01:04you take a look at the phillies the cubs and the mets i put them really lump them into one category
01:08where they're going to be trading off each and you know spot all summer long depending on how good the
01:12teams are playing and that's playing very good baseball right now cubs playing decent baseball
01:16maybe the phillies sort of get back here if they're winning two or three games against the cubs but it's
01:20just going to matter of where those teams fall depending how hot they are at a certain time
01:23and the dodgers will always be the favorite again unless we get otani bets and freddie freeman all
01:28out for the season and the dodgers come out with a public statement we're not making any moves at the
01:32deadline then those numbers will change drastically on the dodgers there's too much money on the dodgers
01:36there's too many good players on the dodgers and the trade line is coming up where you know they're
01:40going to fortify the dodgers that's not going to change the dodgers will always be the favorite
01:44in those pennant odds here it's just a matter of who comes in two three or four now yeah the rs it's
01:49a great point right it's playing for that second peg who can be the best challenger to the la dodgers
01:55especially by the time we get to the postseason but to get to the postseason you need to position
01:59yourselves well right now throughout the regular season now you might just be thinking it's uh early

03:40259 up to 293 left-handed batters in the lineup today for the mets that we anticipate lindor nimmo
03:45soto mcneil young mauricio and baby probably a team total even i just told you so it's got pretty
03:51good x fifth numbers look at the temperatures today 88 degrees that ball is going to travel the bats

05:53brew crew and the redbirds i'll tell you it might be a buyer beware like if you look at the card today
05:58and you're setting up saying all right we're sunny gray fall like he's only behind terek scoobal might be

06:43baseball eventually will get a book on anybody but the fact that you're going to face a kid that's
06:47got some plus numbers coming up right away that's why you get that price but again are you going to
06:51trust a rookie in its major league baseball debut against sunny gray we'll find out but that number
06:55tells you right now how good a pitcher the expectations are what this kid will be tonight
06:59of what i am trying to find here drs miseroski is how it sounds miseroski jacob miseroski making his
07:08major league baseball debut today for the milwaukee brewers it will be a tough start to pick up a win
07:14against sunny gray and the cardinals again drs both of these teams kind of flirting with 500 for most of
07:20the year of course st louis has been one of those surprises they already have 36 wins this season
07:26they're 36 and 32 the redbirds win total entering the year 75 and a half on a great pace of course to
07:33soar through that number now they're trying to be a playoff team milwaukee 36 and 33 a half game
07:39behind st louis both of these teams at least five games behind the chicago cubs let's end out a couple
07:46of midweek sets we do that first in kansas city today in kaufman it's the yankees and the royals
07:54new york a road favorite at minus 144 total stands at nine the yanks looking for a sweep aaron judge has
08:01hit a home run in three consecutive games of course that includes both so far this week at kaufman will
08:07the pinstripes pull off the sweep against kc on the road i mean why not at this point now you're
08:12getting two pitches that aren't that great right now but will warren does have a check this out
08:16again a 6.33 era over his past 30 days but a 3.21 xfip number it's getting a little bit unlucky
08:21here maybe he bounces back into form but seth lugo only eight and a third innings pitched here
08:26that veteran guy has been very strong for kansas city 6.48 era through those two starts only eight
08:32and a third innings you take a look at the weather conditions in kansas city today 75 degrees more of a
08:37crosswind nine miles an hour let's just say from the right flagpole to the left flagpole but if we are
08:42looking at the offense i mean why can't we just continue this dominance for the yankees at the plate
08:46it's what they've been doing so i look at that total and say nine i do think we get the 10 runs
08:50because i think you look at some of the lefties in the lineup here for kansas city who could do some
08:54damage but everybody look at aaron judge with 74 plate appearances against right-handed pitchers
08:59a 415 iso and a 519 weighted on base percentage there's a lot of guys in that lineup are absolutely
09:05smashing right-handed pitchers and the fact that seth lugo hasn't had a good season coming back and
09:10he's struggled over the past 30 days why can't the yankees play five to six runs to be the you know the
09:14the champion in this game per se to push you over that nine a couple of ebbs and flows to start this
09:21year for kc they started 8 and 14 and then won 16 other next 18 to get to 24 and 16 on may 9th since
09:29then basically the last month 10 and 18 for the royals hoping to avoid the sweep today but not expected
09:36to and donnie does not believe that will be the case now drs let's go elsewhere on this thursday slate
09:42ending out yet another midweek series the rubber match today inside camden yards the o's won
09:48yesterday big 10 to 1 trying to win this series against the tigers but when you got tarik skuble
09:54on the bump for detroit the reigning al cy young winner and the minus money favorite to win a second
10:00consecutive cy young award it's going to be difficult minus 188 the price in favor of the tigers on the

