00:00July 3rd, The Precious Blood, Mercy That Speaks Louder Than Sin

00:05The blood of Jesus speaks not with words, but with mercy that resounds louder than all the

00:11world's guilt and sorrow. In a world drowning in the noise of blame, hatred, and despair,

00:19the blood of Christ continues to speak from heaven. Father, forgive them. This blood does

00:26not accuse. It pleads. It does not condemn. It redeems. It calls to the sinner not in anger,

00:34but in hope. When Cain killed Abel, God said, Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground.

00:42But scripture also tells us that the blood of Christ speaks a better word than the blood of

00:48Abel, Hebrews chapter 12, 24. Why? Because where Abel's blood cried out for justice,

00:56Christ's blood cries out for mercy. It bridges the infinite distance between our sinfulness

01:02and God's holiness, and it never ceases to intercede. At the foot of the cross stood a Roman

01:08centurion, hardened by battle and duty. He thrust his spear into Christ's side and outflowed blood

01:16and water. Yet that very moment was his conversion. That soldier, traditionally known as Saint Longinus,

01:24saw and believed. He who pierced the Savior became one of his witnesses. This is the mercy of the blood.

01:33It reaches even those who wounded him. No matter how grave our sins, no matter how many times we fall,

01:40the blood of Jesus is stronger. It calls us to repentance, but also assures us that we are not

01:47beyond redemption. Even when our sins wound him, his response is not vengeance, but love. The

01:55confessional becomes a fountain of this mercy, washing us clean again and again. The blood flows not to

02:02shame us, but to restore us. The precious blood is the answer to every lie the enemy whispers.

02:09You are too far gone. No. His blood says, you are still mine. You are beyond healing. No. His blood says,

02:22I make all things new. We must return often to the foot of the cross and let this blood speak over us

02:30again and again until mercy becomes our home. Let us pray. Jesus, I thank you for the blood you shed

02:39for me. Not in anger, but in mercy. Let it drown out every voice of condemnation. Let it wash me clean

02:47and renew my heart. Speak over me the truth of your love. Like Saint Longinus, may I see and believe,

02:56even in my weakness. May your blood be the song of my soul, the voice that calls me home.
