00:03 The issue now with Justin Fields is this.
00:05 Why is he struggling, Kevin?
00:07 From a talent standpoint, he should be top 10.
00:11 Arm, size, athleticism, he's got everything
00:13 you would look for in a first round quarterback.
00:16 Leadership, okay, you could question that.
00:19 For him to take the shot at the coaches,
00:21 then obviously someone got in his ear, Kevin,
00:24 and then he changed his tune later in the day
00:26 after making those original comments.
00:28 And let's face it, he has been a disappointment.
00:30 And I understand Ryan Pouls, the general manager,
00:32 didn't draft him, so there's no allegiance
00:34 to this quarterback, but they wanna get
00:35 a full evaluation of him.
00:37 There's really no one else they could turn to.
00:39 He's gotta be that guy.
00:41 But look, it has not happened here.
00:42 Now, I understand this is the second offense
00:44 he's had to learn since he was drafted three years ago,
00:46 but the bottom line is he's severely underachieved.
00:49 Pouls has done all he can to surround him with talent.
00:52 So now it's really on the quarterback.
00:53 They have a couple offensive line injuries.
00:55 They haven't been able to run the ball very well,
00:56 but here's the thing, also it's puzzling.
00:59 There were a ton of design runs from last season,
01:01 very few this season, which is ridiculous
01:03 considering how dynamic he was with his legs.
01:06 But Kevin, they drafted him to pass the football.
01:09 He's been a well below average passer so far,
01:12 so things have to pick up.
01:13 And it's not gonna be easier today,
01:17 on the road, in a hostile environment at Kansas City.
01:19 And by the way, one of the most underrated,
01:21 really, secondaries in football with those Chiefs.
