Now into its 5th year, the Aberystwyth Comedy festival hosts acts from across Wales and the rest of the world, with hundreds of performances taking place for thousands of guests throughout the weekend. The whole town will be overrun with comedy, with loads of venues across the town and the university campus hosting. Running from the 29th September until the 1st October.

This one is definitely for all those foodies out there, with the Abergavenny food festival returning, in what is one of europes biggest food festivals. The streets are overrun with stalls and pop up kitchens, with more food than you can imagine, from local produce to delicacies from across the world. The eyes of the foodie world will be on the town on the 16th and 17th september.

And of course, mark your diaries because you can’t miss this one. Porthcawl is set to be stormed by thousands of visitors from across the globe during the annual Elvis festival later on this month. The event is said to be the biggest of its kind anywhere in Europe, with 20 venues hosting shows, and more wigs and sunglasses than you can begin to count. Taking place on the 22nd until the 24th of September.
