00:00Hello, everybody. I'm Jesse Waters, along with Kennedy, Harold Ford Jr., Dana Perino,
00:09and Greg Gutfeld. It's 5 o'clock in New York City, and this is The Five.
00:19Democrats are ready to throw down to protect the bad hombres. Tough-talking libs are rushing
00:24to defend the Demsurrectionist trio who stormed that New Jersey ice facility that holds suspected
00:30murderers, child rapists, and MS-13 gangbangers. Homeland Security says more arrests are coming,
00:36but now Hakeem and AOC are warning everyone not to lay a finger on their crew, or else.
00:43What happens if they were to go and arrest these members, or if they would try to sanction them
00:48during the House of Representatives? They'll find out. What would you do?
00:50They'll find out. It's a red line. It's very clear. No one's intimidated by this dude. No one.
00:59And so, there are clear lines that they just dare not cross.
01:06You lay a finger on someone, on Representative Bonnie Watson Coleman,
01:12on Representative, or any of the representatives that were there, you lay a finger on them,
01:17we are going to have a problem. But before there was the New Jersey Ice Center, there was the Maryland
01:22dad, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem on Capitol Hill, smacking Fang Fang's ex-lover for playing a gotcha
01:29on Abrego Garcia. Madam Secretary, you agree that the letters MS and the number 13 in Times Roman numeral
01:39font, that they are doctored on this photo, right?
01:45Congressman Abrego Garcia.
01:47No, no, I'm just asking about this photo.
01:48No member of MS-13. It wasn't based off of tattoos. It was based off an entire piece.
01:52And I'll accept it. I want you to have credibility.
01:54And I want you to be taken seriously. Is this doctored or is it not doctored?
01:57I am taken quite seriously.
01:59Madam Secretary, I have a seven-year-old, a six-year-old, and a three-year-old.
02:01I have a detector. I'm just asking you, is this doctored or not doctored?
02:06Sir, the protocols in the case built against-
02:09Can you answer the question?
02:10...were exactly the same.
02:12And we're getting a very big update for nobodies above the law crowd. A federal grand jury returning
02:18a two-count indictment against a Milwaukee County judge who allegedly helped an illegal immigrant
02:23evade ICE agents waiting to arrest him outside a courtroom. All right, Dana, the threats from
02:30Hakeem and AOC, are those credible threats?
02:33They are not. And this is what's pretty crazy.
02:35The leader of the Democratic Party on the House side, maybe Chuck Schumer, they could
02:42arm wrestle for it. But that's basically who they are, right? So they took the posture
02:45of threatening federal agents. Now, let's just posit that we have video. So normally,
02:53in a normal environment, you see one of your members attacking an ICE agent. You might say,
02:59I've instructed all members to follow the law. End of story. But instead, they want to basically take
03:06them on. And 90% of the country wants the illegal immigrants to get out. Maybe Hakeem Jeffries could
03:11take them aside and say, guys, this place has been open since 2014. None of you ever went there. Why?
03:16Why all of a sudden now, when this is the issue that President Trump actually succeeds on? Let's
03:22talk about inflation. Let's talk about those prices. He's not doing any of that. I think that
03:26he sounds very hollow. Pete Buttigieg yesterday. Remember him? Mayor Pete, he was in Iowa yesterday.
03:32Why Iowa? Well, he wants to give a rally in 2028. He's got it in his sights. The problem is what he
03:37said about Abrego Garcia, you know, Marilyn man, Marilyn dad. He said, they're saying like, oh, this
03:44guy is a criminal. No one person, least of all, no one politician gets to decide that you are a
03:49criminal. Now, this is not a rally because he wants to be the president of the United States. And you
03:54have judges that make that determination all the time. Yes, one person, one man, one woman gets to
03:59decide if you are a criminal. He came into the country illegally, and we know that that is a crime. If they
04:05don't agree that that's a crime, they should raise their hand and make that clear. And the other thing
04:09is they're digging in on a serial domestic abuser. So once again, the women aren't protected
04:15by the party. I think that Hakeem Jeffries gets it backwards, and they are really needing somebody
04:21like the Obama of 2008 to be like, who is the Obama of 2026 that is going to come forward? I'm not
04:29saying it's Michelle Obama. Don't get any ideas. Oh, I was just going to say that. Greg, how are the
04:34Democrats handling the issue of deportation? Not well. If they don't like this facility,
04:41there is a solution. They could take them into their homes. I mean, if you don't just pay lip
04:47service, do real service. You've got a sofa bed somewhere in your house, take in one of these
04:53gangbangers or alleged rapists and murderers. Show them where your heart is. Hakeem is like,
05:01I have to be honest here. I'm going to go purely superficial. He is the most unwell looking political
05:07leader out there. The guy looks like he hasn't slept since 1989. But the worst part is he has
05:12nothing to show for it. Like he's a great symbol for the Democrat Party. He looks tired. He's worn
05:17out. He's miserable, but he doesn't do anything. Now you compare that to Trump or Vance or Musk or RFK
05:25or Rubio. There's all this energy, yet they're rested and ready. They have a purpose. They've
05:31got foundational principles. They know what to do. And here they're walking tall. The Democrats are the
05:37walking dead. And the reason is this. Trump has squatted in the house of common sense and there's
05:44no room there for the Dems. They can't come home because they condemned what's in that house.
