Kolambi Bhujan is a traditional Maharashtrian dish made with prawns (kolambi) and a spicy masala paste. It is a popular coastal dish and is usually served with steamed rice or bhakri (a type of bread made from millet or rice flour)
Ingredients 250 gms Prawns (peel & devein) 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste ¼ tsp Asafoetida 1 tsp Turmeric Powder 1 tsp CKP Masala 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder Salt (as per taste) Juice of ½ Lemon 1 tbsp Oil 1 tsp Mustard Seeds 7-8 Black Peppercorns 1 tsp Asafoetida 1 cup Baby Fenugreek Leaves (washed & chopped) 2 Onions (chopped) 2 Tomatoes (chopped) ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder ½ tsp CKP Masala Salt (as per taste) ½ Fresh Coconut (grated) 1 cup Coriander Leaves (chopped) Water (as required)
