00:00Stay in the National League West and we look at the Arizona Diamondbacks for my money I feel like

00:04they are out of it and I will start to wager upon them accordingly but I will keep updating everyone

00:09but Jordan Lawler again a name back forth back forth if Jordan Lawler comes up is it enough

00:15to ignite this Diamondback team no I think what Jordan Lawler is is the gut well because I mean

00:23at this point it's not about igniting like unless you're taking the the ball every fifth day it's

00:27going to be hard to ignite this pitching staff I think at this point but I think what you're going

00:30to see is Naylor and or Suarez get moved on from Naylor's a free agent at the end of the year Suarez

00:35can bring back a haul and Jordan Lawler can then take his spot uh Jordan Lawler can finally just

00:40go play every day and I think you know right now Lawler's dealing with a hamstring issue again which

00:45is unfortunate but he it's not a serious one they expect him to be back next week but I think you're

00:51going to see him as an everyday player in Arizona sooner than later so I don't think this is one

00:55where maybe I'm wrong maybe Arizona decides you know what let's take Jordan Lawler let's get

01:00another pitcher that we can control for another year or two and let's try to compete this year

01:04and next year maybe that's their mindset either way Jordan Lawler's going to be playing every day

01:09for somebody come on his first it's either going to be the Diamondbacks or somewhere else

01:13so I think when you look at what he's done in AAA again hit 319 this year with a 410 OBP a 583

01:20slugging a 993 OPS he's been terrific uh he also steals bases too so this is a guy who's got 10 homers

01:27and 18 stolen bases in 53 games now this year it is PCL numbers so you can take him with a little

01:32grain of salt but keep this in mind too that Jordan Lawler when he came up this year was not given the

01:38everyday job he would play every like three days and there's no way for a player to get in a groove

01:43especially a young player with that so that was terrible mismanagement by the Diamondbacks I don't know

01:47what they were thinking about but at this point they've got to be thinking about the future and is

01:51Jordan Lawler a part of it and if so the future has to begin now and if he's not then move on from

01:56him bring back something else so that maybe this year in the present you can compete one of those

02:01two things has to happen by July 31st
