00:16 one of these two next football games here.

00:18 And I thought it actually would be more confident

00:20 they'd lose to the Dallas Cowboys

00:22 than the San Francisco 49ers.

00:24 The Eagles got punched in the mouth against the 49ers,

00:26 now seemingly in a must win position

00:28 against the Dallas Cowboys coming up in this game.

00:31 Dallas is humming on offense,

00:32 which is not good news for a Philadelphia secondary

00:34 that's giving up top, top wide receivers,

00:37 doing whatever they want in offenses,

00:39 moving up and down the field.

00:40 This game sitting at a three and a half.

00:42 If we take a look at this on Sunday night

00:44 from your perspective, Davis,

00:45 who gets the W and is this going to be

00:47 a high scoring affair?

00:48 - I mean, this murderer's row of games

00:51 that the Eagles have been in.

00:53 So they go, they play against the Dolphins,

00:56 they played against the Cowboys two weeks ago.

00:59 They went Chiefs, they went Bills,

01:02 they went 49ers, then back to the Cowboys.

01:05 Like that just like a, I mean,

01:06 that's gotta be the hardest six game stretch

01:09 any team has had this season.

01:10 Like a really unbelievable stuff.

01:12 My concern for the Philadelphia Eagles,

01:16 who I love Jalen Hurts, always have.

01:19 I think Jalen Hurts is like pretty much the definition

01:22 of a winning quarterback.

01:24 Like when you ask, there's a lot of things special about him

01:26 but like the dude, he has lost 18 total cumulative games

01:31 since 2016, it's 2023, he's lost 18 total games.

01:36 Obviously eight of those came in the season

01:39 where it was a dumpster fire in Philadelphia,

01:42 which you would remember.

01:43 So if you kind of throw that crazy,

01:45 like Carson Wentz left, we don't know who our coach is,

01:48 this is all messed up season out.

01:50 I don't think you can argue that Jalen Hurts

01:53 is not one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL.

01:54 My concern though is this knee thing,

01:57 it's clearly a problem.

01:59 It is limiting Jalen Hurts, not only as a rusher,

02:01 which changes a lot about their offense.

02:03 I think you can really see that

02:04 and how ineffective DeAndre Swift has been as a rusher

02:08 because defenses are not respecting the quarterback part

02:11 of the zone read stuff.

02:12 They're just expecting when they run that play

02:15 for it to go to Jalen Hurts,

02:16 or for it to go to DeAndre Swift.

02:18 But also it's really limiting his ability

02:20 to plant off that back foot.

02:22 I thought you really saw it in a couple of those deep throws

02:25 to Devonta Smith and AJ Brown last week,

02:28 where he just can't quite get his back leg planted

02:32 how he wants it.

02:33 And, ah man, I can't call this game though.
