Cardiff has appointed its first ever woman of colour as mayor of the city. Councillor Bablin Molik has been a part of the council since 2017 and says that she hopes to inspire different communities around Cardiff during her tenure, which will last 1 year.

Cardiff’s iconic central market is set to undergo a massive facelift over the coming years as plans have been announced for its renovation, pending planning permission and funding approval. The plans include revamps of its two entrances and massive glass roof, along with a new 70 seat eating area at the centre of the market.

A man who’s dying wish was to meet Ryan Reynolds as Wrexham got promoted at the Racecourse ground has died of cancer. 45 year old Jay Fear was invited by the Wrexham owners to meet the Hollywood actor last month. Ryan Reynolds said on twitter he was so grateful to have been able to spend time with Jay in his final weeks.