05:49They're like the college kid who renounces its capitalist parents and their heartless lifestyle.
05:55And so the parents cut him off. Where do you go? Where do you go? Well, you defend gangbangers.
06:00You defend trans athletes. You know, you martyr people who are criminals. Where the hell is Van
06:08Holland? Did he go on tour? I mean, where is his wife beating bro? Like, remember how that was over
06:15all over the media every day? And we were forced to cover it. And we knew the guy was a scumbag
06:21and also the gangbanger. And yet, you know, they're gone. They disappeared. It's like it never
06:26happened. Do you have any advice for the Democrats, Harold Ford Jr.? I do. Good to be with you, by the way.
06:34I hope so. I think we should stop falling into the trap, guys. I understand due process and
06:42understanding. I understand wanting to ensure that people are treated fairly. But at a time in which
06:48the Senate and the Congress and particularly Republicans in the Senate and the Congress are
06:52debating what the budget should look like next year, you have Republican senators arguing with
06:57Republican senators about Medicaid cuts. You have Republican congressmen arguing with Republican
07:02congressmen about how who should have taxes cut for them and who should have taxes raised on them.
07:07While we're not offering those things, I don't know. Again, I'm not suggesting at all that we
07:12shouldn't be protecting people's individual rights. But everyday Americans put Donald Trump in office
07:17because he wants to ensure that we're protected from gangbangers and criminals who happen to be
07:24here illegally. They also put him in office because they believed that he was going to revive
07:28and revitalize and rejuvenate the economy in ways that would help every American. And I contend he's not
07:34doing a great job there. I contend we should be offering ideas on how we reshore manufacturing to the
07:40country, not by using tariffs, how we can educate kids, how we can educate engineers and electricians.
07:46So when those jobs do come back, we're prepared. We need to be positive. This is this is exactly us
07:52falling into the trap that President Trump and I would argue many on the Republican side who are
07:57political want us to. Let's stop it. Get back to the issues. Democrats during the pandemic should have
08:02tried to break open schools that were closed. They shouldn't be trying to break open ice facilities.
08:08Don't get me started. I mean, the proof is in the pudding when you look at outcomes where there is
08:13school choice. And those are the kind of issues that nonpolitical parents have woken up to really,
08:19really care about. One of the other ones, unfortunately, for Democrats is immigration.
08:23And they look at this because it was the forgotten voter who was activated during the 2024 election
08:29cycle. The person who was like, well, they closed my COVID business. They kept my kid out of school.
08:34You know, my prices have gone up. George Clooney doesn't care. You know, he's endorsing a corpse
08:40until he decided that it wasn't politically convenient for him and the Democrat establishment.
08:46So they need to I think you're absolutely right. They need to refocus on those forgotten
08:51voters because they're like, you forgot about us. There's only so much political energy you have
08:57to spend. And they are spending it like attention tramps on this one issue at this one facility
09:04instead of putting up the kind of plan that Harold's talking about, because all of that
09:09manufacturing, immigration, economics that has been co-opted by the Republican Party.
09:15And if Republicans keep winning the way they have been the last two weeks, and I mean,
09:20the Trump administration specifically, watch Democrats numbers continue to go down because
09:25they are falling into the trap and they're pulling themselves further left, which means further off
09:32the cliff. And the fact that they don't recognize the rational play that they have to make right now
09:37to those rational voters, to those forgotten voters, I don't care. Shame on them. They don't deserve
09:42a spot. Shame on them. Shame. Shame. You know what the Dems' problem is? They're in a woke
09:47crouch. Show them the crouch, Cheryl. Show them the crouch. You're right. It's a woke crouch. I don't know
09:54that position. I never get in a crouch like that. No, you don't. It's not my move. Just not on the
09:58shelf. Up next, President Trump racks up trillions in deals for Americans as he marvels at the Middle East.
