00:00Hello.
00:01Well, it wouldn't be a bank holiday weekend if there wasn't some rainfall in the forecast.
00:06Now having a look at the bigger picture, we've had an occlusion that's cleared its way through,
00:09bringing some spells of rain.
00:11Another area of low pressure this evening and overnight that'll clear its way north
00:15and westwards.
00:16And then as we go into bank holiday Monday, another area of low pressure waiting in the
00:21wings to bring some further spells of rain, mainly later on in Monday.
00:27But back to the rest of this afternoon.
00:29It's a cloudy picture out there, but we may see some brighter spells developing, especially
00:34across the East Midlands and into East Anglia and perhaps even northeastern Scotland.
00:39And here we may just see the odd shower bubbling up.
00:43But otherwise, there's a lot of cloud around and out towards the west.
00:46That's where we'll see some patchy rain and drizzle on and off, otherwise turning increasingly
00:51unsettled across Northern Ireland later on in the day with heavy spells of rain and some
00:57stronger winds.
00:58But otherwise, there's a lot of cloud around, a lot of moisture and it's feeling warm and
01:02muggy out there.
01:03We'll see highs of up to 21 or 22 degrees in the south and east.
01:10Now heading through Saturday evening, heavy spells of rain associated with that area of
01:14low pressure continuing to push its way across the north and west and across much of the country.
01:19But the rain's going to be heaviest across Scotland, accompanied by some gusty winds and
01:24some coastal gales as well.
01:26Clear spells developing at times elsewhere.
01:29But otherwise, with a lot of cloud around as well, temperature's still holding up.
01:34So actually, it's going to be another quite mild start to Sunday morning.
01:39So heavy spells of rain across Orkney and Shetland, accompanied by some strong and gusty winds.
01:44That'll pull its way north and westwards.
01:46Behind that, it is a case tomorrow of sunny spells, scattered showers, always heaviest
01:52and most frequent to that area of low pressure.
01:54So across Northern Ireland, North Western Scotland and into North Western England in particular.
02:00But across the South East of England, into East Anglia and towards the far South and East,
02:05that's where we'll see plenty of fine and dry weather.
02:09So a much brighter day on Off Up on Sunday.
02:11For all of us, though, it is going to be feeling cooler out there, especially across Western
02:17areas where we hold on to a lot of showers.
02:19But otherwise, in the sunshine, highs of up to 20 degrees.
02:24And those showers continue as we go overnight, especially across Northern areas, clearer skies
02:29again across the South and East, and generally not as mild as we start Monday.
02:36But a quick glimpse of Bank Holiday Monday.
02:38Well, it is going to be a case of sunny spells, scattered showers for some, with longer spells
02:43of rain arriving later on in the day.
02:47But for more details on all of that, make sure to hit subscribe so you don't miss an update.
02:51And I will see you very soon.
02:52Bye-bye.