10:39spencer torkelson and glaber torres so when you're looking for a bounce back effort here you should get

10:48doing against any lefty or righty pitcher tarik skuble comes to town he's probably going to shut you
10:52down fantastic weather the tigers bats wake up which they were dead yesterday they probably get
10:57themselves a team total today but also sometimes you get in that condition where it's like hey
11:00i know i got skuble on the mound what do we need two runs today total to win this baseball game
11:03maybe you play down a little bit i don't want to buy into that but detroit should hit kramer today
11:07with those left-handed batters and those 88 degree temperatures and then skuble being the best in
11:11baseball he should be able to hold down those bats for the baltimore orioles series finale in camden
11:17the tigers got beat bad yesterday and now because of it 44 and 25 they have one more loss the same
11:24amount of wins as the new york mets it's by the amazons at this juncture entering thursday have the
11:29best record in mlb drs are four big awards around baseball the two mvp awards in each league and the
11:36two cy young awards of course in the al in the nl as of this moment the race is not all that tightly
11:42contested we've got a minus 200 favorite or better in every one ever judged minus 20 000 to win his
11:49third al mvp award in the last four years shohei otani minus 400 to win the national league mvp award
11:55and he hasn't even pitched yet and in both our cy young battles paul skeins minus 250 in the nl
12:02derek skuble minus 210 to win his second consecutive american league cy young award another rubber match
12:09today in the twin cities between the rangers and the twins minnesota sending out bailey over
12:14and they're a minus 162 favorite in some day baseball today up in minneapolis total eight and a
12:21half what's the play between the twins and the rangers 70 degree temperatures which you like but
12:26blowing dead in from center field here is the wind at about double digits nine to ten miles per hour so
12:31not great there on that end of it but you want to focus here on bailey over which for minnesota has
12:35been a decent pitcher over the past couple years but he's struggling on the card today 15 total pitchers
12:39ben 30 uh last 30 days how about him coming in at 15 dead last overall 4.26 era which isn't disastrous
12:46per se but how about a 5.42 x fit number that's what gets you in trouble that's his last 25 and a
12:51third innings pitch you take a look here and say well who can actually do the damage because texas
12:56hasn't been all that great this year ben to be honest like cory seager let's point him out
12:59against right into pitching over the past month he's got 32 at bats not a single extra base hit his
13:04iso power number is zero and a weighted on base percentage of microscopic 1.91 which is ridiculous
13:10and a k rate of 30 but the middle of that lineup could do damage if you're looking for rbi shots today
13:15off over marcus simian jake berger and evan carter and i've been told you here that you probably want
13:19to focus on the lefties look at evan carter his last 30 plate appearances against right-handed
13:23pitching a 269 iso and a 394 weighted on base percentage not a lot to love in this texas lineup but
13:30come on now you got to start hitting sometime may might as well be against bailey over you got to
13:35start hitting sometime drs that's been the theme here for the rangers minnesota 36 and 31 five games
13:42above 500 there's seven games back of detroit in the american league central but the rangers were
13:48a team that many including yourself drs looked at to maybe contend for an american league pennant or
13:53at least be in a good spot donnie's not necessarily wrong but the reason texas has faltered on
13:59expectation they can't hit they've only allowed as a team 229 runs this year second fewest in the
14:08bigs fewest amount given up in the american league they have a positive run differential
14:14but only 239 runs scored they're four games below 500 32 and 36 the fork firmly in the atlanta braves
14:24we might have to make the rangers our american league team on fork watch at this moment
