Learn how to make Phodnichi Poli - a quick and easy to make healthy breakfast recipe prepared from leftover chapatis from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani Basic Cooking. Phodinichi Poli is also known as Policha Chivda / Tadka Roti.

Ingredients:

6 Chapatis
3 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
10-12 Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
2 Onions, chopped
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Mix Masala / Red Chilli Powder

Method:

- In a mixer grinder add the leftover chapatis. Grind everything coarsely. Keep it aside.
- In a pan heat some oil.
- Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and chopped onion. Saute everything well.
- Add salt to taste and mix well.
- When the onions become soft add mix masala. Give a good stir.
- Add coarsely ground chapatis. Mix everything well.
- Cover it with a lid and let everything cook for 5 minutes.
- Delicious Phodnichi Poli is ready to be served.
