00:00I thought yesterday that today would be the day when we would see some bigger names maybe climb up this board and put themselves in a better position.
00:08To be honest, Keith, I mean, we really haven't seen it other than Scottie.
00:11Like, Scottie, we kind of expected, but, like, the Ryan Gerrards and the Alex Smallies and the Matthew Pavans and, you know, Boz Idenhout, Fjorbjornsson, Harry Hall,
00:21like, these are the guys that have kind of moved up a little bit today, but Max Homa and Matthew Fitzpatrick,
00:28those are the two guys maybe that I have my eye on here, Keith.
00:32What do you think about those two?
00:34Well, first of all, Mike, I think Scottie's getting to your head because you're missing somebody.
00:38The big man, the big man shot 68 today, Bryson DeChambeau, and he's poised at a number.
00:45In the house, he's right behind those guys, right?
00:47Now, Homa's impressive. Fitzpatrick's impressive.
00:51It is 64 by Homa. Awesome.
00:54But you know what, though? It's a surprise.
00:56And it's the same thing for Fitzpatrick, who's still on the golf course.
00:59He's still got to get it through the green mile and, you know, kind of secure the score that he is at.
01:04But both of those guys have struggled for at least a year, you know?
01:08And so, yes, Homa has all of that great history here.
01:11He has won here before at Quail Hollow.
01:13You know, the last two times, his last two starts here at the Wells Fargo were both a T8.
01:17So, yeah, he's in a comfortable place, but he doesn't trust his golf swing.
01:22So, two more rounds with Homa seems questionable to me.
01:26And he's sitting right around that, you know, plus 2,000 number, plus 2,500, maybe by the end of the day.
01:31Fitzpatrick, he's almost one of the favorites.
01:34And you know what? He's won a major championship before.
01:36This would be his style of golf course.
01:38But he's been shaky lately, too.
01:40Man, I'm looking much more at Bryson.
01:43And, of course, obviously, Scottie's sitting there right there next to him.
01:47Now, you brought up Bryson.
01:49I wasn't going to leave him out.
01:50I don't have much time.
01:51I watched him a lot this morning.
01:53He should be like five or six under right now.
01:56Some of the putts he missed, Keith.
01:58Oh, my goodness.
01:59He's got to be kicking himself tonight.
02:01I tell you what.
02:02We said at the beginning of the week when we previewed it, it was going to be a putting contest.
02:05And for him, where he's hitting the driver, he should be better.
02:09But you know what?
02:09Let's keep backing Bryson.
02:11I think he gets the job done.
