12:01every single one of those batters at least a 317 or higher with a weighted on base percentage which
12:06includes some numbers like bichette at 374 barger at 416 kirk at 386 springer at 348 and jimenez
12:13even with only eight at bats a 467 weighted on base percentage every one of those guys outside of two
12:19which means seven plus batters with limited strikeouts and a lot of really good walk rates
12:23here so this will be interesting for a team that likes to take pitches and palante doesn't walk a
12:28lot of people that means we might be looking for a lot of baseballs in play and also the key being
12:32in st louis 75 degrees at the first pitch and you take a look at a 10 mile an hour wind blowing out

14:26diamondbacks you look at their last 30 days against right-handed pitching it's been absolutely stellar
14:31let down a little bit yesterday i thought they would be able to hit a right-handed pitcher
14:34didn't do it all that well but understand this emerson hancock's on the mound today against lefties
14:39the last 64 lefties he's faced that's a 286 iso power number and a weighted on base percentage of 386
14:46you look at the lineup today just to start out carol lefty marty lefty perdomo lefty nailer lefty and
14:52includes in the bottom of the lineup paven smith alec thomas and jose herrera all lefties here looks
14:56like we have two right-handed batters in the lineup seven lefties against something that hancock can't do all
15:01that well bounce back in order today for the diamondbacks they win this game and they hit in

16:32you like that cleveland is though really a pitcher's ballpark not really necessarily a hitter's ballpark

16:55to come up but let's bring wade miley who made his debut in major league baseball in 2011 to pitch in
17:00this game which doesn't make any sense and again he showed you already through one start made it like
17:05two innings and got hammered so let's get a little bit deeper into these details because
17:09you usually need a runway for the guy like all right we'll put a veteran there if we need a spot
17:13starter too we can always use this guy he said seven starts in minor league baseball this season then
17:18three of those starts in a ball a ball you know what that means the 17 and 18 year old counting
17:24let's just call it 18 year olds that you're going up against he said 19 innings pitched ben
17:2919 earned runs so four starts in triple a three in single a every inning he's average giving up a
17:37run so i look at this and say all right well how do i use this to my advantage the one thing that we
17:41love about the guardians is the ability to have a lot of switch hitters in that lineup which means
17:44they can stack the deck with either lefties or righties on any given day they're going to use a
17:48ton of right-handed batters in this game but understand this quan has struggled over the last
17:52month against lefties so has angel martinez jram is the only batter in that lineup that is above
17:58average numbers with iso power number and weighted on base percentages fry santana arise rodriguez nailer
18:04and wilson all have poor numbers here but it's one of those leap of faiths where i say miley is a
18:09tomato camp he's meant just to start a game so i have to burn a pitching arm there's no reason to
18:14believe that even though the numbers aren't telling you right now you should be back in the guardians
18:18on offense i'm telling you i'm probably going to back the guardians today the numbers don't make
18:23sense from a guardians perspective but you can't run wade miley out here who's getting
18:27hammered by single a teams that we can't get four to five runs on him from a guardians perspective
18:33that's the way i'm leading in this game so focused on the guardians even though as i said again
18:37numbers don't look great for the guardians but the pitcher is so bad you got to be able to hit the guy
18:42again wade miley only one start this season in the big for the reds only two starts last year in the
18:50bigs for the brewers after 23 in 2023 wade miley has been in cincinnati before spent two years with
19:00the reds from 2020 through 2021 and the last time that wade miley was starting for the reds in a game
19:08in cleveland against the guardians back on may 7th 2021 he threw a no hitter not saying we're going to
19:16see that today but maybe there is some good vibes out there in the land what a wade miley themed this

20:23in milwaukee that's probably going to be open let in a little bit more of the warmer weather which again
20:27isn't that warm at 65 but the wind blowing out maybe you can get a little bit of an extra help there
20:32on a warning track fly ball looking at drake baldwin in the lineup tonight his last 47 at bats
20:37against right-handed pitching it's been really good a 244 iso and a 407 weighted on base percentage
20:41matt olsen hasn't had a great season but over the last month against right-handed pitching he's been
20:46serviceable to the tune of a 300 iso power number and a weighted on base percentage of 413 aaron
20:51savali not a good pitcher has done decently against right-handed batters thus the focus on
20:56baldwin the lefty and also in the lefty at the plate because you look at the last 30 days for
21:00the volley at 222 iso against the 367 weighted on base percentage of lefty if you go on the season
21:06that elevates to a 343 iso and a 399 weighted on base percentage that's the way i play this game
21:12even though atlanta on the man with chris sale you got some pretty good batters up there going up

21:21play it safe i don't like the pitching matchup i don't want to lay the wood here with the atlanta
21:25braves without having been struggling but i would be surprised if baldwin and or olsen doesn't come
21:30away with an rbi they'll both be plus money you can put that into your back pocket tonight

21:40now on the fan duel sportsbook does not look great minus 400 now for the braves to miss the postseason
