00:00:08Norm Turner now in his third year after spending a couple years with Jimmy Johnson
00:00:12as the offensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys.
00:00:14He's off to his best start at 4-1.
00:00:16And Bill Parcell is now in his fourth year with the New England Patriots.
00:00:21Eight years with the Giants, two Super Bowl titles.
00:00:24The Parcells of 3-2.
00:00:26Last week, the Redskins were idle.
00:00:29Scott Blanton sets the kickoff for them.
00:00:33Deep back, they've got David Meggett along with Troy Brown.
00:00:37Meggett is having a pretty good season,
00:00:38although teams are kicking away from the one-time New York Giant.
00:00:42He is looking for a big game.
00:00:45Redskins still trying to hold on to a piece of first place in the NFC East
00:00:50with the win today at 4-1.
00:00:52And the New England Patriots, who lost their first two of one, three in a row,
00:00:55they are 3-2 coming into today.
00:00:58Should be a great battle of two young quarterbacks, too.
00:01:01What's so against Gasparade.
00:01:04Redskins are ready.
00:01:05Here we go from Bucksboro.
00:01:07And the kick by Blanton, taken at the four-yard line by Troy Brown.

00:01:55And play action by the quarterback, Brunshall,
00:01:58who failures and it's incomplete, going right to work
00:02:00and looking for rookie Terry Glenn out of Ohio State.
00:02:05Now the defense for the Redskins, and boy, are they playing well.
00:02:08They're only averaging 11 points from the opposing offense and looking good.
00:02:12Tony Woods today will be starting at one of the defensive ends
00:02:15and replacing Sterling Palmer, joined by Boutte, Sean Gilbert, the former Ram,
00:02:19and Rich Owens.
00:02:21In the linebacking corps, Patton, along with Rod Stephens and Ken Harvey,
00:02:24who's having another good season.
00:02:25In the secondary, the quarterbacks, Green and Carter,
00:02:28he leads the NFL at four interceptions.
00:02:30Richard and Morrison are the safeties.
00:02:32Second down and 10, and the pass is caught at the 25-yard line by Terry Glenn.
00:02:38Picks up two yards, Rod Stephens is right on him,
00:02:40and Jerry, that brings up the third down to about eight.
00:02:42Well, you can see the plan for New England is trying to score.
00:02:45I think their chance to win the day is to throw the football
00:02:48and get some points on that board early.
00:02:51You don't want a close game with the Redskins because of their running attack.

00:04:30But he jumps out of himself

00:04:34And William Gaines, the right tackle,
00:04:36made the stop.
00:04:37Well, he's not a great runner, as you can see.
00:04:39But he has the courage to go ahead
00:04:41and try to take it up in there.
00:04:42He doesn't want to take the sack.
00:04:44I think he did the wise thing.
00:04:46He quit looking downfield.
00:04:48We've got to hang on the ball.
