00:00I have a young daughter whom I want to admit into an Islamic school.

00:05The Islamic school is very far from my home.

00:09We have a convent school right beside our home.

00:12My wife argues that we put her in the convent school as a disclose to our home.

00:18She cites reasons such as it is unsafe to send a girl child far nowadays.

00:24But I want to put her in an Islamic school so that she can stay away from shirk,

00:29have an Islamic environment and at the same time gain worldly progress.

00:34I do not mind risking her sending far away.

00:38I have faith in Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that he will protect her if I strive in his way.

00:43How do I convince my wife?

00:46Brother Umair has asked a very good question that he wants to send his young child,

00:51the young daughter, to an Islamic school.

00:54But the wife is insisting that since the Islamic school is very far,

00:58better put in a school which is slow diving but it is convenient because it is not safe

01:02to put the child in a school which is far away.

01:05Basically let me tell you that Bangalore is a safe city.

01:09Bangalore is not like Manhattan of New York or Bronx.

01:13It is a safe city.

01:14I have been to Bangalore many times.

01:15I have many friends.

01:16So if your child is going to school, she is going to go at daytime.

01:20So I do not think so.

01:21It is unsafe to send your child, your daughter to a school which is far away.

01:28It may be half an hour.

01:29It may be one hour.

01:30See to that you arrange a proper transportation whether it be a school bus, whether it be a

01:35proper vehicle which is secure.

01:37I do not think so.

01:38It is risky.

01:39But what you have to realize that I do agree with Umair, the husband, because he is striving

01:50for the Akhira.

01:51Imagine if you are putting your daughter in a convent school and she starts believing that

01:56Jesus is God or she starts worshipping.

01:58Jesus can be easily upon him.

01:59Will you be able to forgive yourself?

02:01Many a time people give their school that the school is farther from not sending.

02:06Maybe they are more impressed by the standard of the convent school as compared to Islamic

02:11schools.

02:12But I am aware that Alhamdulillah in Bangalore there are many Islamic schools.

02:16We have love options.

02:17You can surely choose the school you feel has a better standard which is more close to

02:22Quran and Sunnah.

02:23And even if hypothetically, if the standard is less than the convent school which is close

02:27to your house, it is preferable and safer to put your child whether a daughter or a son

02:32in Islamic school rather than a convent school because there are high chances that your child

02:38may go away far from that deen.

02:41So I do agree with Umair and I completely support him.

02:44And I would like to remind the sister that please don't be so much relaxed and not at all

02:52worried about putting a child in a convent school.

02:57There are high dangers that they may go far away from the deen.

03:00It is more dangerous than the danger of thinking that it is unsafe for a girl to travel.

03:05Because if she goes far away from the deen, that is multiple times more dangerous, more

03:11harmful, more un-Islamic than talking about the safety of a child.

03:14And Allah is there to protect you.

03:16And I do agree with the statement of Umair that if he is striving in the way of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,

03:22surely Allah will protect and Bangalore is a safety.

03:26How many cases have you heard?

03:28That young girls going in Bangalore to schools, which are far they have got problem.

03:33How many cases?

03:34And even if it's far and if it's tiring, Allah will support you.

03:39You will get a better ajar.

03:41And one more thing, it's good for you also.

03:43Because the beloved Prophet ﷺ said that when a person dies, only three things continue as

03:49sawab acharya.

03:50One is the wealth that is spent in his way.

03:53One is the knowledge that is spread about him, about the deen.

03:57And the third is pious children praying for you.

04:01So if a child is pious and pays for you, you will benefit.

04:06If your child is not pious, then it will get no benefit for you in the akhira.

04:10So it will not only benefit the child, it will benefit you also if you put in a good authentic

04:16Islamic school.
