An inquest into the death of a 13 year old boy has found he took his own life in a field near his house. Jai Palermo went missing from his house in Pembrokeshire on 22 January 2020 and was discovered in the early hours of the next day. His mother said ADHD medication he was on had made him come quiet and reserved.

A teenager riding on an e-scooter was seriously injured after a collision with a car on Bryngwyn road in Newport. The 15 year old was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the collision involving a black Audi q2. Police are appealing for a second boy who is believed to have left before police arrived, to ensure he is safe and well.

The boss of language app Duolingo has said he supports the Welsh government’s plan to have a million Welsh speakers by 2050 despite pausing the course on the app. The move means no updates to the course despite them saying it was the fastest growing language in the UK in 2020.
