00:00And we'll start with this Scheffler cut from yesterday.
00:04I know you've seen it, a lot of people probably have.
00:06And that was at his press conference where he was asked about winning all these golf tournaments
00:12and potentially winning the Open Championship.
00:14And basically, Scotty, what fulfills him?
00:18I guess not just in golf, but in life.
00:21Really deep stuff from Scotty Scheffler here.
00:23It feels like you work your whole life to celebrate winning a tournament for like a few minutes.
00:30It only lasts a few minutes, that kind of euphoric feeling.
00:33And like to win the Byron Nelson Championship at home,
00:36I literally worked my entire life to become good at golf, to have an opportunity to win that tournament.
00:41And you win it, you celebrate, get to hug my family, my sisters there.
00:45It's such an amazing moment.
00:46And then it's like, okay, now what are we going to eat for dinner?
00:50Is it great to be able to win tournaments and to accomplish the things I have in the game of golf yet?
00:54I mean, it brings tears to my eyes just to think about because it's literally worked my entire life
01:00to become good at this sport and to have that kind of sense of accomplishment, I think, is a pretty cool feeling.
01:06It's fulfilling from a sense of accomplishment, but it's not fulfilling from a sense of like the deepest, you know, places of your heart.
01:13You know, there's a lot of people that make it to what they thought was going to fulfill them in life.
01:17And then you get there and all of a sudden you get to number one in the world and then they're like, what's the point?
01:22And, you know, I really do believe that because, you know, what is the point?
01:26You're like, why do I want to win this tournament so bad?
01:28That's something that I wrestle with on a daily basis.
01:31Yeah, I have no idea what just happened to us.
01:34I feel like we were, everything was great and we got a flat tire.
01:37I don't know.
01:40And people, of course, now are, you know, trying to decipher all that and break it down and do whatever.
01:47I don't know.
01:48I guess it's easy to say that when you've made like $75 million the last two years.
01:54I guess.
01:54I don't know.
01:55It's a little out there for me.
01:58I'm not a fan.
01:59So, I don't know.
02:01There's something about him that rubs me the wrong way.
02:03I'm not, I don't root for him ever, ever.
02:08So, like, he's not, like, you know, I'm betting against him, right?
02:11Like every week.
02:12Yeah.
02:12So, I think that's what did it to me.
02:15And, you know, I get it.
02:18I guess in some capacity, people that are, you know, great at what they do and then how do they find happiness outside of that realm?
02:31It would make some level of sense to me why he's that way.
02:35Maybe he gets off on having, you know, kids or something and a family, something like that.
02:42And I don't know.
02:44I really don't.
02:45I don't have an answer to why he beats the way he does.
02:49So, it is what it is.
02:51And I don't root for him.
02:52So, I don't really care what he loves.
02:54I don't really care what he does.
