హుజురాబాద్ ఉప ఎన్నిక షెడ్యూల్ విడుదలైనప్పటికి అధికార టీఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీ ఎన్నికల నియమావళిని ఉల్లంఘిస్తోందని తెలంగాణ బీజేపి ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేసింది. ఇదే అంశంపై రాష్ట్ర ఎన్నికల కమీషన్ కు ఫిర్యాదు చేసింది తెలంగాణ బీజేపి.
