00:02 - Dion in Colorado, stand on top.
00:06 45-42 the victory against TCU to open up the season.
00:11 DRS, when all the dust was settled
00:13 in Fort Worth on Saturday afternoon,
00:16 and Dion had said his things,
00:18 and Travis Hunter had played more than 100 snaps
00:21 on both sides of the football,
00:22 and Shador Sanders sent records
00:24 for that Colorado football program
00:26 in terms of passing yards.
00:28 What was your main takeaway from Colorado's stutter
00:31 to start 2023?
00:33 - The sky's the limit for the Colorado Buffaloes
00:35 as a program, as long as Dion Sanders
00:37 is going to be their head coach, to be honest with you,
00:39 'cause we didn't know what to expect.
00:40 We thought they might get hammered in that football game.
00:43 We thought they might be unprepared,
00:45 and there was a lot of people that were asking to say,
00:47 "You know what?
00:48 "What is actually gonna take place here?
00:50 "What happens if it's 45-3,
00:52 "TCU wins this football game?"
00:54 That didn't happen, and what a credit it was.
00:56 What a credit it was to Dion, that coaching staff,
00:59 getting those kids ready to play
01:00 and believing they can win,
01:02 and I love the fact that they showed pregame
01:04 and also at halftime,
01:05 where Dion basically stood in front of his guys and said,
01:08 "Maybe you didn't believe before,
01:10 "but you know you believe now.
01:11 "That was the appetizer.
01:13 "Let's get back out there."
01:14 And I loved every bit about it,
01:16 because how can you not believe?
01:18 Believing is a lot of that, Ben,
01:19 where it's like, "Hey, you know what?
01:20 "We're gonna get smoked and come back home
01:21 "and maybe try to beat Nebraska."
01:23 That team was believing the entire all season,
01:25 and it showed game number one.
