00:00Good morning to all. Today is January 12, 2025 and here is the update on the weather forecast for the next 24 hours.

00:09At the moment, we are not monitoring any typhoons or low-pressure areas within our area of responsibility,

00:16but a large part of our country will still experience rain today.

00:21We can see here in our satellite animation that we still have clouds in the east of Southern Luzon and Visayas,

00:30where these clouds are brought by the shear line that is still affecting the southern part of Luzon,

00:36which will become the eastern part of Visayas.

00:47which is also brought by the easterlies.

00:49And today, the easterlies will also bring rain here in the southern and eastern portion of Medanau.

00:57Meanwhile, the north-east monsoon, Amiha, will continue to bring cold weather to the southern part of Luzon

01:04and it will also bring cloudy skies with rain here in a large part of northern Luzon.

01:13And just like the weather forecast for this Sunday,

01:17cloudy skies and heavy rains will still be experienced here in a large part of Bicol Region,

05:00And we also have high gale warnings in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, western coast of Pangasinan,

05:07eastern coast of Cagayan, Isabela, northeastern coast of Aurora,

05:12and northern and eastern coast of Polillo Islands,

05:15where we do not allow our countrymen to sail,

05:20especially those who have small sea vehicles.

05:25Here in Metro Manila, the sun will rise later at 6.24 in the morning,

05:29and set later at 5.45 in the afternoon.
