00:00Hello there, a very good morning to you. If you do suffer from hay fever, don't forget
00:05those tissues and tablets when you head out today. Grass pollen levels are going to be
00:09quite widely high for many areas, locally very high across some in the south-east, and
00:15that is because most of us are going to see a fine, settled day with a decent number of
00:20sunny spells, particularly England and Wales holding on to that sunshine right throughout
00:25the day. There'll be some fair weather cloud bubbling up at times. The cloud always lingering
00:29a little bit more for Northern Ireland, and there will be more in the way of outbreaks
00:33of rain for parts of Western Scotland, and a bit more of a brisk breeze around here as
00:39well. Temperatures held back underneath that rain in the north-west, mostly around mid-teens,
00:45but we'll be picking up towards 20 degrees Celsius for Northern Ireland, Eastern Scotland, and
00:49feeling noticeably warm in that sunshine across areas of England and Wales, speaking around
00:5425, 26 degrees Celsius in the east. It'll be a calm end to the day for England and Wales
01:01also, with some late sunny spells. A few mist and fog patches may develop overnight. Cloud
01:06always lingering for Northern Ireland, and we'll see further rain into north-western Scotland
01:10during the overnight period. This could be heavy over the hills, and the winds will also strengthen
01:15here, potentially gale-strength gusts during the early hours of Tuesday morning. It's going to be a mild night for all of us, though temperatures comfortably around
01:2412 to 15 degrees Celsius as we start off Tuesday morning. We'll watch on Tuesday as that band
01:30of rain slowly pushes its way south and eastwards, but it is going to be weakening as it does so,
01:36so increasingly that rain will be fairly light and patchy. There'll be some sunny spells developing
01:41up towards the north and west, with a scattering of showers and quite prolonged sunshine still
01:45holding on down towards the south and east. It's here where we'll hold on to the heat, where
01:50we'll still again see 25, 26 degrees Celsius as the high, but it will start to feel that little
01:55bit more fresh up towards the north and west, more around high teens as your peak temperatures
02:01here. Once this weather front eventually moves out of the way, we are going to start to see
02:07high pressure build in more concretely across all areas of the UK as we do head towards the
02:13middle of the week, and it is going to be our main driving force of the weather as we head
02:18later on down the line. What does that mean for the weather, and what does it mean for how high
02:23those temperatures could climb? Well, we'll have plenty more of that detail in our full week ahead
02:29forecast on the YouTube channel, so subscribe and we'll give you all of that information a little
02:35later on today. Otherwise, enjoy the rest of your day. Bye-bye.
