and a lot of work to do yes okay thank you thank you what's
15:28what's the look kind of a play on a tuxedo style film I just I'm this worries me I just think there's way
15:36too much textile I mean the dominant textile doesn't come from the dress she said to me
15:41specifically that she doesn't like dresses she doesn't want to show her legs okay Logan just
15:47figured this out that's the plan all right thank you make it work thanks Tim hello Tim oh yeah so you
15:55managed to dye it yes I dyed it and I'm kind of like feathering the edges beautiful thank you very
16:04much the judges have said that there are times when you haven't pushed the look far enough mm-hmm so
16:09I want you to take it as far as you can and I just want you to keep saying to yourself I'm gonna win
16:14I'm going to win this okay okay thank you Jordana thank you Tim so Sharon how are you doing I've been
16:25better well you have a very effervescent divorcee you have Charlie don't you she's not shy and retiring so
16:34what are you doing for um she wanted a really really short strapless like peacock feathered tail skirt
16:43what with a headdress a la Cher and um I don't know why this keeps happening to me but you cannot lose who you are as a designer in this yeah so far I'm trying to keep it more me right now and just you have to convince her right also she's not at risk of going home yeah and those of you in this room are so she has to respect that yeah just stinks
17:10what do you think of the feathers do you think it's overkill I mean I think they look like you just put
17:16them on which I did they don't look integrated into the dress and what about that trim you bought
17:26I'm such a strong person and like if something is big enough to like actually get me to the point where I'm
17:32crying next to Tim Gunn it's it's bad you know what I think you should do I think you should clear this
17:41tabletop off take each of these textiles out and just play like it's a big giant paper doll just play with
17:50the color blocking and the actual dress trim yeah okay you need to be liberated from this okay all right
17:57all right designers remember the parameters of this challenge that wedding dress has to be at the
18:03core of the whole look okay all right thank you right now I'm feeling really really just stuck and
18:13helpless but you know I'll get through this and as Tim would say I will make it work I misunderstood the
18:20assignment the assignment was to work with the dress so I'm changing it you started over what would you
18:27do just a dress Logan is freaking out he's got a lot of different pieces and they're all kind of
18:35complicated and just getting that much work done at once is kind of a hurdle don't start over it's too
18:42late I'm not gonna go home for this I refuse to go home for this I just need to find a way to change
18:52this fabric and make it look like something else other than a wedding dress and the only thing I could
18:58think of to do is use thread all right designers I am sending in your divorcees for a fitting
19:12all right everybody make it work thank you
19:16it's coming it's coming I made a sketch for her and I pictured she's starting over and she's this
19:31powerful beautiful woman that's gonna go for what she wants and what she deserves now I think this is
19:39just so beautiful you know right I love I love just the way it flows I love the feel of it I can't
19:45believe he did all this today it's beautiful I can't wait to see that on I love the color you're gonna
19:51look gorgeous I mean it's like the colors I'm already wearing the constructing this dress has significance to it
20:04because it's like you are taking it apart that life that you have been living and constructing
20:10something new I still have an attitude right now what she been doing all day at this point I'm not
20:18really concerned about making a dress that's gonna help her start her new life at this point I'm concerned
20:24about making a dress that isn't gonna get me kicked off coming up on project runway it's gonna be a very
20:33interesting runway day well done the whole look is disastrous I'm just frantic trying to finish
20:38everything if I end up going home at least I know that I didn't give up
20:54oh my god I look like I had to like begin homes or something it was tough for me when I couldn't
21:00reach my family but I feel focused enough right now I'm fine I really feel confident about my design
21:08I'm not sure if my model really gets it but this is the piece that's going on the runway and I stand
21:13behind it you guys ready for the runway uh this is gonna be the best runway ever the worst ready off you go
21:27I got a lot of work to do this morning I have so much work to finish I don't even know at this
21:44point I'm basically just trying to finish what I've started so I can send a look down the runway
21:48oh my gosh I'm in a mad rush to get these stitches on this dress because that's the only thing that's
