03:14The senior divisional officer, Chaibu, alongside elements of the National Gendarmerie, visited the scene to investigate the causes and assess the damages of this accident.
03:26Poussa was there as well, and now brings details.
03:30Eyewitnesses on the accident scene explained that two heavy-duty trucks collided in Matum around 6 a.m.,
03:38thereby causing heavy traffic on the National Road No. 3 from Douala to Yaoundé.
03:43Then came another speedy heavy-duty truck, which ended up crashing into a station bus,
03:49causing the death of seven and wounding several others.
03:53Four passengers from the station bus had left to ease themselves.
03:57Minutes later, their bus was percuted behind by a truck.
04:01This caused a collision with two initial trucks that were already involved in an accident.
04:06Upon arrival on the scene, the SDO for the Nyong and Kelly, Chaibu,
04:11and his close aides were told that five persons had died on the spot,
04:16and two others gave up the ghost while being transported to the hospital.
04:20Law enforcement others and the locals have helped reestablish traffic along the Douala Yaoundé Highway.
04:26The administrative authority has warned against reckless driving along this road,

09:34La rencontre de 48 heures à Marois aura permis aux différentes parties de prendre en compte

09:44qui est un pilier du droit pénal et une mesure gouvernementale.
09:48Le but étant de mieux encadrer les citoyens soumis à des peines privatives de liberté
09:53et aussi de sensibiliser ceux qui jouissent de leurs droits et de voies civiques hors des centres de détention.

10:06L'inauguration a été faite samedi dernier à Mawell, dans le département d'Union Ekele, région du centre.
10:12La cérémonie relative était présidée par le président national Adna Ndongon.

10:20C'est une nouvelle histoire qui commence à s'écrire au sein de la grande famille Ndongon,
10:26chez le peuple Bassa, avec la mise sur pied d'un espace réservé aux archives,
10:32au village Mawell, dans le département d'Union Ekele.
10:35Nous avons pensé avoir un endroit pour pouvoir archiver ce qui nous appartient.
10:40La chefferie de Mawell, qui nous semble indiquer, a été choisie pour cela.
10:44Bien avant son inauguration, le président national d'Ndongon s'est entretenu avec les gardiens de la tradition
10:50et les chefs traditionnels de son clan.
10:53On a eu à traiter un certain nombre de projets.
10:58Je sors de là très très satisfait, parce que de telles rencontres ne se font pas très régulièrement.
11:06Outre les archives, la grande famille Ndongon compte réaliser un foyer culturel pour des générations futures.

11:19journalistes from across the East Region have carried out activities
11:22organised by the Francophone Press Union in partnership with the University of Berthois.
11:29The event was led by the FPU's regional president, Elvis Nguimezon,

11:49members of the Francophone Press Union organised a series of educational and social events

12:02They also held an interactive session with students at the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences
12:07on the Berthois campus.
12:08Students, particularly those studying communication, express appreciation for the opportunity
12:13to interact with experienced journalists and gain practical insights into their chosen career paths.
12:18This has been a very, very important conference for the Faculty of Arts especially.
12:23And we have a Department of Communication.
12:26You will see from the excitement from the students, we have a set of very ambitious and dynamic students.
12:31And they are certainly going to forge ahead their careers in the Department of Communication

12:37In a friendly football match that brought together FPU members and staff of the University of Berthois,

12:48Let's go back to the southwest region where some 466 graduates from the National School of Local Administration
12:57have been urged to uphold integrity and play a key role in advancing decentralization across Cameroon.
13:04Minister Georges Langaoban made the call while presiding over Nasla's maiden graduation ceremony,
13:10stressing the importance of their role in meeting regional development goals.

13:18The trainees, 200 in Cycle A, 201 in Cycle B and 65 of Cycle C, graduate from Nasla
13:27with a commitment to leverage their training to promote efficiency and transparency in local administration.
13:33With profound skills acquired from intensive professional practice during their six-week and four-month internships
13:40in different decentralized structures, they are poised to foster local development and empower communities
13:47while distributing certificates to top graduating students.
13:51The Minister of Decentralization and Local Development urged the trainees to uphold,
13:56to uphold integrity as they embark on their professional careers.
14:00I urge the local and the regional authorities to take advantage of the fact that they have at their disposal
14:08466 people who can enhance the functioning of regional and local authorities.
14:15The graduates are now expected to contribute to the ongoing efforts to improve governance and development in Cameroon.
14:23Clinical stakeholders in the Boio Division have met to chart out strategies aimed at attracting more supporters to the CPDM,
14:32the leading party in this division.
14:34During the divisional consultation meeting, party actors reaffirmed their loyalty ahead of upcoming elections.