10:12It's the dawn of a new Middle East. President Trump and Qatar for day two of his mid-East diplomatic
10:32blitz, putting commerce over conflict as he cuts more economic deals and courts peace.
10:37Donald the Dove lifting sanctions on Syria and meeting with their new president, urging him to
10:42sign on to the Abraham Accords with Israel. He also signaled some wiggle room for a new Iran deal.
10:4747 also securing a historic $1.2 trillion economic commitment in Qatar and complimented them on the
10:53decor. As a construction person, I'm seeing perfect marble. This is what they call perfecto.
11:01We appreciate those camels. I haven't seen camels like that in a long time. They're both tall, handsome guys
11:07that happen to be very smart. I want to make a deal with Iran. I want to do something if it's possible.
11:13But for that to happen, it must stop sponsoring terror. We are currently exploring normalizing
11:19relations with Syria's new government, as you know. I am also ordering the cessation of sanctions
11:24against Syria to give them a fresh start. Mm-hmm. And as Trump racks up trillions in deals from the
11:30Gulf states, all the Dems and media want to do is hound the prez over a luxury jumbo jet offer from
11:35Qatar. My attitude is, why wouldn't I accept the gift? He does not believe in rules and laws and
11:42norms. He thinks they're for suckers. This flying grift or Khan Air Force One, this is all about is
11:50getting a $400 million aircraft for Donald Trump when he leaves the presidency. This administration is
11:56corrupt, falling through. Mm-hmm. It's kind of funny. It's a funny story, Kennedy, although it does give
12:02them something to talk about because everything in this trip is a win. It's just deliverables.
12:08Yeah. Everything one after the other is a win-win-win. Here, you play with the little story about the
12:14plane. Yes, but if you read the left-leaning media, they're like, well, he hasn't really done any
12:19deals with Syria and Iran, and he called the new Syrian president a terrorist, a jihadist not long
12:27ago. But the plane, I don't think the plane is that great of an idea to accept because I think that
12:35if we are forcing Democrats and the Biden family, which was famous for decades of grift, and if we're
12:43holding them to account, then I think it's a political mistake to be doing something that could
12:48be construed as the same thing. Yeah, you've got to act better than your predecessor, even if you're
12:54in the right. Yes, and you have to be able to employ the political golden rule, which is if it's wrong
12:57for them, it's wrong for us. And why distract from the phenomenal wins that have happened over the last
13:0410 days? You know, it's interesting, Dana. I was asked this question in the break, the other one,
13:09not that other one. He notices the camels and the marble. If they were to come here, what do you
13:16think they would notice? I would love. Please come with me and walk the streets.
13:21Why do you have so many people on the street? Wouldn't it be fun if President Trump came and
13:25we were like, sir, can we walk, will you walk with me to my dance lesson today? Because you've got to
13:29see this and do something about it. Like, I'm dying for him to go on the subway and then it'll get fixed
13:34and that would be an amazing thing. I wrote down distraction. I'm crossing it off. No need to talk
13:38about that because she said it. I think this is remarkable what he's done with Syria. So yes,
13:45yes, jihadists. Yes, prisoner at Abu Ghraib. Yes, somebody who got rid of Assad. Everybody forgets
13:52that Assad is cool in his heels in Moscow, hasn't been thrown out of a window yet. So I guess that's
13:56a plus for him. But in Syria, it's remarkable that President Trump would say, okay, I'll give you,
14:02here's a deal. If you meet these benchmarks, you've got to get rid of terrorism, you've got to do all
14:08several other things and they're tough requirements, then no more sanctions on you. So this is a chance
14:14for Syria for the first time since 1979 to join the rest of the world. And you can see putting these
14:20pieces together. What I do like about economic diplomacy is that it is our superpower. We can use
14:26it very well and they want to invest in America. We can invest in them. I think economic ties are very,
14:32very good. I also believe in medical ties and the health ties. Bow ties? No, bow ties I'm not
14:39really for. I mean, on some people, they're fine, whatever. Bolo ties, though, I really like.
14:44The last thing I would say is we said that he said that there is wiggle room on Iran. But he says a lot
14:51of things about making a deal with Iran. But he does always say that they should not be allowed to
14:56have a nuclear weapon. But that gets sort of pushed to the side because people want to
15:02play and suggest that he is going to be willing to allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon. I don't
15:08think that's fair to him. But I think that the White House comes. People need to understand,
15:12and maybe they do, that he has to say that over and over again because the media or the left or
15:17whoever it is wants to try to pull him back from that red line. Harold, it seems that this is
15:23kind of the way Trump always viewed this foreign policy, all commerce, no combat.