22:00gonna make my dress not look like a wedding dress that I just cut I'm not completely confident about
22:08this outfit I keep fluffing and adding who maybe I should do this maybe I should do that I'm just
22:13trying to make it more of what the assignment was about good morning everybody I'm about to send in
22:27your divorcees you will have two hours to send them to the Garnier hair studio in the L'Oreal Paris
22:33makeup room use the Macy's accessory wall thoughtfully everyone thanks everybody I'll see you a little
22:38later bring it on when Melissa sees the garment she's like wow you know me you know my style I love
22:49that so if she's excited that made me excited and we just kept going okay you're doing great
22:53I mean look at this fit you will be wearing this dress out oh you know I will did you work right
23:14up until midnight oh yeah I did whatever I possibly could to this dress in the time that I had are you
23:22going to be able to tighten the straps in me or no does it make me look too much like a linebacker
23:26and so the hem will be shorter what the hem will be shorter I don't think so I just don't want to
23:35look like a fat grandma close if I go home on this piece at least I know that this spoke to my design
23:51aesthetic oh it's totally different so cute you are the hotness this is the hot new sophisticated you
23:59this outfit is so you now that I just put my outfit on Stephanie it is one of the most hideous things
24:08I've ever made I am so not proud of it it's not me but it's what she wanted fabulous Nicholas I love you I
24:16want to have your child not really it's just an expression do you think you're gonna finish everything
24:24we'll be going down the runway regardless accentuate her eyebrows because she has beautiful eyebrows
24:35right
24:35we want her to look sophisticated she's definitely wearing a pantsuit yeah
24:47so who taught you how to walk Tanisha the models taught her runway walks to do and how to turn and
24:58how to pose I saw someone on TV saying the way that you act like a runway model is look like you're better
25:03than everyone else and you're pissed off thankfully my model showed Stephanie how to walk it's gonna be a
25:08very interesting runway day designers in 10 minutes you and your divorcees and I are going to the runway 10 minutes
25:19why is it not going up I don't know if I end up going home now I'm not gonna be happy about it but at least I know that I didn't give up
25:32looks great on her the other ex-brides were saying how beautiful she looked and they think she's gonna
25:38win and I'm like we'll see don't do cartwheels yet at this point I'm just like frantic trying to finish
25:46everything the whole look is just really kind of disastrous to me and she actually loves the look
25:52you're gonna win I mean God look at all this decal thank you for having something Logan's outfit looks
25:59pretty crazy those pants are just awful they just look so bad designers and divorcees we are going to
26:09the runway Logan by listening to my client I basically have gotten lost as a designer in this
26:17challenge I'm just hoping I get through this one coming up on project runway I'm speechless I don't know
26:24what to say this to me is a tragedy unbelievable hello welcome to the runway as you know in fashion one
26:40day you're in and the next day you're out there are nine of you here and after tonight there will be eight
26:48this week you are asked to convert wedding dresses into fashionable post-divorce looks and I really
26:56look forward to seeing what you've done all right let's meet the judges first we have top American
27:02designer Michael course hey guys senior fashion editor for Mary Claire magazine Xana Roberts
27:09member of the board of directors of Halston Tamara Mellon welcome we will score your designs as they come down the
27:20runway one of you will be named the winner and one of you will be out let's start the show
27:27the dress turned out really great Robin was glowing the dress was shimmering she looked like Cinderella I
27:41know that I've nailed it seeing my dress on the runway it's not exactly what I would have wanted but at
27:51least this dress has a hint of me in it I'm really happy there aren't peacock feathers coming out of her
27:56butt because that's pretty much what she wanted Aliyah is definitely confident I'm happy to see her
28:03feeling good but at the same time I'm analyzing everything that I did and I just want to put my
28:08head in a hole in the crown and hide from this one I feel really great when Lisa comes down the runway
28:18this is such a hot little dress she wanted something strapless she wanted something short to show off her legs
28:23I'm happy and I think she is too seeing my dress on the runway made me feel good Marilyn she's skipping
28:35down the runway in it it's girly a little bit and she's unique in a blue dress I think what I created was a
28:48a hideous thing but you can't wake up every day and do gorgeous gowns and cocktail dresses and might
