A man has been charged with murder after a woman’s body was discovered at a house in Neath. 48 year old Matthew Pickering of Beaconsfield Street is in police custody after being charged with 46 year old Georgina Dowey’s murder. South Wales Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Aran, an Osprey in Eryri has found a new mate after his long term partner Mrs G did not return to the area for the first time in 20 years. Mrs G but is now believed to have died before returning this year. Aran’s new partner Elen has laid two eggs which are hoped to hatch in the coming weeks.

Wrexham players have returned home after their trip to Las Vegas celebrating their recent promotion to the football league. The trip included parties with world famous DJ’s, 5-star meals at the Bellagio Hotel and better yet, it was all paid for by their Hollywood owners. Not bad for a group of guys recently playing in the 4th tier, eh?
