The son of First Minister Mark Drakeford has been jailed for 58 weeks for a breach of his sex offenders order. Jay Humphries, formerly known as Jonathan Drakeford was convicted of rape in 2018. He has been out on license since January, but used an unapproved name on a dating app, leading to him being jailed once more.

A child saved a 9 year old when he saw him struggling in the sea near Bury Port. 12 year old Theo had gone to the beach with his friends, but jumped into action when he saw the boy in the water, and performed life saving measures, they had both been taken to hospital, but are now safe and sound.

Bayley Harewood has said the upcoming Cardiff Devil’s season is his biggest in professional ice hockey after signing a 2-way deal with the side. The Barry-born 20 year old has spent a number of years training in Canada, and has been with the devils before, but hopes to kick on in a big way this season.