28:54not be my favorite outfit in the world that I've made but if it makes her happy I'm happy for her I
28:58love my garment coming down the runway the color is beautiful any looks very comfortable in it and the
29:10whole look is great so I really like it this is probably the most fun runway ever I really like
29:22my piece so I hope it's in the top I innovatively used the materials and this really does speak to
29:29who I am as a designer after changing my idea from my original and going towards another direction I'm
29:40pleased with how my design came out so I felt really good and I feel confident if I call your name please
29:51if I have called your name congratulations your scores have qualified you to move on to the next
30:08challenge you can leave the runway the six of you have the highest and the lowest scores one of you will
30:18be named the winner and one of you will be out let's bring out your models all right Jordana tell us about
30:35you look I wanted to create something that represents me but I also wanted her to feel herself I used only
30:42the lining of the dress this dress is edgy and chic but it also does great things for her body yeah
30:50this very very flattering shape dress I love the fraying I love the slight asymmetrical neckline Annie
30:58what do you think I love it she really listened to what I was trying to get across to her when she saw
31:04the dress she just lit up and that to me was the best gift ever you did a good job this time very good
31:11thank you very much all right Christopher tell us about your look Beverly is an actress and she's
31:17going to industry parties she's going to premieres and I wanted to give her something chic and
31:22sophisticated that she could network in and so I took the organza and I dyed it and I created this garment
31:28for her I think it was clever what you did with the organza I think it's a very pretty metallic but
31:35there's too much volume too much crumple you're an actress you want to get noticed but you don't
31:41want to be on the worst dress list do not go to an industry fund don't I mean she just looks like tinfoil
31:48that's volume on top volume on bottom and then cinched in the middle it's like a metallic hefty bag just
31:54cinched okay I had space bubble dress written down can we have a look from the back please
31:59it's stretch underneath it is a stretch it's a stretch it's a stretch all right
32:06Everson tell us about your look my whole idea was really to just get rid of the whole other dress
32:14altogether and then I realized that the assignment was to actually work with the dress I thought I
32:20made myself very clear when I gave you guys a challenge work with the wedding dress that was
32:25the challenge what I would like to know from Melissa is what you've asked for I like something kind of
32:33flowy and something fitted in the waist so you did not specifically ask for Oktoberfest when this came out
32:41I'm like oh my god she's going to Germany to the Oktoberfest Heidi went with Oktoberfest I'm going with
32:48a pirate's wench this looks like something I would pull out of my daughter's dressing up box when
32:52we're dressing real women you want to make them look longer leaner sexier and I think the dress just
32:58doesn't do that for her at all I would also think about the first date you have he's waiting at the bar
33:03and you come in in this dress he's leaving I think he might Shirin tell us about your look Charlie
33:12wanted a chair half-breed with the front the back panel at the headdress so I decided to stitch the
33:23fabric so it wouldn't just be a white it would be more of a pattern and then I put the peacock feathers
33:28in her hair Charlie do you like the dress it's a little safe for me but it's a beautiful dress I love
33:36this dress on her it really suits your body the length the geometric lines right on trend I think
33:44it's fabulous I might shorten it when I heard that she wants to be share in a half-breed moment and I
33:56love a girl who loves a half-breed moment let me tell you you were smart enough to say to her we are
34:00not gonna do Wampom we're not going there I think it's a very good idea that you created this pattern I
34:06can see you walking off the runway and just going out in that tonight which is very important okay Logan
34:12tell us about your look Leah didn't want a dress and she didn't want a skirt so my direction went
34:18to trousers and vest to try to dress it up a little bit I have an Oktoberfest moment yet again where are
34:27the beer steins I mean I'm speechless I don't know what to say Leah do you like your outfit yes where
34:35would you wear it to for your first date maybe second smart girl I just wish it been executed
34:45better it's very amateur did you notice the cup it looks like she was in the middle of her fitting and
34:51the phone rang and she had to run out and the top is so unflattering that neckline is just making her
