Britain's Got Talent hopefuls The Arrangement believe they have what it takes to go all the way in this year's competition.

The eight-piece college group specialise in playing classical versions of popular chart hits.

Violinist Amy Dickens said: "We'd like to think that it's so ridiculous and silly that people realise we're not taking it too seriously, so they just laugh along and enjoy it!"

Their audition medley impressed judges Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan and prompted rapturous applause from the audience.

Even Simon Cowell, who pressed his buzzer to vote them off within seconds of their performance starting, admitted that he had been too hasty.

The group have now progressed to the next stage of the competition.
