Good morning to all. Today is January 12, 2025 and here is the update on the weather forecast for the next 24 hours.
00:09
At the moment, we are not monitoring any typhoons or low-pressure areas within our area of responsibility,
00:16
but a large part of our country will still experience rain today.
00:21
We can see here in our satellite animation that we still have clouds in the east of Southern Luzon and Visayas,
00:30
where these clouds are brought by the shear line that is still affecting the southern part of Luzon,
00:36
which will become the eastern part of Visayas.
00:39
We can also see here in our satellite animation that we also have clouds in the east of Medanau,
00:47
which is also brought by the easterlies.
00:49
And today, the easterlies will also bring rain here in the southern and eastern portion of Medanau.
00:57
Meanwhile, the north-east monsoon, Amiha, will continue to bring cold weather to the southern part of Luzon
01:04
and it will also bring cloudy skies with rain here in a large part of northern Luzon.
01:13
And just like the weather forecast for this Sunday,
01:17
cloudy skies and heavy rains will still be experienced here in a large part of Bicol Region,
01:25
even in the area of Quezon, which is at the end of the shear line.
01:28
So, continue to be careful for our countrymen in the event of floods and landslides.
01:34
Meanwhile, the weather will also be gloomy with scattered rains,
01:39
landslides and landslides here in the area of Mimaropa, which is still at the end of the shear line.
01:45
Meanwhile, here in the area of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region,
01:50
even in the area of Aurora, the sky will also be cloudy with rain,
01:56
which is at the end of the north-east monsoon, Amiha.
01:59
And here in Metro Manila, even in the lower part of Luzon,
02:03
it will be cloudy until the sky is cloudy.
02:07
It will still be cold, especially at night and early in the morning.
02:12
And even if the chances are low, we still have the possibility of isolated
02:18
or mild rains or landslides that will still reach Amiha.
02:22
The temperature in Metro Manila is from 23 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:30
Meanwhile, in the areas of Visayas and Mindanao,
02:33
the sky will also be cloudy in the area of Eastern Visayas.
02:37
And there will still be chances of severe rains,
02:42
especially in the area of Northern Samar, which is at the end of the shear line.
02:47
Meanwhile, today, the Easterlies will also have heavy rains here in Caraga, Davao Region,
02:54
even in the area of Sarangani and South Cotabato.
02:58
So again, be careful for our countrymen in the possibility of floods and landslides.
03:05

And in Davao, the temperature is from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:31
At the moment, we are not monitoring any typhoons or low-pressure areas that are affecting our country.
03:37

03:44
where today, there are still moderate to heavy rains that will be experienced in Quezon, Camarines Norte,

04:26
especially those who live in the prone to floods and landslides,
04:31
