00:16I think there's a lot of interesting aspects of this for Phoenix, especially coming off of the draft that they had. And even if you like Jalen Green and you want to hold out that maybe this kid can figure it out at some point, Jalen Green in six of the seven games against Golden State was really bad.
00:38Like not just like, ah, didn't give us enough, like terrible under 15 points in all of those games, under 40 percent from the field in all of those games.
00:46It makes the 38 game that he had in game number two just that much more bizarre.
00:52But it happened. And I think the books are largely viewing, hey, Jalen Green is now Kevin Durant.
01:01OK, the Rockets, who were a 52 win team last year, are significantly better. A big reason for their move in the market.
01:09Not the only team, though, from Texas moving, J.Y. Cooper flag officially going to Dallas.
01:14And I think a lot of the hype around the Mavericks. We've seen some chatter around Coop and his new basketball team.
01:21Yeah. And really quickly, Houston's got an interesting situation because they have two young guards and Reed Sheppard and Cam Whitmore.
01:27Yeah. That one of them you can plug into the starting lineup and the other one you can bring off the bench.
01:30Right. Because you figure you go Fred VanVie, one of those two. Obviously, you go with Durant, Amen, Thompson, Shungun, Stephen Adams.
01:37Smart move. Three or $39 million contract, bringing him back. Jabari Smith off the bench.
01:41Tari Eason, who we all mean, Kevin. And I think, obviously, Tom, do big fans of Tari Eason, what he brings to the table off the bench.
01:48Secretly deep team. But when you head to Dallas, it's so interesting because a year ago, Kevin and I were huge fans of the Dallas Mavericks.
01:59Right. We sat there. We looked at this team. We're like, look at Kyrie. Run it back. Here we go. We're going to win a championship.
02:04Then Nico Harrison fumbles the whole thing. Then he wins the draft lottery. Then he gets Cooper flag.
02:10And now he's got Anthony Davis with Cooper flag, PJ Washington.
02:13And then you also have Lively and Derek Gafford in the frontcourt. Clay Thompson, Caleb Martin, backcourt.
02:21They've got to get another guard. But to me, Tom, if you're starting to look at teams that could be a sleeper this year in the NBA,
02:29if Dallas could hold it down until Kyrie gets back, that team is going to be dynamite defensively.
02:38Probably one of the top five teams defensively. And so much versatility with their bigs and with Cooper flag,
02:43that Dallas could be a sleeper team to make a deep run in the Western Conference.
