00:00On day two of the Arcana autumn sale the focus shifted to yearlings bred for

00:07national hunt and a new record was set in that particular segment. A colt by

00:12Dr. Dino made the new top price at 170,000 euros, one of several key

00:17acquisitions for Dai and Sarah Walters. Benoit Gaubert bred it and he's one of

00:22the best breeders in France as we well know and Anthony's bought masterminded

00:27long run all through Benoit and this horse was nearly, well it probably was

00:32the nicest yearling we thought of the day and of course thrilling is brilliant

00:36and placenet is I gather an up-and-coming horse everybody tells me

00:40that's a horse to keep an eye on. So he stood out and Dai has always wanted a

00:44good Dr. Dino so the cross works and let's see what happens.

00:49High Flyer Bloodstock also secured another Dr. Dino colt lot 595 a close

00:54relative to Otoy star Shannon Rock winner of the Prix de l'Aigle Jousselin and

00:58four-time runner-up in their Grand Stipple chase. Earlier in the day the

01:03team had bought a son of no risk at all out of a sister to two listed winners.

01:09We really like this horse tall horse a lot of size and scope nice pedigree it

01:14just moved like he wanted to be a racehorse and Dai loved him when we

01:17showed him to him this morning and yeah we've got him he's going to Wales.

01:21Also active on the day Bertrand Lemaitre had the last word on a rare son of

01:25Liberté des Mers by Saint-Denis. Liberté des Mers was an extraordinary mare owned by

01:29Jim Gordon when he passed away you know clients of ours bought the mare and

01:35we've been struggling to get a filly or sorry we had a colt out of her and we

01:40finally had a good colt and he's gonna go very probably to the Gordon family

01:45in partnership who their father used to own the mare.

01:49Another interesting purchase by Bertrand Lemaitre was a son of Mask Marvel out of a full sister to

01:54Kamzin the German Derby and Grosseurpreis von Baden winner.

01:58He's probably not the perfect jumping horse by pedigree but he was definitely by the way

02:03he walked and and his attitude was great so we thought we'll give it a good shot.

02:07Hubert Barbe signed the slip for lot 333 the offspring of Carmen Duberley a

02:13winner at Auteuil. The colt by Moutatier brought the hammer down at 90,000 euros.

02:1885,000 euros was the price tag for lot 643 a son of Authorized from the

02:24maternal family of Alley France. She was picked for Irish clients to be resold in

02:28the future. Lot 585 a son of Norris Cadol by the ACUPS mare Tante Sissi was

02:34acquired by David Flutter for 82,000 euros and she's also likely to see a

02:39sales ring in the future. It has a very good pedigree out of a three-part sister

02:44champion hurdle winner by a very exciting young sire. Sire we've had quite a

02:49bit of luck with. He looked like there was quite a bit of improvement in him

02:53hopefully fingers crossed so we'll we'll get him back home to Yorton with the

02:57team and make a plan from there. There's options of he could go into our sale next

03:01September. National Hunt breeding stock will be on offer Wednesday with the sale

03:05starting at 11 a.m. Deauville time.