34:59look kind of like an opera singer it's a difficult challenge because you have to please your client
35:03yet you also have to try and coax her into something that she's gonna look good in this to me is a
35:09tragedy Irina will you just tell us what is the actual wedding dress the only new material is actually
35:18this satin which I use for the lining the laces are from the dress I am very impressed you did a really
35:25clever makeover you shed a skin you know and you've got this new one it's brilliant thank you the dress
35:31looks expensive the color is incredibly chic and it's age-appropriate and you walked out and you
35:37own it I mean you all you know and that's the greatest test here unbelievable you've done a
35:45fantastic job okay we've heard what you had to say we're gonna have a little chat and then we call
35:51you back you can leave the runway let's talk about the designers that we did like Sharon you know she
36:03thought about her client and she put her in something that she looked good in from where it started off
36:07was a share hybrid and she ended up looking really cute and really chic which is clever of her that she
36:13said no I'm the designer and this is not gonna go over well and the stitching that she created that
36:19pattern with really gave it a little bit of a twist Jordana she managed to create a really elegant dress
36:28that still had some edge that was versatile as well because she can you know rock it up with the boots and
36:33then she could have taken it to an evening event with some pumps it's also very nice to see Jordana not
36:39to be so safe this time she pushed the envelope and her client loved it I love what I mean I did she
36:46she showed that you can actually make a beautiful dress out of lace everything from top to toe hair
36:51makeup accessories work perfectly it was sexy but age-appropriate it looked totally sleek and
36:58professional okay let's talk about the ones that we didn't like first off I don't even know if
37:04Epperson understood what this challenge was I think he missed it he chose masses of fabric it
37:11swallowed her and just was disproportionate women should not look like they're going to something a
37:15themed party when there is no theme Logan a lot went wrong over here as well let's be honest with
37:23that trouser be in any woman's closet no I didn't never put that on and feel attractive and then the
37:29Oktoberfest best which that ruffling made her look so matronly I also really didn't see anything of
37:36Logan in here she said here's what I want he was like all right it's not what I like but I'll do it
37:40Christopher oh worst dressed list oh worst dressed doesn't even look like a dress it's just too much
37:49yeah well it was a cross this really did look like a metallic garbage bag time yes so we've made our
37:59decision okay let's bring them back up the six of you represent the best and the worst one of you will
38:16be named the winner and one of you will be out one of you will be named the winner and one of you will be
38:33out sure in you're in you can use the wrong way thank you Jordana congratulations you are the winner of
38:51this challenge so much it means a lot to me you rock this transformation the new dress is chic and edgy at
38:59the same time and Annie looked really gorgeous you also have immunity for the next challenge and
39:04cannot be eliminated you can leave the runway thank you so much finally I'm not going to be known only
39:14as a seamstress I wanted to show people that yeah I have designing skills and I'm very creative you deserve
39:24us so much Irina very good job you can leave the runway thank you Christopher you're in you can use the
39:47runway thank you
39:54you
39:56Logan Epperson one of you will be out you both gave us Oktoberfest moments that is not a good thing you
40:07both lost yourselves as designers in this challenge Logan you accomplished the rare feat of leaving me
40:14completely speechless your pants were so ill-fitting the vest was too busy and both pieces were poorly made
40:22hepperson you clearly did not get this challenge the point wasn't to just keep the most amount of
40:29wedding dress it was to transform it into something fabulous and this dress was not
40:34loving you're in you can use the runway
40:48thank you thank you so much thank you really for this opportunity thank you thank you guys

41:32I have to send you to work for them to clean up your space oh I cleaned it up yeah I really learned that I limit myself if you're pushed
41:39you can go further and I will be that person who will push me from this point
41:44next week on project runway it is time to take the competition to the next level
41:53you're going to be designing for a five-time Grammy winning multi-platinum album selling artist
41:59this is the best project runway moment ever things are getting ripped up and sequins are flying everywhere
42:07I don't normally do things that's over-the-top can I tell you something this looks like student work I'm scared
