00:00Today, with hearts full of love and longing, we gather beneath the gaze of our Blessed Mother to
00:05honor her most Immaculate Heart, a heart aflame with the love of God and overflowing with mercy
00:12for her children. The Feast of the Immaculate Heart is not simply a day of remembrance,
00:19but a call to draw near to the tender maternal presence of Mary, who never ceases to guide,
00:24to love, and to intercede for each one of us. Her heart is immaculate, pure, stainless,
00:33undefiled, because it is entirely filled with God. Conceived without original sin,
00:40chosen from all eternity to bear the Savior of the world, Mary's heart is the first tabernacle,
00:47the first dwelling place of Jesus on earth. From the first moment of her existence,
00:53she has been God's most perfect creature, lowly in her own eyes, but exalted by the Most High.
01:03And still today, her gaze is cast downward, toward us, her children on earth, whom she longs to draw
01:11into the very heart of Christ. The maternal love of Mary is unlike any other. She is not merely a
01:19spiritual symbol. She is a real mother, given to us by Jesus in his final moments on the cross.
01:27Behold your mother, he said to John. And in that moment, he entrusted the whole church,
01:33all of humanity, to her care. John 19, 27. She embraced that role with the same joyful and humble
01:41yes that she gave at the Annunciation, the same fiat that opened the gates of heaven. Her love is tender,
01:49patient, and personal. She knows each one of us by name. She listens. She intercedes. She waits.
01:59In a world that so often distorts the meaning of love and beauty, Mary stands as a radiant model of
02:05true femininity, modesty, and grace. Her beauty is not of outward adornment, but the shining light of
02:13a soul in perfect harmony with God. She teaches us to see beyond the flesh, to behold the dignity of
02:20every human soul, created in the image and likeness of God. In her gaze, there is no judgment,
02:28no comparison, no pride, only compassion and reverence. She calls us to reclaim our identity
02:36as sons and daughters of God, to live with purity and purpose, and to see beauty in one another through
02:43the lens of divine love. Her yes to God, that courageous fiat mihi secundum verbum tum,
02:51let it be done unto me according to thy word, was not spoken once but lived daily. She said yes when
02:58Gabriel came. She said yes as she cradled her newborn son in Bethlehem. She said yes as she fled
03:05with Joseph into Egypt. She said yes in the quiet years of Nazareth. She said yes in joy, and she said
03:12yes in agony, standing beneath the cross, her soul pierced, as Simeon foretold. Her journey from the crib
03:20to the cross is the journey of a heart completely united to Jesus. She did not run from the cross,
03:28she embraced it, just as she now embraces our crosses, helping us carry them with love and
03:35perseverance. Because she is so closely united with Christ in his mission, the church reverently
03:42recognizes her as co-redemptrix, the mediatrix of all graces, and our most powerful advocate.
03:49Every grace we receive has passed through her maternal hands. She intercedes without ceasing,
03:56always pointing us to her son, always echoing her words at Cana, do whatever he tells you.
04:03Her prayers are never empty. Her presence is never absent. She is near, especially when we are hurting,
04:11lost, or afraid. And to those who seek her, she offers her mantle, that symbol of safety, mercy,
04:19and refuge. Beneath her mantle, we are shielded from the enemy. Beneath her mantle, we find rest from
04:28the storms of this life. Like a loving mother who wraps her cloak around her frightened child,
04:33so Mary shelters each of us. If only we call upon her with trust. She is not indifferent to our
04:40struggles. She is deeply moved, like she was at the wedding in Cana, like she was on Calvary.
04:46Her immaculate heart is not only a place of refuge, it is a sign of victory. At Fatima,
04:53she promised, in the end, my immaculate heart will triumph. And this promise fills us with hope.
05:01Though evil seems strong, though sin wounds and confuses so many hearts, the victory of Mary's heart
05:08is sure. Her triumph is not loud or boastful. It is gentle, radiant, and unstoppable. It is the triumph
05:17of love over hatred, of purity over corruption, of light over darkness. She is the woman clothed with
05:26the sun. Revelation 12. And she will crush the head of the serpent. The days may be dark, but the dawn is
05:34rising. And so we entrust ourselves today to her heart. We offer her our fears, our sins, our wounds,
05:42and our hopes. We ask her to teach us how to love Jesus, how to surrender, how to persevere in holiness.
05:50We ask her to form our hearts to be like hers, pure, humble, and open to the will of God.
05:56Let every heartbeat of ours echo her fiat until the day we stand before her and her Son in eternal joy.
06:05Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us. Mother of Mercy, wrap us in your mantle. Queen of Heaven,
06:13triumph in our hearts. Lead us always to Jesus. Amen.
