00:07Timberlake, a son of Intimischief, won the grade one champagne stakes as a two-year-old.
00:13If you recall, he defeated juvenile champ Fierceness in that race with the 93 buyer speed figure.
00:19Then as a three-year-old, Timberlake went on to take the grade two rebel stakes in all.
00:24He earned over $1.3 million on the track.
00:29Timberlake was a TDN Silver Value sire for 2025, and he stands at Windstar for a fee of $20,000.
00:37The fastest horse of the week is another son of Intimischief, who on Friday ran the second fastest five-and-a-half furlongs in North American racing history.
00:48It was five-year-old gelding Bring the Band Home, who won the Harvey Pack Stakes at Saratoga by four-and-a-half lengths on the turf.
00:57He earned a front-running romp. He earned a buyer figure of $1.09 million.
01:02You remember last year when Cogburn won the Jiper at Saratoga, five-and-a-half furlongs in 59.80 seconds, a ridiculous time.
01:11He was the fastest horse in the world.
01:13Bring the Band Home ran in 59.90, just a tenth of a second slower.
01:20And those are the only two five-and-a-half furlong races on dirt or turf to ever in North America be timed at less than one minute.
01:28It was the first Stakes win also for Bring the Band Home, owned by Charlotte Waver's Live Oak Plantation, trained by Mark Cassie.
01:35Cassie said afterward he long believed Bring the Band Home had top-class Stakes potential, but minor problems held him back.
01:42He's from the same female family as Tisnow and Bud Royale.
