Wales headlines 20 July: Busiest month ever for A&E departments
  • 9 months ago
Accident and Emergency departments across Wales faces their busiest month on record in June, but despite this A and E waiting times look to have dropped. Overall hospital waiting times have increased, with over 30,000 people waiting at least 2 years for treatment. With an extra 5,000 waiting at least a year.

12 more people have been arrested for dangerous driving after a memorial ride for the teenage boys who’s deaths sparked riots in Ely. 15 year old Harvey Evans and 16 year old Kyrees Sullivan passed away on June 10th after an alleged police chase caused the pair to crash their electric scooter.

King Charles and Queen Camilla have been visiting Wales for the first time since their coronation earlier on this year. The royal pair have been to Brecon to meet members of the community, visited the Brecknockshire Agricultural show and have also been treated to a number of Welsh musical acts on their trip.
