00:00 "Of course I think it's important for us to get some minutes together on the pitch again
00:09 to try and work on a few things before going into the big game.
00:12 So yeah of course we know how important the fans are for us, they've been instrumental
00:19 over the years and hopefully this can continue for a very long period."
00:27 Wales captain Arn Ramsey has said he can't wait to get back out on the pitch with Wales
00:30 this week.
00:31 And given his return to hometown club Cardiff City, he's only just down the road and with
00:35 his family once again.
00:37 He says that getting those extra minutes at Cardiff and being back home can only mean
00:41 good things for himself on the pitch.
00:42 "Yeah I'm absolutely buzzing to be back, getting stuck into the family things as well.
00:50 I'm glad they're going back to school but it's been great to be just in and around it
00:58 all again.
00:59 It's been difficult over the last 18 months being away from them and things like that.
01:07 Wales are definitely in a transitional period at the moment with plenty of big names stepping
01:10 down from the Wales squad.
01:12 But recent news of Brennan Johnson's big money move to Spurs, the Wales captain thinks that
01:17 this is the chance for the former Nottingham Forest man to take the reins and be the star
01:22 that the Welsh side so desperately need.
01:24 "From his point of view, yeah, it's a brilliant move for him.
01:30 The potential that he has is quite scary so hopefully now he can take them next steps
01:37 and go to the next level if you like.
01:43 So it's going to be important for Wales as well.
01:46 It's going to be huge for us over the next whatever years that is.
01:53 But yeah, we're all excited and hopefully now he has another platform to go on and to
02:01 improve himself again."
02:02 The games this week are pivotal to Wales qualifying for Euro 2024.
02:08 But the game against Korea is a friendly, but there's hope of a good performance to
02:11 push on against Latvia.
02:13 And the captain has every faith that we've still got a great chance of qualifying, despite
02:17 being behind in the table.
02:19 "Yeah, for sure.
02:21 I think we all know that there's a good group, there's a lot of potential in this team, a
02:27 lot of players playing at the highest level, exciting, young, talented players as well.
02:33 So yeah, I think we'll take it one game at a time now.
02:39 Hopefully we can get everybody right behind us and give us that extra bit and to hopefully
02:45 be in a position like before where we can get into the last couple of games with a chance
02:50 of qualifying."
02:52 So as Wales by and large turns its attention to the Rugby with the World Cup this month,
02:56 the football side will be ploughing on and hoping for better performances than we've
02:59 seen in recent times.