15:29So I differ slightly. And it's hard for me to differ with my pal Dana on a substantive
15:35issue. I do. I do. I do. On the Syria thing, for this reason, I don't know where the national
15:42strategic security interests are and what we're doing. I take you at what everything you said.
15:48If they join the Abraham Accords. I'm talking about Syria. Yeah, I mean,
15:52if Syria joins the Abraham Accords. But they have been. And we really we we and he has the Saudis
15:57also. The reason I say this is because the president says a lot of things the beginning
16:01of a week. And in a couple of weeks later, he says something different. We remember we had a
16:05lot of tariffs on a lot of countries and he suspended all of them for 90 days and kept the
16:09ones on China. And then things got wishy washy with the market. He took the things off China.
16:14And so we now have another 90 days for that. You take a plane from a group of people that we've
16:20set around this table. I've heard all of us say the Qataris, they harbored Hamas. I didn't hear him
16:27at all say, I'll accept this plan if you guys renounce this and tell me you'll never do this
16:32again. It all seems a little about about him. Now, he could be exactly right. I'm not suggesting
16:37the president's not right about this, but I don't understand how you go to a country and say to
16:42people in front of you, the 2020 election was rigged. I don't believe it was. But even if it was
16:46the people you're saying in front of Mr. President, they don't even have elections.
16:51The thing that troubles me the most is I think about it in an overarching way.
16:54I don't mind us resetting and talking about a recharge and a redo of our role in the world.
17:01But we are forced for good, for democracy, for rule of law, for decency, for righting wrongs.
17:06And if we're going to change that, I think we deserve to hear more than just the president being
17:12in a U.S.-Saudi conference praising these men for the great work that they're doing and for the
17:17business deals they're doing. I love commerce as much as anyone. But commerce to me does not at all,
17:22it's not at all greater than whom we are as a nation and what we mean for the 250 years we've
17:27been on this earth, because we've been a force for so much good. And I hope and pray we continue to
17:31be. And I just want to hear the president articulate how this does it.
17:33Well, you don't act that way with China. You're all high and mighty with the Mideast,
17:37but you don't act that way with China, Harold.
17:38I'm the one that acts that way with China. That's why I want to bounce TikTok.
17:40You love China, you hate tariffs, and you want to do business with these people.
17:44You're not going to put me in with the communist China. You're absolutely wrong.
17:47Just it. Rewind it. Just put you in with them. And Dana is so right. What he's trying to do is
17:52create a peace and prosperity framework in this region so we can pivot away from it,
17:56go back to the Western Hemisphere, and realign ourselves into the Near East. Listen,
18:01if you peel Syria away from Russia, and you lift sanctions, and then you cut a nuke deal with
18:09the Iranians, and lift the embargo, and get the oil back online, and tell the Saudis to pump more
18:15oil, it drives the price of oil down, it starves the war machine in Russia, and forces Putin to
18:21negotiate with Zelensky. Then you sell chips and arms to the Saudis, and you get these guys to do
18:27business with Israel. You step back up with the Abraham Accords so everybody can trade with each
18:32other and trade with us, and then we all get rich. The only thing hanging up this thing is the Hamas
18:38situation. If Netanyahu can settle this thing, then the Saudis will come on board, and we can all be
18:47fine. And on the plane, Harold, he's going to take the plane. And then you guys are going to do nothing
18:52about it. And the press is going to ride on it. And then if you win in the midterms, you're going
18:57to impeach them. So what? Okay, and then Kamala is going to win, and she's not going to go on the
19:02new jet. She's going to go on the one for 1990. That's because Boeing can't get it together will
19:06never be flown. Would you fly a jet from Qatar? You got to take the whole thing apart. You have to
19:11take every single piece apart and look at it. We can't even build a plane. You think we can take it
19:16party? It is a Boeing plane, right? You know what Greg is really saying to you? In your face.
19:23Worse than Ikea. If Trump invites you to fly on the plane, you're going, Greg. I'm not going on a
19:28jet. Yeah, you are. Hey, Greg, come to Mar-a-Lago. You're going in your face, Greg. All right.
19:37Up next, Dems thought they could Febreze him away, but the stench of Biden lingers.
19:42Bring back the shame of a man fall asleep.
19:53And I'm forever yours. I'm forever yours.
20:01Faithfully.
20:02Jesus.
20:03I can explain in the break.
20:05What was that? It was worse than Greg's song.
