00:00Good evening.
00:01Well, we've seen the peak of the heat in this heat wave through today.
00:05It's still going to be very warm on Sunday before turning cooler for many of us on Monday.
00:11So we've got this ridge of high pressure extending across the UK, helping to keep things settled.
00:16But out towards the west, an area of low pressure moving through Sunday night and into Monday.
00:21So if you're not a fan of the heat, temperatures will be falling away, but also bringing some
00:26heavy spells of rain or welcome rainfall for many of us.
00:31So through the rest of this evening, then plenty of late evening sunshine out there.
00:36But this low cloud across the North Sea will push further inland once again.
00:41So cloudier skies across the Midlands, the southeast of England and northern parts of England and
00:46southern Scotland, clearest skies towards the far west.
00:52But it is going to be another warm night out there, uncomfortable for sleeping.
00:56Some places not dropping below 17 or even 18 degrees.
01:01So a warm and humid start to Sunday morning, like I said, some clouds still lingering across
01:07eastern coast and generally a bit more cloud in the forecast compared to Saturday.
01:13We may even see some showers bubbling up, could be heavy with the odd rumble of thunder across
01:18parts of Wales, the Midlands into northern England.
01:21But for most of us, it is another fine and dry day with sunny spells.
01:26It's still going to be feeling very warm out there, perhaps not as hot as Saturday, but
01:31still highs 29, 30, possibly 31 degrees.
01:36Always feeling cooler along that eastern coast, especially if you're underneath any lingering
01:42low cloud and fog.
01:44So as we go through Sunday evening then, that's when we start to see a change developing.
01:50So showery outbreaks of rain coming into the far north and west of Northern Ireland and
01:55then into parts of Scotland.
01:57Low clouds still hugging some coastal areas across eastern parts, but still a warm night
02:03to start Monday morning, temperatures not falling below 16 or even 17 degrees.
02:11So a warm start once again to Monday, but it will start to be turning fresher from the west.
02:17So low pressure dominating, showery outbreaks of rain across western areas into Wales,
02:22and then eventually into northern England, into Scotland where it will be heaviest,
02:27perhaps even with the odd rumble of thunder and a few thunderstorms breaking out elsewhere too.
02:32Always dries for the longest across the far south east, and here we'll still hold on
02:37to some high temperatures, 29, 30 degrees.
02:40So still feeling hot here, but further out towards the west, that's where temperatures are going to be
02:45lower.
02:45So now around 22 or 23 degrees, accompanied by a bit more of a breeze as well.
02:53So more going on in the forecast as we head through Monday and Tuesday.
02:57Make sure to hit subscribe so you don't miss any details on that.
03:00And I'll see you soon. Bye bye.