14:46The other CPDM regional councillors, section presidents, mayors and divisional heads of Boio,
14:53who have come together to establish the way forward for the ruling political party in the area.
14:59They have settled on working hard to beat insecurity and get more militants to join the CPDM.
15:06The main objective is to strategize, sensitize and mobilize our political stakeholders in Boio to be able to get more militants registered in the electoral register.
15:19At the level of the councils, the strategy is to execute developmental projects which meet the needs of the people.
15:28We are making sure that we gain the population support by distributing projects to all the villages.
15:38All councils in Boio Division are led by the CPDM with one representative at the Senate.
15:45The political actors are bent on improving on their representation in political affairs.

20:14Cameroon's defense and security forces in Lomye demonstrated their readiness to protect the territorial integrity of the country
20:24and its inhabitants through a spectacular parade.
20:27This was closely followed by the civilian matchpast, where students and pupils from schools across the subdivision of Lomye
20:34chanted patriotic songs to the admiration of all.
20:39This matchpast is evidence that living together is a reality in Lomye.
20:43Different social associations portrayed the four cultural spheres of our country.
20:50The NUDP, as well as the ruling CPDM party, mobilized supporters to take part in the day's celebration.
20:57His Majesty Alex Kongstang Ondo of Zulabut One Village donated 100 jackets and a brand new motorbike to youths of the commercial motorbike sector.
21:07He also gave full computer sets to the government secondary schools of Minton and Zulabut,
21:12as well as farm input to some farmers of the subdivision.
21:17Still on 20th May celebrations, the people of Soa in the May Fuanifamba Division have demonstrated their patriotism by promoting peace and unity.
21:26The matchpast, marking the 53rd National Day, was presided at by the divisional officer Patrick Nganua Esonu,
21:33who urged the community to sustain the spirit of togetherness for future generations.

21:40After a synchronized parade by the defense and security forces in Soa,
21:46the matchpast proceeded with youths from close to 200 schools,
21:51including primary, secondary, and those in the higher education sector,
21:55who accompanied their steps with chants and songs of unity.
21:59The parade also featured members of political parties like the ruling CPDM and the PCRN,
22:06as well as traditional groups from the center, grass field, north, and other backgrounds,
22:11whose presence showcased the diversity of persons residing in the Soa subdivision.
22:17In Soa is the national laboratory of national integration.
22:24Over 50 meritorial citizens in Soa were honoured with medals by the divisional officer Patrick Nganua Esonu,
22:32who called on the residents to be civic-minded and illustrious.
22:37On to religion, the Reverend Tabi Aeyong has been officially instituted
22:41as the new Presbyterial Secretary for Dikome and Parish Pastor for Dikome Baloui in the southwest region.
22:49The induction ceremony held at the Presbyterian Church, Kumba Town,
22:52was presided over by the moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon,
22:56the right, Reverend Mickey Hans Abia,
22:58who called on the new leader to serve with humility.

23:06The special church service attended by a college of pastors and hierarchy of PCC congregations
23:14marked the institution and induction of Reverend Tabi Aeyong

23:23During the service, PCC moderator, the right, Reverend Mickey Hans,
23:27preaching from Exodus 32, verses 7 to 14, urged the inductee to be a servant leader.
23:33They should go and be veritable leaders of their people.
23:38They should go and stand in the gap for their people.
23:41Reverend Tabi Aeyong expressed gratitude and pledged to perform his duties diligently.
23:47I can't do it by my own strength, but I know by the grace of God we'll try to adopt coping strategies
23:53to be able to elevate the health and mental strength of the people of Dikome Presbytery.

24:58Un idéal de plus en plus prôné par le président Paul Biya.
25:01Une convergence de vues fortement saluées par l'autorité administrative.

25:08Au-delà de armée-nation, l'ensemble des composantes de la société
25:11participent véritablement au vivre ensemble dans l'arrondissement de Vengue.
25:15Le défilé militaire a ouvert le bal, suivi de la procession des élèves,
25:19des apprenants de la maternelle et du primaire, en passant par le secondaire,
25:22les centres de formation professionnelle et les associations.
25:25La parade en Vengue a été bien au-delà des attentes.
25:28En entournant les chants patriotiques,
25:30les défilants ont exprimé leur bonheur de vivre dans un pays paisible.
25:34Le passage des partis politiques a constitué l'un des temps forts de cette célébration
25:38avec l'impressionnant passage des militants du parti du flambeau ardent, le RDPC.
