00:12The brother said that he is studying the Quran, he wants to study comparative religion.
00:18So can I guide him which lecture should he refer to? Is there any talk of my, any program where I teach about comparative religion?
00:26There are many of my talks, my public lectures which are on comparative religion and there are books written by me.
00:34Since you are from Pakistan, in the religion that you should concentrate more on comparative religion are Hinduism and Christianity.
00:44These two religions are the religions which are maximum followed besides Islam.
00:49So if you want to study compassion with Hinduism, my talk on similarities between Hinduism and Islam is a very good talk.

01:32And various lectures of mine are there on comparative religion, like Salah the programmator of righteousness.
01:38These talks, if you hear, it is mainly based on one of the important verses of Dawah, where Allah says in the Quran, in Surah Imran, chapter number 3, verse number 64.
01:50You can refer to the book, the people of the book.
01:56Come to common terms, ask within us and you.
01:58Which is the first term, Allah na'muda illallah.
02:01That we worship them but Allah.
02:03That we associate to part of the thing.
02:09That we erect not from among ourselves, lords and peters other than Allah.
02:14Then if you turn back.
02:15So, this is the master key for Dawah.
02:18Allah says,
02:19Come to common terms as between us and you.
02:21So, while doing Dawah to a non-Muslim, it's very important that if you start with common terms,
02:26Inshallah you will be able to break the dice and you will be successful.
02:39So, you can start talking about common terms and Allah reminds us here in this verse.
02:43The most important is, Allah na'muda illallah.
02:46That we worship them but Allah.
02:49That we associate to part another thing.
02:51So, while you are doing Dawah, you can start with things which are common for example, science, or maybe literature, or whatever you feel is coming between the person you are speaking.
03:01And yourself, or the religion who you are talking about and Islam.
03:06But, your main aim should be Tawheed.
03:10You may convince him to be truthful, you may convince him not to have alcohol, you may convince him not to have pork, but if you do not remove the shirk from the life of your friend or the person you are talking to, the Dawah is useless.
03:22The most important is Tawheed.
03:23You can talk about other things, but the most important is Tawheed.
03:27If you are not able to remove the shirk from his life, if you are not able to instill Tawheed, the Dawah is useless.
03:34So, in comparative religion, the most important point of comparative religion is the concept of God in the Jehovah religions.
03:42If you are speaking to a Christian, you should try and prove Tawheed from the Bible.
03:46First, you have to prove that Jesus Christ peace be upon him, he never claimed divinity.
03:51And you can prove from the Bible, and I say that in my talk, and in my book, there is not a single unequivocal statement.
03:58In the complete Bible, where Jesus Christ peace be upon himself says that he is God, or he says worship me.
04:04And, you can hear my talks.
04:06So, similarly when you are doing Dawah to a Hindu, your first concept should be that you should remove the idol worship from the life of the Hindu.
04:14Prove to him, that according to the Vedas, there is one God, you should worship him alone, Almighty God has got no image.
04:21So, the first aspect of Dawah is Tawheed, concept of one God, that you worship him alone and no one else.
04:29So, while doing Dawah, this is the most important aspect.
04:32So, first you should master the commonalities between the concept of God and Islam and other religions, and try and win him over to Tawheed.
04:39The second most important aspect while doing Dawah, which is the pillar of Islam, first pillar, we bear witness that there is no God, Balla Allah, and we bear witness that Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.
04:49The second aspect of Dawah is, to prove to the non-Muslim, that Prophet Muhammad is the last and final messenger of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
04:58You can start with proving him about science, if you think he is a man of science, no problem, but your final goal should be, first Tawheed, second is the Risala, that Prophet Muhammad is the last and final messenger.
05:10As I mentioned earlier, I have given talks on this topic, Muhammad peace be upon him in the Bible, Muhammad peace be upon him in the Hindu scriptures, Muhammad peace be upon him in the world religious scriptures.
05:19And then you can go on for Akhira and for Salah and various aspects, but these two are the most important aspects.
05:26And if you are able to convince the non-Muslim on these two aspects, he can enter the fold of Islam.
05:31The remaining will follow.