20:07Hey, it's a new. It's faithfully with Willie Nelson and the original thing. Anyway, I thought it would
20:14be better than that. I'm sure it's great. Anyway, there's a new talking point emerging from the
20:18Democrats who are looking to get away from the barrage of brutal Biden decline headlines. The
20:23bat signal going out for the word forward. We're not looking backward. We're looking forward.
20:29We're just looking forward. We're looking forward. We're looking forward.
20:31We're looking forward. I'm interested in going forward.
20:36That's backwards, not forward. That's very backward looking. I don't really want to review
20:40all of it because it's past history.
20:42Not so fast. It's hard to escape your past, especially when there's a new book on the cover
20:47and it's of Joe Biden's decline and there's a new one every week. Now we're learning how Team Biden
20:53brought in Steven Spielberg to use his Hollywood magic and help coach the former president for the
20:58State of the Union and that ill-fated debate. Now, Democratic 2028 hopefuls are being forced
21:04to address the revelations. Here's Mayor Pete. Would the party have been better off if he had
21:09just not run for re-election? Maybe. And right now, with the benefit of hindsight,
21:14I think most people would agree that that's the case. We're also not in a position to wallow
21:19in hindsight. We've got to get ready for some fundamental tests of the future of this country
21:24and this party, some of which are going on this very year, many of which will come next year.
21:29But Greg, it's not like Mayor Pete was a governor. He was in the cabinet.
21:33And did he not even think it was strange that there was-
21:35And he should stay in the cabinet where he belongs.
21:38This is not actually about the Democrats. This is about the media. They are the rats
21:43in this story. They're like a member of the gang. In this case, it was the gang of
21:47the White House, the Democrat Party, and the media. They're the member of the gang that is
21:53now narking on everybody else so they can get prosecutorial immunity so they don't go to jail.
21:59But the problem is, in this case, they're just trying to save their jobs. These books are coming
22:04out to protect them. So they can start talking about, oh, listen to these shocking revelations.
22:10Biden will forget people's names. Dude, this is not shocking to us. We were talking about this.
22:17But they want you to buy into, this is shocking. So you think that it was shocking to them.
22:23Like, yeah. Can you believe this stuff? No, no, no, no. We saw it. And so did you. You're lying.
22:29You're putting these books out to protect your hide. What did they lead with? The wheelchair story.
22:34That was supposed to be the big story. And why did they choose that as the big story? Because it was
22:39about the physical issue and not the mental issue. But we don't care if Joe Biden's in a wheelchair.
22:46Right. We don't care about that. That's not going to affect how he leads a country.
22:50The mental incapacity, the 25th Amendment stuff. That's what we cared about. That's what the media
22:55is worried about. You finding out that they covered for that. The big question is, of course,
23:00if we are all on the same page about Joe's cognition, what does that say about his executive
23:04order? Since I don't know, you want to start with the I don't know what year you should start.
23:08But all the pardons should be negated. They should all be taken away. But this explains why the media
23:16did the expose now and not then, because they wanted this stuff to happen. Wasn't about Joe. It was about
23:22the whole Democratic piece that they were protecting. And now they could come out and go, hey, it's not us.
23:27It's not us. It's them. They're discussing. This is why the media is dead. DOA, it's over.
23:33Jesse, where does the five go to get its apology? We don't expect an apology. A lot of people don't
23:41know this. Greg is in a wheelchair. Have you ever seen him stand up? No, we put him in a wheelchair
23:47right now. Right now. Exactly. All right. So what's the Democrats message, Dana? Is it a Maryland dad?
23:54Is it eggs? What is it? No one knows. No one cares. The other thing is, why are we paying consultants
24:02to tell them to say stuff? Still, after all these years, you're paying a guy a million dollars to say
24:07we're looking forward? What was this guy doing? Yeah. You can't change the past. No. Looking
24:14forward. Here's your invoice. Good luck with that. The media is not even buying it. This guy tried it
24:19on CNN. They were like, oh, no. Well, you got to look backwards because no one's going to trust you
24:25guys ever again. And this is about trust. How do they regain their trust back? Well, if you say you
24:32didn't notice anything, you're a liar. If you say you noticed something about Joe but didn't do
24:37anything, you're a coward. If you admit kind of that you knew he was shot but you didn't say anything
24:43because you wanted to beat Trump so badly, then you're just a conniving, manipulative, power-hungry,
24:49sketchy, sketchy politician. So wherever they go, they're toast. This is like January 6th with
24:54Republicans. They were asked for four years about that day. Was the election stolen? Was January 6th
25:01horrible? And they all individually had to come up with the right answer. Some say the FBI set it up.
