Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about an older woman in Oklahoma who has been doing all sorts of things to get rid of a mysterious flying creature that has been banging on her door. Experts believe it's a giant moth and the show attempts to contact the lady to help her solve the problem.

00:00all right we're off to oklahoma next where a mysterious flying creature is terrorizing this
00:11family at night and this woman this old broad who's affected by it she's going well not all
00:16the stuff she's setting up skeletons to try and scare it off okay all sorts of crazy things it

00:56some cushions from the outdoor furniture but look what she's done that's the door right she's put

01:07of spray a fan on some buckets oh my gosh someone better check on her mental state carol are you what
01:15is happening i put the google outside stopping this flying creature from hitting carol dylan's back door
01:20has become her obsession over the past month it's tormenting her family at night even with the lights
01:27out and her changes to make the porch not so friendly to flying foes there's an owl there an owl there and
01:34then here's harry he's supposed to be a scarecrow but nobody's afraid of him in the afternoon i'll bomb
01:40the area to kill any insects but the creature just keeps at it i've seen enough of the videos to know
01:47because of the scalloped wings you know that that's a bat we asked michael holmes at the state wildlife
01:53department it's hard to tell but he believes it's a moth they can grow up to seven inches long this is a
01:59good year for moths because it's it's it's been pretty wet for the summer and this is the time

02:10diagnostician alex harman he says bats use echolocation and wouldn't be flying into the glass harman
02:17leaning towards a luna sphinx or polyphemus moth he says they're big enough to produce those loud thuds
02:23he says although carol's lights are off the moth may be attracted to that tiny light on carol's
02:29camera but how a moth is surviving all the bug piece of tape on it meanwhile carol just wants to
02:36close off her porch we have a guy coming friday morning she's gonna close off her porch for a
02:41moth we have another guy coming for another estimate in oklahoma city caitlin ogle i can't live like

02:53and that's it no i'm gonna get a whole new porch i mean it's a piece that could cost you nothing
02:58we're closing the porch off why don't you do what every other old person does and get one of those
03:03purple lights the one that zaps this thing into kingdom come that's a good idea too get one of
03:09those old person i can't wait to get one of those lights to get old enough to have one of those lights
03:15that just kills bugs non-stop it's a moth kill the sucker with electricity i spray during the day

03:27like a moth has been hitting my door i better tear my house down she's like it's a bat i've gone to
03:33the news they say it's a moth that's a bull it's a bat if i've ever seen one keeps hitting my door
