The Welsh Government are set to end police community visits to schools, instead putting additional funding into front line services. The scheme has cost roughly 2 million pounds a year and taught students about substance abuse, safeguarding and behaviour, but will come to an and in April.

One of Vincent Van Gogh’s most iconic paintings is set to go on display at Cardiff Museum in March as part of the ‘art of the selfie’ exhibition. The 1887 Portrait of the Artist is synonymous with Van Gogh and has been on display at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, but will be shown in the Welsh capital until January 2025.

Museums and libraries across Wales may ‘cease to function properly’ according to a union after the government announced more than 10 percent cuts to funding. Job cuts are likely, as the Welsh government say it’s facing its most difficult situation since devolution began.