25:08Some say it was a horrible day. Trump said it was the most beautiful day of the year. But they were all
25:14forced to come to terms with it. And that's what every Democrat needs to do. They need to be asked
25:19about Biden's health and needed to be on record on it. That's how you gain trust back. But what
25:24about the media? You're leaving out the... You took care of the media. I'm taking care of the
25:28Democrats. Well, I want to ask Kennedy about the Hollywood because at this point, George Clooney
25:34is like, well, he doesn't even recognize me. So I'm not coming in to help. Yeah. And now they have
25:37to hire Steven Spielberg. So Steven Spielberg took over for the movie AI from Stanley Kubrick who passed away
25:45and he had to finish the film. So I think someone in the Biden administration or in his inner circle
25:51was so dumb, they saw AI and thought, well, let's just do that with Joe. We'll have Steven Spielberg
25:58manage the whole thing and maybe get ourselves a handsome animatron like Jude Law. And he could
26:05play the part of the president because voters would love a 50 years younger Joe Biden, Amtrak Joe.
26:11And the other great nugget that came out today was at that June fundraiser. This is June of last year
26:19where Julia Roberts and George Clooney raised tens of millions of dollars for this ticket.
26:25Joe Biden didn't even know who George Clooney was. And his little minder had to go,
26:30Mr. President, this is George. And it's like, no, George Clooney. And they couldn't even
26:37acknowledge that. So he truly is a zombie. He is unkillable. He is doing so much damage. And the
26:44whole look forward thing is even worse because if you don't examine your mistakes, you are going to
26:49repeat them. And if there's threat of that, voters will never trust your party. Can you throw that
26:53picture up again of him with the celebrities? Biden? Yeah. Look how upset Morgan Freeman is.
26:59Harold, you do not have yet a Democrat that wants to run for president that is public about wanting
27:09to run for president who has said that was wrong. And does that need to happen in order for them to
27:15actually be able to move forward? Because they can say all day long, we are looking forward. We are
27:19trying to move forward. But you're not actually taking a step until you deal with it.
27:24So I think the country settled that for us. They elected Donald Trump again. And they said that
27:30close the door on that and move forward. I do agree with you in one regard that they needed to offer
27:35ideas. I mean, can you imagine if Democrats were out endorsing the Brad Gerstner, Ted Cruz,
27:41Cory Booker idea about 1K accounts for kids being born, right if they're born, regardless of what their
27:47income is in their family, providing the first $50,000 of individual income tax-free, the first $50,000
27:53of business income tax-free, that we're going to ensure that kids have tutoring after school and
27:58summer initiatives for schools that hold teachers accountable in schools all across this country.
28:03We're going to go after China by doing well. We're going to strike a deal with Ukraine so we can get
28:07their rare earth minerals as partners with them so we don't have to import them from China. And we're
28:11going to ban TikTok here because they capture too much of our information. Democrats, there's so
28:17much there for us to be doing. If we continue to fall in the trap of talking about Joe Biden,
28:22bless his heart, he gave 40-plus years to this country of servants, and I'm grateful for it.
28:27But we have a country, we have people in this country who are expecting leadership and ideas
28:32from us. And until we do that, we don't deserve to represent them anymore if we continue to fall
28:37into these traps.
28:38Ford for president.
28:39You should write their talking points. That's a much better thing to say than,
28:42oh, let's look forward.
28:44Mine are written for me, then I give them to them, and they still don't.
28:46Actually, you know what, you can tell yours aren't written for you because it's not part
28:51of the bat signal that everyone else pays attention to. Okay, ahead, structural and
28:56intersectionality. Move over, Greg. James Carville has a list of banned words and phrases that
29:01the Democrats should ditch.
29:19Well, you know who is a hollaback girl? I'm about to tell you the Democrats'
29:23crusty Cajun is back. James Carville's poking his shiny bald head out with a list of lefty
29:30buzzwords Democrats need to toss if they want to win again.
29:35Don't use generational change because there's a lot of people that are older. Don't use words
29:41like structural. Don't use the word equity. Use equality. This is another really stupid word.
29:47Oligarch. Who in the knows what an oligarch is? I wouldn't use the word community.
29:53I wouldn't even use the LBGQT plus or whatever it is. I just call people gay, the lesbian,
30:01or trans. Don't use words like intersectionality.
30:06Intersectionality. Harold, do Democrats just need a thesaurus? Will that magically fix all
30:13the problems? I'm still writing down the words that James said.
