A head teacher in Caerphilly has said that punishment alone is not enough to tackle the explosion of schoolchildren vaping. Litter pickers in Cardiff have raised concerns about plans to remove public bins around the city in an attempt to make up a 30 million pounds council deficit, calling the plans counter productive. Other suggestions have been to move household bin collections to every three weeks.

A train service cut over 60 years ago has officially returned, connecting a valley’s town to it’ closest city. Previously, if someone in Ebbw Vale wanted to visit Newport, they would need to train most of the way and then bus the rest, but now a direct line has begun again, running 30 times a day.
