00:00Hello there.
00:01Good evening.
00:02Hope you've had a wonderful weekend.
00:03We are ending things on a relatively calm note for many of us.
00:07Some of the light rain that we've had around today is now fizzling out and it'll be relatively
00:12dry for the rest of Sunday with some late sunshine in there as well.
00:16A few mist and fog patches may develop overnight.
00:19There'll be a slight change though into the north west of Scotland as we see rain moving
00:23in into the early hours of Monday morning and this could turn heavy over the hills with
00:26quite a brisk breeze developing as well.
00:30Mild for all of us during the forthcoming night, temperatures comfortably holding up in double
00:34digit figures to kick off Monday morning.
00:37It's always going to be northern and western Scotland that stays that little bit damper
00:41and wetter throughout Monday.
00:43The heaviest of that rain will tend to ease off but there's always a chance that we see those
00:47outbreaks continuing on and off during the day.
00:49But elsewhere the first day of this new week should be fairly fine, dry and pleasant.
00:55There'll be some fairweather cloud bubbling up in places that might make the sunshine hazy
00:59at times, particularly for the far south of England and areas of Northern Ireland.
01:03But it will still be relatively warm where you do catch that sunshine, seeing highs of
01:07around 25-26 degrees Celsius across parts of central and eastern England, but even pushing
01:13the 20 degrees Celsius mark for Northern Ireland and through to eastern areas of Scotland as well.
01:18It's not just the temperatures that will be responding to that sunshine, the pollen levels
01:23will as well.
01:25The grass certainly will be producing quite a lot of pollen, seeing high levels for most
01:29of us, if not very high, across some southeastern areas, so worth bearing in mind if you do suffer
01:35from hay fever.
01:36During the overnight period into Tuesday, we will see another weather front push its way
01:41into the far northwest once again.
01:43So this will be bringing further rain, but now also those tighter isobars could bring
01:47some stronger winds, potentially gale strength and gusts during the early hours of Tuesday
01:51morning.
01:52We'll watch as that rain slowly pushes its way southeastwards, but it will tend to weaken
01:55throughout the day.
01:57Behind that, there'll be some sunny spells developing for Northern Ireland and Scotland, but the most
02:01prolonged sunshine will always be down towards the southeast of England.
02:05The temperatures here, once again, will peak at around 26 degrees Celsius, but it'll be
02:10a little bit fresher on Tuesday, where we see temperatures now more around high teens across
02:16these regions.
02:19Once this weather front clears its way off, though, we are going to start to see high pressure
02:22building in more dominantly across the UK, and certainly by midweek, it is going to be
02:27our main weather feature.
02:29With that, we are expecting to see those temperatures climb back up again.
02:34Quite widely with 20 degrees Celsius, but if not, by the end of the week, we could be pushing
02:39towards 30 degrees Celsius, potentially seeing our first 30 degrees of the year.
02:44So it's worth staying up to date with the forecast, and we'll have plenty more details
02:48of how likely we are to push towards that value later on down the line.
02:53So do subscribe to the YouTube channel, and we'll see you again here very soon.
02:57Bye-bye.