30:16Intersectionality. I think he's on to, I mean, these words are things that I understand where
30:23he's coming from, but I think he's trying to tell the party, get back to where people are.
30:28You've gotten so far outside on the periphery, and the periphery isn't necessarily bad. It's just
30:34irrelevant, and people don't care about. To get back to talking about the things that people care
30:38about, but it's worth listening to. Get rid of TikTok and bring back manufacturing. Cut taxes!
30:43Absolutely right, and cut spending. So, Jesse, I didn't realize that James Carville has a special
30:49brand of love for you. When you see him talking like this, does it warm your cockles?
30:54Well, he told me to shove a tampon where the sun don't shine. So, and I've invited him on the show,
31:01and he's too afraid to come on. So, I don't know what the problem is there. And I want to have
31:06tampon on, too, but he's not man enough to come on. I'll even give him a milkshake if he comes on.
31:12So, he's invited. But what happened was, under Barack Obama, the party shifted from middle class
31:17to, like, postgrads. And all these postgrads, they worship these professors. And all these professors
31:23don't talk for normal people. They talk to impress other professors, just like the journalists
31:27do their jobs to impress other journalists. And they use words like intersectionality and
31:32oligarchy. No one knows what the hell they're talking about, because they're just trying to
31:36look smarter than they really are. So, they get into this world of theory, right? And these theories
31:41don't work. Communism, queer theory, feminism. None of this stuff actually works in the real world.
31:48And so, it hits reality, and then all the professors are like, okay, well, like, we're just going to go to
31:53the other room, like, let you guys suffer the consequences of all this garbage. And that's
31:57where we are now. We're suffering from the consequences of stupid professors and people
32:02trying to impress these stupid professors. And we just need to get back to James Carville Democrats.
32:09He's either brilliant or totally deranged. Who, me?
32:13I thought Steve was talking about you, too.
32:16I want to go. No, Jesse's milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.
32:19James Carville, is he running a 1996 playbook? Yes, you do. Yes, I do.
32:25So, here's the thing. Carville, these are the dumbest debates. Internal Democratic debates are
32:30the worst. Because they'll say, stop saying oligarchy. And Bernie says, I'm going to say
32:34oligarchy more. And then they just have this fight back and forth. But the advice shouldn't be stop
32:38using the words. It's about stop using the ideas. Stop believing the ideas. If you take a look at the
32:44fact that President Trump did the EO, the executive order on diversity, equity, and inclusion. So a lot
32:50of companies were like, fine. Actually, I think a lot of companies were relieved. Oh, sorry. We have
32:55to get rid of these. Sorry. But Disney, Kohl's, Dollar Tree, and others, they just changed the name
33:01to belonging. So the ideas still exist. They're not actually changing their positions.
33:07So you've always said that if you control language, you control society. It is about power. Yeah. And
33:15the thing is, I mean, ideas are meant to reflect an idea. But what if the idea itself is toxic? Then
33:20the words become camouflaged. That's why they don't say abortion. They say pro-choice because just the
33:28thought of it, of abortion, is so disgusting. You turn it into reproductive health care. Carville has a
33:33problem, though. He's cherry-picking the words when, just like weeks ago, he was calling Trump
33:39supporters Republicans Nazis, that this was the return of the Third Reich. I don't know what's
33:44worse, the deconstructionist rhetoric or his constant demonization. I don't think he has. I think
33:55he doesn't have anything to replace those words with. And it goes back to what, you know, Harold,
33:59you were meant to do. The problem the Democrats has is bottomless. There's no foundational principles
34:05anymore because when they looked at the things that Trump is for, they have to decide that they're
34:10against it. So if you're for law and order, you're against it. If you're for biology, you have to be
34:15against biology. If you're for security, the border, you have to be against that. What about fitness?
34:20What about protein? You have to be against that, too. What about technological progress? You have to be
34:25everything that we now stake as good. They have to be the opposite. So they have nothing to build on.
34:33Their entire party is now on quicksand. What can they believe? In a woke crouch. In a woke crouch.
34:39He gave Democrats the two best things. In the early 90s, he said it's the economy stupid. And then
34:44during, after George Floyd, that we started doing, he said the stupidest things Democrats have said is
34:48defund the police. We should listen to him. He can give us that foundation. Do you wish he was in
34:52charge of the party? Well, I think he's, he knows he's not ready to do it, but his, his spirit and
34:56his instincts are what should be. I think it would have been. David Hogg should have said that.
35:01I think if I woke up in the middle of the night and James Carville was hovering over my bed,
35:05I would ready myself for a probe. Up next, the Trump administration is about to fix your car's
35:12most annoying feature. You're about to love it. Stay with us.
