Learn How to make Kemami Seviyan at Home. Kemami sevai is a traditional recipe of Muslims which is famous in Pakistan and India. Kemami sevai is a recipe of vermicelli cooked with sugar syrup, milk and lots of nuts. It is a shahi dish nd taste awesome.
Ingredients: *Vermicelli (1 packet)/(200gm) *Pure Desi Ghee (5 tbsp) *Sugar (3/4 cup to 1 cup) OR as per your taste *Cloves (3-4) *Green Cardamom (6-8) *Yellow Food Colour (1 pinch) *Risen (1 tbsp) *Dry Milk Powder (1/2 cup) *Desiccated Coconut (1/2 cup) *Sliced Almonds (2 tbsp) *Sliced Pistachios (2 tbsp) *Kewra water (1 tsp) *Water (2.5 cups) *Fresh Milk (1/4 cup) (optional if need)
Method:
FOR SUGAR SYRUP: *Take a sauce pan, add water, Green Cardamom pods, Cloves, yellow food colour and sugar... mix it, Bring it to boil & cook for 5-8 mins (med low flame).
PREPARING KEMAMI SEVAI: 1.Take a pan, add pure desi ghee (melted) and Vermicelli. Continue stiring and fry 7-8 mins (low flame). 2.Add sugar water, milk and risen. Mix well then cover until vermicelli gets soft & water dries up (low flame). 3.Add Dry Milk Powder (Instead of khoya) and Desiccated Coconut. Mix well (low flame) 4.Sliced Almonds & Pistachios and Kewra water. Simmer for 2-3 mins then dish it off.
