00:00What better time than to see where we stack up at the midway point or only the midway point in the calendar, not necessarily the midway point in games of the big board for the World Series.
00:12It's the Dodgers, Scotty, followed by the Tigers, Phillies, Yankees, Astros, Cubs, Mets and Jays for you.
00:21The big board at the break.
00:23Well, I mean, listen, I think that there's some, you know, money to be made here.
00:31I think there's potential anyway for it with some of these teams that aren't the Dodgers.
00:37I think the Tigers obviously mean business.
00:40I think the Phillies will be in the playoffs.
00:42I think the Astros at 10 to one is is worth looking at.
00:46I think the Cubs at 13 to one is worth looking at.
00:50They've been fantastic.
00:52They do have the pitching.
00:54They do have the hitting.
00:56Nobody wants to admit it.
00:57And the Blue Jays, the last time the Blue Jays were this good, they won the World Series.
01:02And I think that was 93, right?
01:04And so they're 23 to one.
01:07And, you know, I guess some people would say the Mets at 13 to one because, I mean, they knocked the Phillies out, right?
01:16We talked about this the other day with Jody Mack that, you know, that that East is going to come down to the last week.
01:23It would appear to me like right now looking at it, it's been going back and forth like a seesaw, right?
01:29Like between the Phillies and the Mets.
01:30So all those teams on that board, definitely, I think at the end of the day, they all have a shot.
01:36I'm not feeling the Yankees at eight to one like everybody else that they think they're going back to the World Series because they're going to go get gallon and Suarez.
01:45I'll believe that when I see it.
01:47I'll believe that they even get gallon and Suarez when I see it.
01:52That's what I mean.
01:53Not just that.
01:53I don't believe they're winning the World Series, but I don't believe they're getting both those guys.
01:58I don't either.
02:00They are, of course, on the Yale board as well.
02:02The Tigers are favored to win the American League, as they should, as they sit at the break at 59 and 38.
02:1121 games over 500.
02:13And they are the favorites.
02:15Not by much, though.
02:15Then the Yankees and the Astros, all under four to one.
02:19And then you get a little bit deeper with the Blue Jays and the Mariners.
02:22Look at that Toronto, eight to one.
02:25And Seattle, 11 to one.
02:28They have great pitching.
02:31And they got the big bopper in Raleigh, the dumper.
02:36I mean, that price is not bad at 11 to one, right?
02:40Like you can put a couple of shekels on that and see what kind of trouble you can get into.
02:45I know they never get it done.
02:48You could say that about them.
02:49But Toronto's got it done before.
02:52So, and it's been a while.
02:53It's been forever, right?
02:54But they're really good.
02:56I mean, they're legit good.
02:58No one wants to admit it, but they are.
03:00They are indeed legit good.
03:03That's for sure.
03:04And the Dodgers are favored on the NL side of things, as we know.
03:09Phillies, Cubs, Mets.
03:10Pretty much the same as the big board.
03:12Yeah, I don't know why the Phillies are favored so heavily over the Mets.
03:17The Mets already proved that they can beat them.
03:19And the Mets could very well do it again.
03:23They could win the East again.
03:24And they, you know, I think they're getting fair to Midland respect right there.
03:28The Brewers, to me, at 13-1 are worth looking at, without a doubt, as a long shot.
03:34Because they mean business.
03:35We'll see how they do, Mike, against the Dodgers when they open up a series in L.A. Friday.
03:41I think, obviously, what it comes down to is, who out of all those teams do you give the best shot at beating L.A.?
03:47You know, that's the team that I want to back.
03:48Who's got the goods to beat the Dodgers?
03:50Because that's what you're going to have to do.