35:16See it. I like it. I want it. I got it. Yeah. I want it. I got it. I want it. I got it.
35:25Dance. Want your body. Want your body. Dance. Dance. Dance.
35:32The EPA's role is eyeing a rollback of what some say is your vehicle's most annoying feature.
35:40Lee Zeldin, the EPA administrator, posting on X, quote, start, stop technology where your car dies,
35:45at every red light. So companies get a climate participation trophy. EPA approved it and everyone
35:52hates it. So you know what? We're fixing it. Are you annoyed by this when you drive or when you hear
35:57people talk? I am too. I know you can turn the feature off, but it is still so annoying. And if
36:03we're actually doing something measurable, I think I'd be okay with it. But the fact that the gains are
36:09really theoretical, it's not enough to justify it, but it's these little things like that.
36:14And also taking a shower that's got some water pressure and flushing a toilet where you only
36:18have to flush it once. Those are little things that have a big impact on people's lives and how
36:23they feel. Greg, your thoughts on this? This is crazy because I grew up with a car like that. It
36:28was my like 76 Cutlass Supreme. It would just die at the freaking stop sign and I have to start it up
36:35again. And then all of a sudden I'm sitting in cars now and I'm going like, what's wrong with your car?
36:39And nobody could explain it. Like, what is this? Why is it doing it? And then I go like,
36:44aren't you going to need a new starter in like six months? Because I mean, it's like you're using
36:49the starter now 10 times as much and those things cost like 800 bucks. And they're made in China.
36:54Oh, God. Tell me about it. Harold loves China.
36:57DP, your thoughts on it? I do not love China.
36:59I would just say this. I think Lee Zeldin gets phrase of the week. Climate participation trophy.
37:06Excellent. That's a choice. Smart dude.
37:09Prime Tom, what are your thoughts about this? I never even thought the government should have
37:12mandated seatbelts in cars. That's what happens. You give them one thing and then they want to put
37:17everything in the car. What's next? What are they going to put an abortion clinic in every car?
37:22See, Harold, you got to stand strong.
37:24What did you think about the slavery decision that the government made?
37:27When's next commercial? One more thing.
37:31It's time now for one more thing, Greg. Michael Loftus tonight. I should put up the thing. It's
37:49Gutfeld, Chael Sonnen, Tyrus, Emily Campano. That's a great show. And remember, what did I miss?
37:55It's a new game show available now at Fox Nation. This is the final episode tonight.
38:00It's going to be great. Speaking of great, humans are great.
38:07Check this out. These were firefighters actually like pulled a little kitten out of a storm drain
38:13in Arizona. They heard the kittens cry. There's the kitten. And they used a rope to hoist the kitten
38:19out. They named the kitten, Riley, after the firefighter who saved her and then ate the
38:24kitten as some ritual sacrifice for some evil Satan god. Wait, they were Haitians?
38:30No.
38:33Allegedly, we have not confirmed those reports.
38:36Just kidding. Haitians, we love you.
38:38Tonight, let's just go to what we're going to show you now. The Five has a podcast. It's
38:45about darn time, people. Listen, after the show airs here, you can now download it and listen
38:52to the whole audio. Who hosts it? Apple, Spotify, FoxNewsPodcast.com. It's our own podcast.
39:03It's us. You idiot. It's just us. They make this a podcast. It's not a podcast.
39:09You're complicating everything. Like a replay.
39:12All right. Tonight, Jesse, what is primetime? Don't ruin it any more than it already is ruined.
39:18Johnny caught up with Clooney. No.
39:20George, did Obama use you? Why are you so nervous? You're shaky.
39:26What are you used by Obama, George?
39:28I'm shaking. Oh, wow.
39:30Wow. Johnny, you really make him do something.
39:32You tried to intimidate him.
39:34Mm-hmm. Clooney has that effect on all the fellas.
39:36Yes.
39:37Yeah. I'll go.
39:39Go look at me.
39:41Okay. I don't know who's driving this train. Another day, another wild video out of Florida.
39:44This time, a golden retriever ditched the doggy paddle for a ride on a jet ski. Instead,
39:48the aquatic pup was spotted in a marina sporting a yellow life vest and being toed by his owner, Florida dog.
39:53Wow. Nice timing, Dana. That's it for us. Have a great night, everybody. What's up, Brett?
39:57Hey, Jesse, it concerns me when I plug in and you say, just kidding, Haitians, we love you.
40:04But thank you. Thank you very much.
40:06You're welcome.
