00:00Yeah, since I gave you the American League reserves,
00:02I'll give you the American League pitchers as well here for the All-Star game,
00:08which is next week in Atlanta.
00:09Hunter Brown having a great year.
00:11Bubich from Kansas City.
00:13Chapman and Crochet from Boston.
00:17DeGrom, Max Freed, Hayter, Kikuchi, Munoz from Seattle,
00:22Scooble, of course, Shane Smith,
00:25because we had to have a White Sox in the game,
00:26and Brian Wu from Seattle as well, having a great year.
00:31Are the Yankees going to have to face Wu-Tang Clan this week?
00:35I believe he's pitching, if I'm correct here, the Thursday game.
00:42Yes, Thursday, he's pitching against Strowman Thursday night,
00:46the last game of the series.
00:48If I'm looking at it here from my perspective,
00:51I think Hunter Brown has been unbelievable.
00:54I won't deny what Chapman's done for the Red Sox,
01:00and really for everyone, the Pirates, whoever it was.
01:02He's still throwing gas.
01:04That's just all there is to it.
01:06I think DeGrom's been unbelievable.
01:08Freed Chicken has been sensational for the Yankees for the most part.
01:12Hayter, his light's out.
01:14Every time he goes on the hill, he gets a save.
01:18I think Kikuchi's been impressive.
01:20I saw him pitch a game the other day.
01:21They were up 2-0, and the minute he was pitching a shutout,
01:26the minute they took him out of the game, they lost the game.
01:28They literally, I mean, they took him out, and that was the end of it.
01:31They lost.
01:32And Scooble's been the most dominant pitcher, I think, in baseball,
01:38without a doubt.
01:39And his changeup is absolutely unhittable.
01:43I've said this before on the show.
01:45I've never seen a ball in, you know, for my money, in the last decade,
01:49dive like that.
01:51I don't remember ever seeing, like, Kershaw has a big hook.
01:55There's no doubt about it, right?
01:56But this guy's changeup dives off the table.
02:00It's like literally like a noodle falling out of a spaghetti bowl onto the floor.
02:04It just goes straight down.
02:05You can't hit it.
02:06That guy is unhittable.
02:08And so when they go to the playoffs, you can count them.
02:12Like, every time he pitches, he's going to win.
02:14That's it.
02:15That's all there is to it.
02:16He's completely dominant.
02:18And what's weird is every time he pitches, they score runs for him.
02:21Unlike Skeens, who is as good as Scooble at the end of the day,
02:27but the Pirates never score and he runs when he pitches.
02:29I mean, how many times has Skeens pitched a 1-0 loss?
02:33I mean, it's been, like, what, four of the last five times he's pitched?
02:36Like, every time he pitches Philly, he's this one the other day against Seattle.
02:41It's every time he pitches, he loses 1-0.
02:43They never score for him.
02:45He has to absolutely hate being on that team.
02:49I mean, this guy hates being a pirate.
02:51I mean, he probably wants to pull his teeth out of his mouth.
02:54I mean, honestly, with a wrench, pull him right out.
02:58Like, play it for them.
02:59He has to.
03:00He's going to need a shrink.
03:02Playing in Pittsburgh, he's going to need a shrink.
03:04Even that hot girlfriend of his can't keep him happy.
03:08She's going to leave him.
03:09She's going to leave him over playing for the Pirates because they're so awful.
03:12Remember when he got the job and they were both so happy
03:15and she went to Pittsburgh to the game?
03:17She won't even go there anymore for games.
03:20She's already run out of that joy.
03:22She can't even find a good restaurant in Pittsburgh.
03:25She's done with it.
03:25She won't even go there anymore.
03:27She's got to find a new lover.
03:28As far as the National League goes, in terms of their reserves,
03:35Pete Alonso in the game again, although he's not going to do the home run derby.
03:40I guess at this point we could say thank God because he's been in it so much
03:43that we really need to see him in it again.
03:45Corbin Carroll.
03:46Ellie De La Cruz will be there.
03:48Brendan Donovan.
03:49Hunter Goodman because we had to have a Rocky.
03:51Matt Olsen.
03:52Kyle Schwarber.
03:53Kyle Stowers, who we love here on Coast to Coast.
03:55He's been very good to us.
03:57Eugenio Suarez, who we talked about before.
04:00Fernando Tatis Jr.
04:01And well-deserved, the Wood Doctor, even though the Nationals suck, Scotty,
04:06the Wood Doctor absolutely deserves to be in the All-Star game.
04:10Yeah, he doesn't suck.
04:11He's been fantastic hitting home runs every night and ringing a bell for us.
04:16So he's been great.
04:18There's no denying it.
04:21And as far as their pitchers go, there is Paul Skeens on the pitcher list
04:25for the National League, along with Jason Adam, Matthew Boyd, Edwin Diaz,
04:30Tipper Gore.
04:32Nationals suck, but they got two All-Stars.
04:34Clayton Kershaw was the commissioner's pick, legacy pick for him.
04:38Freddy Peralta, Robbie Ray, Randy Rodriguez, Chris Sale, Logan Webb,
04:42Zach Wheeler, and Yamamoto, the National League pitchers.
04:45Well, you know, Yamamoto deserves to be there.
04:51He was terrible yesterday.
04:54And Sale's been injured.
04:56Robbie Ray pitches tonight.
04:59Tipper Gore, he doesn't win.
05:01He strikes guys out, but he doesn't win because they don't score runs for him
05:06any more than they do skeens.
