Masoor Daal Tarka:
Ingredients
Split red lentil ½ kg Red chilies round 12 Garlic cloves 4 Ginger garlic chopped 1tsp Coriander whole 2tsp Cumin 2tsp Turmeric 1tsp Salt 1tsp Plum 1000gm All spice ½ tsp Coriander as required Green chilies as required Spring onion as required Ingredients to temper Curry leaves 6 Cumin 1tsp Garlic cloves 4
Method Cook the lentil in water , now add red chilies round, chopped ginger garlic ,coriander whole, cumin , garlic cloves, turmeric, salt , plum and all spice now let it cook on low flame .when lentil gets tender so mash it and add green chilies , coriander and spring onion , lastly temper it with cumin , garlic cloves and curry leaves .
Murghi ka shorba :
Ingredients
Chicken ½ kg Tomatoes 2 Onion 2 Ginger garlic 2tsp Yogurt ½ cup Red chili 2tsp Turmeric 1tsp Salt 1tsp Cumin 1-1/2 tsp All spice ½ tsp Green chilies coriander as required Bay leaves 1 Coriander powder 2tsp Oil ½ cup
Method Heat 2 cups of water add onion , tomatoes , red chilies, salt , turmeric, ginger garlic, cumin, all spice, bay leaves, and coriander powder and let it cook . when onion , tomatoes tender let them cool and grind it. now heat oil and roast the chicken , now add all spice and yogurt roast well. now add 2 cups of water cook for 10 min , lastly sprinkle green chilies and coriander and serve.
