Khichdi is tempting and nutritious comfort food from Indian cuisine. With the mix of 6 grains and veggies this khichdi recipe makes a perfect meal full of nutrition. So watch and learn how to make a 6 grain khichdi with Anushruti only on Rajshri Food.

Ingredients:
- 50gms – ¼ cup – Bajra Dalia
- 50gms – ¼ cup – Jowar Dalia
- 50gms – ¼ cup – Makai Dalia
- 50gms – ¼ cup – Gehu Dalia
- 60gms – ¼ cup – Moong Dal
- 50gms – ¼ cup – Rice
- 2 tbsp of Oil
- ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
- ½ tsp of Cumin Seeds
- 1 slit green chilli
- 1 tsp of freshly grated ginger
- curry leaves
- ½ tsp of yellow Asafoetida
- 1 chopped carrot
- 15 french beans
- 1 potato peeled and cubes
- ¼ of chopped cabbage
- ½ tsp of turmeric powder
- 1 tsp of sugar
- 5 ½ cups of water
- Salt
- Juice of 1 Lime

Method:
- Soak Bajra Dalia, Jowar Dalia, Makai Dalia, Gehu Dalia, Moong Dal & Rice for 30 minutes

- Drain the grains before the use

- In a pressure cooker heat some oil then add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, green chilli, freshly grated ginger, curry leaves, yellow Asafoetida, carrot, french beans, potato, cabbage, turmeric powder, sugar and let it cook for sometime

- Add the drained grains into the mixture then add water, salt and juice of 1 lime and cover the pressure cooker and let it cook till the first whistle and after 3-4 minutes take the pressure of the whistle.
- Healthy Khichdi is ready to be served!
