Welsh health Minister Eluned Morgan has apologised after a tweet caused some offence online. In light of David Cameron’s controversial return to government, Morgan joked ‘what’s next, Thatcher’s hearse at number 10’. Tory Senedd member Laura Anne Jones said the public expected better from their ministers.

Council tax in Wales is set to get its first overhaul in over 20 years, with a number of Wales’ 1.4 million homes set to be revalued. The Welsh government has warned that the new system will not benefit everyone and there will be winners and losers, with hope costs will be proportional to income in households.

A man has been sentenced to 300 hours of unpaid work after he admitted to damaging two labour politicians front offices with fireworks. Joshua Norris, 31 of Hoel Gwili in Llanelli, used fireworks at Dame Nia Griffiths and Lee Waters shared office, and will now be forced to pay £614 in damages.
